Will (extract) by which frei Martinho da Silva instituted an entail with a property he owned in Arronches ("herdade da Contenda e dos Degolados"), designating his brother, Rui Teles de Meneses, to administrate it. He would be succeeded by his eldest son or daughter. If his brother died without leaving descendants, the entail would be transmitted to the Misericórdias of Elvas and Campo Maior. The institutions would be obligated to support the marriage of 2 orphan girls, each year.
