Contract and bond deed between the cabido of the cathedral of Évora and Frei Ambrósio de Vasconcelos, who represented his brother, João Mendes de Vasconcelos, and sister-in-law, D. Briolanja de Melo. The latted added clauses to the contract issued on 1528-07-15, determining that a perpetual daily mass should be celebrated in their chapel. He committed on behalf of his constituents to give 10 000 réis, taken from the revenues of houses in Évora, to support the pious obligation and the chapel's maintenance. Therefore, the third part of the couples assets could not in any time be entailed to it.

The chapel would be attached to the entail established by Teresa Eanes da Fonseca ("morgado do Esporão"), which he administrated. The cabido accepted this request, determining that João Mendes de Vasconcelos had to entail a rent to that chapel in order to support the celebration of the annual masses. If he failed to do that, the third part of his assets and of his wife's estate would be associated to that pious obligation.

Court sentence judging a lawsuit brought by D. José Luís de Lencastre, Conde de Figueiró, against the Condessa de Figueiró, regarding the attachment of the third part of Manuel de Vasconcelos' assets to the entail he administrated ("morgado do Esporão"). The defendant, who had died before the conclusion of the case and was represented by the Marquesa de Castelo Melhor, was condemned to pay 11 031 270 réis to the plaintiff, who had to employ them in the acquisition of assets to attach to the mentioned entail.

Dowry deed by which Vasco Martins de Sousa Chichorro, represented by his son, Garcia de Sousa, gave a dowry of 5 000 dobras de ouro to D. Joana, his daughter, who was going to marry João Mendes de Vasconcelos. He also promised to give her a canopy bed and a tapestry. In turn, Álvaro Mendes de Vasconcelos, Leonor Ribeiro and their son, João Mendes de Vasconcelos, committed themselves to give a dower of 2 000 dobras de ouro as soon as the marriage occurred. Besides that, Álvaro Mendes and Leonor Ribeiro donated lands in Évora and vineyards incorporated in their entail ("morgado do Esporão"), two slaves, a pension of 25 000 réis and various objects and beasts of burden to their son. Followed by an instrumento de cumprimento de dote issued on 1491-05-23.

Will by which Teresa Eanes da Fonseca, wife of Fernão Lopes Lobo, Cavaleiro, bequeathed all her remaining properties to her nephew, Gonçalo Rodrigues da Fonseca, establishing a chapel with those assets and obligating him and his successors to support the celebration of 3 weekly masses for her soul in perpetuity in the chapel of Santo Antão of the cathedral of Évora. After the first administrator's death, the entail would be transmitted to his eldest son. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1427-05-09.
