Revocation warrant addressed to the administrator of the chapels of the monastery of São Francisco of Évora, issued in the sequence of a petition presented by Gaspar Dias, by which he was ordered to receive the revocation of the administration and of an estate of the chapel founded by Maria Godinho.

Revocation deed by which Isabel Pais de Barros and the beneficiado Tomé de Gouveia de Altero, acting as representative of D. Filipa de Lacerda, his sister, and Cristóvão Mendes de Eça, revoked part of the dowry deed issued on 1649-07-04. Isabel Pais de Barros confirmed the will she and her brother, Francisco Mendes, had made in 1642 and the creation of the entail they had established. She gave a dowry of 1 conto de réis to the bride and groom. Contains a copy of a letter of attorney.

Revocation deed through which Catarina da Silva and her husband, Gonçalo de Paiva, algibebe, revoked a bond, issued on 1644-04-02, concerning the obligation, imposed by Frei Baltasar dos Reis to them, of paying, during his lifetime, 4 000 réis, each year, to Constança da Trindade and Maria da Nazaré, Catarina and Baltasar's sisters and nuns in the convent of S. Domingos of Elvas. After Baltasar's death, Catarina and Gonçalo were obligated, instead, to support the celebration of 11 masses in a church of their choice. By annulling that document, the couple instituted the pious obligation of celebrating, each year, the referred masses for Baltasar's soul, in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa, whose costs were to be sustained by the revenues of houses they had in Lisboa. That entail should pass to their successors.

Revocation deed by which D. Frei Jerónimo de Gouveia, bispo de Ceuta, revoked the clause where he established that if the administrator, Bartolomeu Nogueira, died prior the institutor, he could nominate whomever he wanted and the nomination previously made by the administrator would not be valid. He now established that Bartolomeu Nogueira had the right to nominate the entail's sucessor in all circumstances.

Revocation deed on behalf of Luís César canceling another deed passed on behalf of his wife, Cecília de Eça, allowing her to revoke her share on the foundation deed of their entail.

Revocation deed by Fernando Mendes de Olivença, administrator of the chapel of Santo António, by which he nullified the appointment of Gonçalo Lobo as chaplain, granting these fonctions to the friars of the monastery of São Francisco de Olivença, where the chapel was located.

Followed by a certification of the revocation deed by a notary (1616-03-24, fls. 471-471v) and another certification by the Juiz de Fora of Olivença (1616-05-09, fls. 471v-472).

Revocation deed by which the prior and friars of the monastery of S. Vicente de Fora of Lisboa revoke the licences they gave, between 1399 and 1401, to João Vasques, cónego, which allowed him to administrate the chapel instituted by Martinho Pires de Gaia and Maria Fernandes. Contains a copy of the institutors' will.

Revocation deed by which D. Frei Jerónimo de Gouveia, bispo de Ceuta, revoked the designation he made on the priests of Companhia de Jesus to be its entail's second administrator. He also confirmed the donation of a public debt instrument of 60 000 réis he made to Bartolomeu Nogueira, cavaleiro fidalgo da casa real and escrivão da Casa dos Catecumenos, in order to convert jew, moors and gentiles, or to donate dowries to orphans. He designated instead the "reitor" of Casa dos Catecumenos to be its second administrator. The successor of Bartolomeu's administration should give to Irmandade dos Clérigos some alms for their work. He established that this entail should always have two administrators.

Revocation deed by Diogo de Teives, changing the clause about the conditions fulfilment and its surveillance by the provedor dos resíduos and the clause regarding the annexation of the available portion by the entail administrators. The public notary, Sebastião Álvares, gave his approval to the revocation and declaration deed, on behalf of Gaspar de Teives, absent.

Revocation deed by which Domingos de Miranda, Beatriz de Torres' widower, revokes part of the will he had made with his wife. He reduces the perpetual pious obligation attached to the farmstead (quinta) of Fartos das Amendoeiras, Apelação, which should be fulfiled in the church of Encarnação for his soul; and the one associated to the houses in Moita, which would be fulfiled in the church of Misericórdia of Lisboa.

Revocation and entail foundation deed by Bartolomeu da Fonseca revoking his previous entail foundation deed and ordering again his properties annexation and entailing. He donates his properties to Fonsecas' family and his assets' administrators, describing their obligations.

Revocation and addition deed of João Afonso Barreiros replacing Álvaro Afonso de Picota for his cousin Gil Estevens das Sarzedas as the executor of his will. He also orders that his João Álvares, appointed for the administration of the chapel, can only take possession of the goods that are inside the house after the death of Domingas Eanes, wife of the above João Afonso Barreiros.

Resposta of Manuel de Carvalho Benavides, attorney-in-law of capitão Francisco Soares de Melo, informing that capitão Francisco Soares de Melo is not a part in the lawsuit and not appointed to it. He also protest that capitão Francisco Soares de Melo maintains his ownership (of the chapel) according to his court sentence pronounced in Relação and the notification does not affect him.

Resposta of priests of Nossa Senhora da Conceição declaring that the petitioners only have to assure the security of the chapel's pious obligations and that they can sell the houses located in beco da Estopa, which are enough to assure those obligations.

Resposta of licenciado Francisco Cabral de Sequeira, curator of Inácio Borges Rebelo, next administrator, declaring that, since the entail's owners live in Bragança, it is more useful to them to buy properties to entail in Bragança, instead of in Lisboa.

Resposta of Frei João Batista Rufino, prior of the monastery of Nossa Senhora do Monte do Carmo of Lisbon, confirming that he was notified and appointing Frei António do Vencimento, religious of the farmstead (quinta) of Corroios, as the monastery's attorney-in-fact to be present in the measurement and demarcation of the entail's lands.

Resignation, ratification, quittance, and agreement deed between Ana Teixeira, administrator of the chapel founded by Aldonça Afonso, represented by her attorney-in-fact her son João Teixeira de Batavias, and D. Maria de Bermudes, lessee of the chapel. João Teixeira approves the tenure contract that was signed 1559-06-06, recognizes the court sentence of 1573-05-17 and therefore withdraws the legal action. D. Maria Bermudes is obliged to pay the rent to Ana Teixeira or to her son João Teixeira de Batavias and to fulfill the pious obligations.

Resignation deed by which D. Isabel de Castro, wife of Jorge de Lima, gives up the chapel established by her son, Leonel de Lima, in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa. She claims he can't pay the obligations of the chapel, since he was made captive in Africa, and the priests of the convent had obtained a sentence against him, and requests the return of the money already spent in its construction. Leonel de Lima had founded the chapel by a contract with the priests dated 1576-05-08.

Resignation deed of Álvaro da Costa of all the entailed assets he administrates on behalf of Duarte Borges da Costa, his nephew.

Resignation deed by which padre António Machado Leitão, in his name and that of Paula de Pontes Machado, Maria de Pontes Machado and Ângela Machado, his sisters, for whom he was attorney-in-fact, renounces the inheritance that fell to them from João Machado de Pontes, their brother, in favor of Miguel Leitão Machado, also their brother.

Resignation deed by which Sancha Eanes, nun in the monastery of Chelas and daughter of Vicente Pires Sardinha, gives up her rights to the farmstead in Arrentela which she had inherited from her father, together with the obligations entailed to it, bequeathing them to the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa.
Contains undated writing by Sancha Eanes explaining that her father had inherited the totality of the properties bequeathed by Vasco Lourenço, since his cousin, João Pires Arangues, who had also been designated heir, had renounced his part. He had had conflicts with the priests of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade over the quantity of wine which should be given for the obligations entailed to it, managing to reduce it. After his death, his wife, Catarina Lopes, had inherited the farmstead and the obligations, but had stopped keeping them, and thus been warned by the priests.
Followed by lease of the lands by Vasco Pires and other documentation related to the management of the property after it was given to the priests.

Resignation deed by which D. João de Brissos, fidalgo da Casa do Rei, mestre de campo and cavaleiro da Ordem de Cristo, gives up his previous motion and appeal in the conflict he has with the priests of Santíssima Trindade, and accepts a previous sentence which ordered him to pay his debt.

Resignation deed by which D. Beatriz de Gouveia, wife and attorney for Doutor Francisco Coutinho do Sem, who was in India, gives up, in the name of her husband, the rights she had in the administration of the chapel instituted by Branca Eanes and Gil do Sem, in Santarém, by descendants of the institutors. Following a royal provision, which was at the mercy of the administration of that chapel, he undertakes to tombo the assets.
It contains a letter of attorney (dated 1631-02-10) and a certificate of the letter of attorney (dated 1631-02-10).
