The first entail would be composed of the farm of São Domingos, with it's sugar, cotton and subsistance plantations, thirty cows and also seven enslaved persons, over which he imposed a perpetual pious obligation of one mass celebrated every week as long as the world lasted, naming Fernando de Fontes, licenciado, to administrate it during his lifetime, and, before his death, he would appoint one of his children to suceed him with the same conditions. The second entail would be composed of some cotton plantations, 77 cows and also ten enslaved persons, over which he imposed a perpetual pious obligation of one mass celebrated in every week as long as the world lasted, and to to administrate it he named his nephew Miguel, son of his niece Filipa Olália, with the condition that he would study and become a priest. After the death of Miguel, the administration would then be handled to his mother or to the eldest relative of her lineage, where it should remain. If anyone of the entailed cattle and slaves were sold, died or run away, the administrators of both chapels would be obliged to replace them immediatly, in order to keep their numbers as disposed on this will.

Will chart by which Álvaro Furtado, husband of Isabel de Oliveira, expresses his wish to be buried in the chapel of S. Pedro Mártir of the convent of S. Domingos de Benfica, Lisboa, with the obligation of a daily mass for his soul. He entails his properties and bequeaths them to his grandsons, Álvaro and Duarte, and to their descendants. If one of them dies, the entail shall be given to the surviving one. If none of them has descendants, the entail shall be bequeathed to Duarte Furtado, Álvaro Furtado's brother, or to his descendants. Followed by an addition, dated 1588-11-24, by which he appoints his brother as guardian of his grandsons and administrator of their properties, until they reach adulthood.
Will chart by which Maria de Almada, daughter of Pedro Gomes de Almada and Joana Vaz da Mota, bequeaths various houses in Lisboa and two farmsteads (quintas) in Arrentela to her sister, Catarina da Mota. After Catarina's death, those properties would be divided and must become part of two different entails. One of them, composed of houses in Lisboa and the two farmsteads in Arrentela, should be administrated by Maria's nephew, António da Mota. The other one, composed of houses in that city, must be administrated by Leonor Godinho, Maria's niece. António, Leonor and their successors were obligated to celebrate annual masses in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. The testator declares that her body should be interred inside the grave of her parents and grandparents, located in that church. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1547-11-18.

He appointed D. Madalena to be the first administrator during her lifetime and, after her death, she shall be succeeded by Belchior do Rego de Andrade.
Will chart through which Guiomar Leitão Moniz establishes two entails, with lands (casais) she owned in the outskirts of Torres Vedras. She appoints her niece, Violante Moniz, to be the first administrator of one of them, which should be inherited by her descendants. If Violante died childless, it would pass to Francisca Moniz's son, Egas Moniz. Guiomar also appoints her sister, Francisca Moniz, Luís Nicolau's wife, to be the first administrator of the other entail. After Francisca's death, it would be inherited by her son, Egas Moniz. Both her sister and her niece, and their successors, are obligated to support the celebration of annual masses in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. The institutor named Manuel, son of Maria Lopes, his niece, as first administrator during his lifetime and, after his death, he shall be succeeded by his eldest male heir.

Will chart made by Diogo Homem Moacho in which he ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of three masses celebrated every year in the church of Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres. The institutor appointed his sister Catarina Moacho as first administrator during her lifetime, with the condition of taking care of Diogo, her nephew, son of the institutor. After her death, she shall be succeeded by Diogo, during his lifetime and, after his death, he shall be succeeded by Manuel Moacho, son of Francisco Moacho, who must appoint a person of his lineage. The “cumpra-se” dates from 1624-06-09.
Will through which Doutor Gaspar Vaz Rebelo, Desembargador do Paço, establishes two entails, with the assets he owned in Lisboa and Évora, appointing his two sons, Francisco Rebelo and Manuel Vaz Rebelo, as first administrators of those institutions. If neither of them survived, or had descendants, both of the entails would be inherited by Gaspar de Figueira, the testator's nephew. He instituted pious obligations of celebrating annual masses in the chapel of Jesus, in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa, and in his chapel, in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Évora. He chooses to be temporarily buried in the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. After his flesh disappeared, his bones should be transferred to the grave he had inside his chapel, in the convent of S. Domingos of Évora.

She appointed Maria, daughter of Pedro Gomes and Isabel Nunes Roxo, to be the first administrator during her lifetime; after her death, the administration would fall in one of her descendants. She also ordered the foundation of another chapel in the church of Santa Maria Madalena de Monforte, appointing the Confraria de Nossa Senhora do Rosário as administrator.
Will chart by which Jerónimo de Quintanilha, comendador da Ordem de Cristo, expresses his wish to be buried in the convent of Capuchos da Madre de Deus, near the archbishop D. Gaspar, his uncle. He designates his sister, Cosma Rodrigues de Quintanilha, as administrator of the chapel of Isabel Afonso, of which he was the current administrator by appointment from his father, João de Quintanilha. If Cosma Rodrigues dies before him, or without successors, the chapel shall pass to Maria Duarte, daughter of their sister Beatriz de Quintanilha. He also bequeaths her an orchard in Caspolima, Oeiras, to which he entails an obligation of three annual masses in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, for his and his parents' souls. After her death, it shall pass to the person whom she appoints as heir of the chapel of Isabel Afonso, so the two obligations are always together. He bequeaths his nephew, Jerónimo Quintanilha, who lives in S. Miguel, or his sister, 18 000 serafins or pardaus, under condition that he moves to Lisboa with his family and buys properties to entail to an obligation of four annual masses in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade. Will chart by which Helena Gonçalves, widow of de Cosme Dias Piloto, expresses her wish to be buried the chapel of Chagas of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa. She bequeaths her son, António Dias, her houses in Lisboa, with an obligation of two weekly masses and other annual masses for her and her husband's soul. If the houses can't be entailed, since they are leased, she orders him to sell them and buy properties to entail in their place. She also appoints him as tutor of his minor brother, Antão Gonçalves. Followed by approval deed and opening deed of the will, dated 1549-11-08.
Will chart by which Mécia de Andrade Freire, widow of doutor António Gentil, expresses her wish to be buried in the convent of S. Francisco de Xabregas, Lisboa. She entails her properties in Algés and Outarela with an obligation of two weekly masses in that convent. She bequeaths them to her nephew, António de Leão, who is in India, and to his successors. If he doesn't have any descendants, the entail shall pass to her other nephew, Manuel Homem, or to his sister, Mécia Fialho, children of Luís Homem.
