Grace warrant of administration on behalf of Paulo da Silva Mascarenhas giving him the administration of the chapel founded by Manuel Rodrigues in fulfilliment of a grace that was made on behalf of his father, Manuel da Silva Mascarenhas. The latter was allowed by a royal warrant dated 1641-04-04 to appoint his descendants to succeed him on the administration of the chapel, which he left by will to his son. This bequesth was not fulfilled, since the chapel administration was given to Manuel Correia da Silveira. Upon his death, the chapel was declared again vacant and requested by Paulo da Silva.
