Will made by Beatriz Lopes, in which she ordered the foundation of an entail, composed of properties in Porto Martins, Terceira island, with a perpetual mass obligation of a weekly mass and an yearly mass in All Soul's day, celebrated in the church of Santa Cruz, in Vila da Praia. She named her husband Manuel de Barcelos as first administrator, with the condition that he should marry their daughter Catarina. If Catarina ever married, she should inherit the entail, and, if not, the administration should be given to their son Luís. The administrator should appoint one of his children to administrate the entail, and if none of them had children, the administration should be transmitted to one of her nephews, sons of Maria Lopes, except the eldest, who was entitled to the entail founded by her grandparents.

Will (extract) by which Álvaro Fernandes establishes an entail with all his assets, appointing his grandson, Pedro, Isabel Fernandes' son, as its first administrator. He obligates him and his successors to celebrate annual masses for his soul in the church of the convent of S. He appoints his brother, Vasco Lourenço, as first administrator of his entail, which shall always be in his family by appointment. If there are no adequate successors to his entail, it shall go to Vicente, criado of João Lourenço, and to his children. If his lineage is extinguished, the Cabido of the cathedral of Lisboa shall appoint a new administrator.

Will (extract) of Leonor Pegada instituting an entail with pious obligations in the church of São Pedro de Elvas, and appointing her brother Pedro Garro and his offspring as administrators.

Will (extract) made by Isabel Lobato in which she ordered her grave in the chapel of Santo António, in the monastery of São Francisco of Santarém. She also ordered the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of masses celebrated every year in the in that chapel. She appointed Nuno Gonçalves to be the first administrator during his lifetime. The charges and the administrators must be the same as those set out in João de Sousa's will.

The first chaplain of his chapel will be António Galvão, and while he doesn't take orders, it will be his uncle, Bartolomeu Rodrigues.

Will (extract) of Isabel da Silva, annexing some estates to her chapel of Nossa Senhora da Esperança, in the monastery of São Francisco do Porto, and appointing Jorge de Eça, her husband, as administrator.

Will (extract) of Francisco Eanes and Catarina Eanes, founding a chapel with an annual mass in the church of São Paio de Midões, appointing as heir their daughter Antónia and her future husband and offspring. The entail should serve to support the chapel and the new couple.

Will (extract) of father Miguel da Fonseca, by which he declared that he wished to institute a chapel in the hermitage of Santa Ana, with the perpetual obligation of a daily mass. The testator left "um conto de réis" to be entailed. He appointed his niece Ângela da Fonseca, married to Gabriel de Araújo de Vasconcelos, as the first administrator, followed by her descendants, with the right to appoint one of her children as her successor. If she failed to do so, preference would be given to first-born sons. If they had no descendants, the entail would go to another of the founder's nieces, Mariana da Fonseca, or finally to his natural daughter, Marta da Fonseca. The administrators were obliged to use the family name and had to report to the Juízo dos Resíduos every three years on the correct celebration of the prescribed masses.

Will (extract) by which Maria Forjaz, Rui Mendes de Brito's wife, bequeaths the third part of her assets, including lands (herdade) in the outskirts of Évora Monte, to her mother, Grimaneza Forjaz, with the obligation of celebrating masses for her soul in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. After her mother's death, the entail should be inherited by the eldest son of the institutor. The testator declares that her remains and her father's bones should be buried in that church.

Will (extract) by which Ana Durenha establishes an entail with her houses in Lisboa, with the obligation of three monthly masses, one divine office and a nocturne in the church of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. She bequeaths it to her niece, D. Ana Durenha, wife of Francisco de Castilho. D. Ana Durenha will have the capacity of appointing her eldest son or daughter as the entail's next administrator, and it shall thereafter be in possession of their successors. If these requirements are not met, the entail shall be givevn to the Misericórdia of Lisboa.

Will (extract) by which Maria Viegas orders houses to be bought with the money she gives annually to her daughter, Maria do Nascimento, nun in the monastery of Anunciada of Lisboa. Her daughter shall have the usufruct of these properties, with the obligation of five annual masses. After her death, the obligation shall pass to Domingos Vieira, Maria Viegas's son-in-law, who shall appoint his closest relative as next administrator.

Will (extract) by which Pedro Francisco orders that houses be bought to entail to an obligation of weekly masses for his soul in the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Conceição of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. He appoints Fernando Eanes, his relative, as administrator, with capacity of appointing the next one, who has to be male.

Will (extract) by which Catarina Lopes, appoints her husband, Afonso Bembo, as her will's executor. She establishes a chapel of 25 masses in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, with the revenue of a farmstead in Azeitão, under the condition that, at the time of his death, her husband shall entail this farmstead and bequeath it to one of his two sons, João Bembo or Fabrício Bembo.

Will (extract) by which João Rodrigues, alfaiate, fulfills the will of his first wife, Catarina Fernandes, by entailing both their third parts, consisting of houses in Lisboa, with an obligation of two weekly masses in the convent of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios of Lisboa. He appoints as administrator of the entail his second wife, Isabel Francia, who shall appoint one of her children as future administrator. Will (extract) by which Margarida Tomás de Fonseca established an entail, appointing her son Miguel Rodrigues to be its first administrator. He was due to order the celebration of masses in the Church of São João, in Lisboa. This entail is composed of a "casal" called "as Cotovias" located in the outskirts of Lisboa.

Will (extract) by which the daughter of Inês Correia, António Marques' wife, establishes a chapel, entailing houses in beco do Gaspar das Naus, Lisboa, and determining that its future administrators should celebrate 24 annual masses in an unidentified church. After her death, the chapel must be administrated by her husband, who would transmit it to their daughter, Mariana Correia, Ambrósio de Carvalho Soutomaior's wife. The latter is allowed to appoint one of their children to be the chapel's next administrator. The testator declares that her mother had left her those houses with the obligation of celebrating 20 annual masses for her soul as long as she lived.

Will (extract) by which Diogo Rodrigues de Lisboa establishes two entails for his two grandsons, António Gomes do Alemo, son of his son Jorge Gomes do Alemo, and António de Torres, son of his daughter, Isabel Henriques, and of Diogo Lopes.
He bequeaths three quarters of his engine in Baía de Todos-os-Santos to António Gomes do Alemo, with the obligation of one daily mass in his chapel of Santo Ângelo, in the monastery of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa. If he dies before his grandfather, the entail shall pass to his father and siblings, or, if they have no descendants, to the lineage of António de Torres. He bequeaths the other quarter of his engine to António de Torres, with an obligation of five annual masses in the same chapel and the same clauses of succession as the other entail. After four years, António Gomes do Alemo shall use the revenue of his entail to buy the part of the engine belonging to António de Torres and annex it to his entail. António de Torres shall buy properties to entail in its place with the revenue from this sale. If both their lineages are extinguished, the sucession shall be by appointment.

Will (extract) by which Isabel Rodrigues bequeaths to Catarina Rodrigues, her criada, lands in Évora ("casal da Galvoeira"), determining that she and her descendants should support the celebration of 12 annual masses for her soul in the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa, where her body would be buried. Catarina Rodrigues and her successors are forbidden to sell, exchange or divide the entailed properties. If one of them decides to do so, the convent is allowed to appoint an honourable and good person to be the entail's next administrator.

Will (extract) by which Maria Fernandes bequeathed houses in Lisboa to Antão de Oliveira, Secretário da Rainha D. Leonor, obligating him and his descendants to support the celebration of 2 annual masses for her soul in the church of S. Miguel of Alfama. After his death, the entail would be inherited by his son, Manuel de Oliveira, the institutor's godson, and transmitted through his generation.
The testator established another entail with houses in the parish of S. Miguel of that city, designating Mécia Fernandes, her criada, to administrate it. She obligated her and her successors to support the celebration of an annual mass on S. Martinho's day in that church and to light a candle every Holy Thursday. At the time of her death, Mécia Fernandes would pass the entail to her eldest son or daughter.

Will (extract) by which Marcos Pires bequeaths a land and a vegetable garden (almuinha) in Alenquer to his wife, Catarina Jorge, obligating her to support the celebration of an annual mass for his soul in the church of S. Miguel of Alfama. After his wife's death, the entail would be transmitted to the institutor's closest relative chosen by her.

Will (extract) by which Maria das Neves bequeaths houses in Santa Iria and a vineyard in Anaia to Maria, daughter of Manuel Antunes, the testator's nephew, obligating her to support the celebration of 4 annual masses for her soul in the church of Santa Maria Madalena of Lisboa. The entail could be transmitted to Manuel Antunes' heirs or to someone chosen by Maria at the time of her death.

Will (extract) by which Maria da Conceição asked the executor of her will to sell part of her assets, including houses in Lisboa and her jewelry, and to buy a property with the sale's profit, which would be subsequently entailed to her chapel. She designated her husband, Manuel de Freitas Ferreira, to administrate it, determining that, at time of his death, he must choose someone among his relatives to become his successor. The future administrators of the chapel had to support the celebration of 300 annual masses for the institutor's soul and the soul of Simão Correia, her first husband, in the churches of Santa Maria Madalena, Nossa Senhora das Mercês, Nossa Senhora da Conceição dos Cardais and in the convent of Paulistas of Lisboa.

Will (extract) by which Padre Álvaro Monteiro bequeaths houses located on Praça dos Canos, Lisboa, to his son, Gaspar Afonso, determining that him and his descendants must support the celebration of 3 annual masses for his soul in the church of S. Julião of that city. After Gaspar Afonso's death, the entail would be transmitted to his eldest son or, if he dies childless, to whoever he chooses.

Will (extract) by which António Francisco established an entail using his third part of the inheritance, appointing his wife to be its first administrator and after her death his son Domingos, with the condition to became a priest. If none of his male children became a priest, his daughter Maria should succeed in this entail. They are obligated to order the celebration of masses in the Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Purificação de Bucelas. This entail is composed of a vineyard located in place of "Carregal", in Bucelas.

Will (extract) by which Francisco Dias designated Baltasar Marques, his son, to administrate the chapel he had established in the church of S. Pedro of Alfama. He determined that he and his successors should give, each year, 1 200 réis, taken from the revenues of houses in Bairro dos Escolares, Lisboa, to that church, whose priests would be responsible for celebrating 18 annual masses for the institutor's soul. The testator entailed a store in Rua da Galé to that chapel. He mentioned that he had already established a contract with the priests of that church. At the time of his son's death, the entail would be transmitted to a son or daughter of his choice.

Will (extract) by which Francisco Dias and his wife established an entail with the third part of their assets, including houses in Rua da Ferraria, Lisboa, determining that 5 000 réis of its revenues had to be given, each year, by its future administrators to the church of Nossa Senhora dos Mártires of Lisboa to support the celebration of 2 weekly masses and 2 annual masses for their souls. They designated Fernando Álvares and Francisco Dias, their sons, to administrate it, ordering that, after the death of both of them, the entail would be inherited by the eldest son of the last one standing.

Its revenues would permanently support the celebration of 3 annual masses for her soul and the souls of her parents and relatives in the church of Nossa Senhora dos Mártires of Lisboa. She designated her husband, Gaspar Vaz, to become the chapel's first administrator, obligating him to fulfil those pious obligations. At the time of his death, the entailed property had to be transmitted to a son or daughter of his choice. If any of the institutor's descendants died before appointing a successor, the entail would be transmitted to the eldest son of the last administrator.

Will (extract) by which Isabel Pereira, as heir and executor of her husband, appoints her criado, João Boto, and his descendants, as administrators of her chapel in the monastery of S. Salvador of Lisboa. If he or his heirs don't fulfil the obligations, the confraria do Santíssimo Sacramento of the monastery of S. Salvador can take the administration from them. She annexes to her entail the farmlands in Alenquer and the houses in Lisboa which she possessed.

They determine that the entail's first administrator has the obligation to appoint a successor at the time of his/her death. Furthermore, the testators declare that any movable assets should be sold and the sale's profit used to buy properties to entail to the chapel.
