Subrogation warrant on behalf of Manuel de Sampaio e Melo, administrator of the entail founded by Gaspar de Torres and his wife D. Leonor de Alarcão, allowing him to subrogate and exchange some old entailed houses in Lisbon, worth 5.000 cruzados, with beneficiado Pedro de Sousa e Macedo, that would give a public debt instrument worth 40.000 réis in return for them. The agreement was particularly useful because those houses were leased to the friars of Carmo convent, in Lisbon, for an yearly pension worth only 200 réis.
