Will made by Maria de Almeida, in which she expresses her wish to be buried in the chapel of Trindade in the church of S. Tiago of Marvão and establishes three entails. The first entail was composed of her estate do Porto de João de Arelha, it would have a perpetual obligation of 31 annual masses and would be administerd by Maria de Almeida's nephew, padre Lourenço Mouzinho, followed by his brother, Simão Fernandes Mouzinho, and his descendants. The second entail was composed of a vineyard in the place of Légoa, it would have a perpetual obligation of an annual mass and it would be administered by Maria de Almeida's nephew, padre Manuel Mouzinho, who would appoint the next administrator among his sisters. The third entail was composed of the institutor's houses, it would have a perpetual obligation of three annual masses and would be administered by her niece, Maria, and her descendants after her.

Will by which Margarida Vaz de Basto expresses her wish to be buried in the church of Espírito Santo of Nisa in the tomb of her uncle Luís Soares Galhardo, near the altar of Nossa Senhora da Esperança. She establishes an entail composed of her houses, with a perpetual pious obligation of two annual masses and designates her sisters, whose names are not mentioned, as first administrators, with the obligation of appointing the the future administrator among their relatives most in need. From then on the succession should continue by appointment.

Francisco of Portalegre and establishes three entails composed of of her farmlands and houses in Portalegre, each of them with a perpetual obligation of an annual mass each over her tomb. She named her husband Filipe Antunes as first administrator with the condition that he would appoint a person of her bloodline to succeed him with the same conditions.

Will by which Catarina Eanes, Afonso Pires' widow, bequeaths the third part of her assets to her eldest son, Pedro Afonso, with the obligation of supporting two chaplains in the churches of S. Nicolau and S. Domingos of Lisboa. They would celebrate annual masses for her soul, and for the souls of her late husband and her parents. After Pedro's death, his son would inherit the entail or other person chosen by him, who should belong to her lineage. She chooses to be buried next to Afonso Pires' grave, in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of the referred city. She mentions that her late husband was Contador do rei.

Will by which Diogo Fernandes expresses his wish to be buried in the church of Bucelas, where his father, Fernando Rodrigues, is also buried. He bequeaths half of his vineyard, called das Ruivas, to his wife, Ana Martins. He establishes an obligation of an annual mass in the chapel of Espírito Santo of that church. She can appoint the next administrator among their relatives.

Francisca Borges de Meneses, wife of António Ribeiro de Barros, establishes an entail with the remaining part of her properties, with the obligation of giving wax to the church near her farmstead of Colmeeiro, Torres Novas, and to the convent of Salvador de Évora, while the convent she wishes to establish in Torre de Moncorvo, near the place of Peredo, which she possesses, isn't built. She lists which properties are hers, and which belong to the entail of her husband, António Ribeiro de Barros. She appoints her second-cousin, Aires de Saldanha de Sousa, as her universal heir, bequeathing him her entail and the chapel of Nossa Senhora de Jesus in the convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça of Lisboa, of which she was the administrator. He can appoint the next administrator among his descendants. If he dies without successors, the entail shall pass to Francisca's other cousin, Aires de Sousa de Castro, in the same way. She expresses her wish to be buried in her chapel of Jesus while the convent of Carmelitas she and her husband wish to establish isn't built.

Will by which Isabel de Serpa, Nuno Freire's widow, and her daughter, Margarida de Andrade, Gregório Fernandes' widow, bequeath the third part of their assets to Isabel de Andrade, granddaughter and daughter of the testators, with the obligation of celebrating annual masses for the institutors' souls in the church of S. Cristóvão, where their remains should be buried next to the body of Isabel de Serpa's father. After the first administrator's death, the entail would be transmitted to her descendants. He establishes two entails for his children with pious obligations in his chapel. One with his third part and two public debt instruments in the Alfândega de Lisboa, which he bequeaths his son, António da Torre da Rocha, and his successors, with an obligation of a daily mass for his soul and half an annual of masses for the soul of his deceased wife, Isabel da Guarda. Will by which doutor Francisco Morato Roma, médico dos reis, and his wife, D. Maria de Andrade, express their wish to be buried in the convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça of Lisboa. They establish an entail with their third parts to which Francisco entails his properties in Alpalhão and D. Maria her properties in Vila Viçosa, with an obligation of 13 annual masses, 10 for their souls, over their tombs, and three for the souls of Torcato de Andrade and Beatriz Moreira, uncle and aunt of D. Maria, in the altar de Nossa Senhora of the monastery of Santo Agostinho of Vila Viçosa. The last one of them who survives can appoint the next administrator among their children, with preference for the male heirs, or among their closest relatives.
Followed by an approval deed and an opening deed of the will, made after D. Maria Andrade's death, dated 1667-04-04.

Will by which Catarina Ferraz, wife of Aleixo Pereira, declared that she wanted some assets to be bought in the city of Porto or on its outskirts. She designated her nephew the priest Afonso Ferraz to be its first administrator, with the obligation to celebrate masses in the Convent of S. Domingos. He could nominate whomever he wanted from his generation.

Will of Manuel Rodrigues Barranho, expressing his wish to be buried in the main church of Amieira do Tejo, Nisa, and establishing two chapels with the remaining part of his properties, to be given to each of his sisters: Maria Rodrigues, widow of Manuel Marchão Azeitado, and Branca Dias, wife of João Álvares. Each of them should order three annual masses for his soul. They would be succeded by their youngest daughters, who had the power to appoint their successors, male or female.

Will made by cónego Luís Dias in which he expressed his wish to be buried near his mother in the Misericórdia of Portalegre. He bequeathed his niece, Isabel, a farmland he posessed, as an entail, with an obligation of five masses celebrated every year, under the condition that she would appoint an administrator to succeed her, and from there on the succession should always continue through appointment. He bequeaths his brother, Diogo Dias, his vegetable garden and an olivegrove with the obligation of five more annual masses. It should pass to his nephew, Manuel Vaz, after Diogo's death, and to his successors afterwards. He also bequeaths his vineyard of Carvalhal to his nephews, Estêvão and Martinho Vaz, under the condition that they order two annual masses for his soul, under the same conditions as the previous donations he made.

Will by which Catarina Chorra Caldeira, Jorge de Pina do Lago's wife, established a chapel with all her assets, including houses, lands in Sardoal ("terras do Chão de Gracia Dias, a tapada de Santana, a herdade do Ribeiro Davide") and objects made of gold and silver, designating her great-niece, Teresa Canseco Caldeira, Joana Caldeira and Pedro Gueifão's daughter, to administrate it. She was obligated to marry according to her parents' will and to transmit the entail to one of her children. All the chapel's administrators had to support the celebration of annual masses for the institutor's soul in the convent of Nossa Senhora da Caridade, where her body would be buried; to give 1 000 reais, each year, to the Provedor da Misericórdia, who would be responsible for assessing the chapel's state; to incorporate new properties in it. The testator also declared that her husband would inherit the farmstead (quinta) of Torre.

Will (extract) by which Beatriz de Freitas established an entail with the obligation to celebrate four masses in the Convent of São Francisco de Xabregas. The institutor appointed Brígida da Guarda to be its first administrator and after her death she designated Sebastiana de Freitas, daughter of Miguel Rodrigues and his wife Margarida da Maia. After Sebastiana's death, she appointed another sister of hers to succeed in this chapel. This entail is composed of houses in Alfama, Lisboa. This chapel later incorporated into Beatriz de Freitas' chapel which was administered by Margarida da Maia.

Ana de Castelo Branco, wife of André da Ponte de Sousa, in which she ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of an entail with a perpetual obligation of a chapel of masses celebrated in the chapel of Santíssimo Sacramento, in the church of S. Sebastião, in Ponta Delgada. She named her husband to administrate it with the condition that he would appoint one of their children to succeed him. She mentioned that her father Baltasar Martins de Castro and her grandmother Francisca de Castro had founded entails that she administrated, and as she had the faculty to appoint her successor, she named her son João de Sousa Castelo Branco to administrate both entails.

Will chart by which Beatriz Taveira, widow of Pedro da Costa, Desembargador do Rei D. Afonso V, established an entail, incorporating in it houses in Lisboa, a farmstead in Lumiar ("quinta da Torre"), lands (casal) in Monção, outskirts of Santarém, and properties in Santa Catarina. She designated her nephew, Diogo Dias, Cavaleiro da Casa do Rei, to become its first administrator, determining that him and his descendants had to support the celebration of a daily perpetual mass for her soul and the souls of her relatives in the chapel of Santa Maria of the church of S. João da Praça of that city, where her body would be buried. After the death of Diogo Dias, the entail would be inherited by his eldest son. If his lineage became extinct, the priests of S. João da Praça had to elect someone to be the entail's administrator.

Will chart by which António Sanches wanted to be buried in the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça de Lisboa. He established an entail, incorporating some houses, a "casal" and a "marinha" located in Lisboa, in order to fulfil the pious obligations in that church. This entail should be administrated by his nephew Pedro de Faria and, after his death, by his son or daughter. If he did not have children, the administration would be attached to the other entail he founded. In addition, he entailed different assets for the celebration of masses in the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça de Lisboa, that should be administrated by Violante Maria. The successors must be descendants of Bartolomeu Sanches or António Sanches, nephews of the institutor. If there were no legitimate children, the administration should be attached to the other entail he founded.

Will chart by which Clara de Sousa, widow of António da Mota, wanted to be buried in the Church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, in the Convent of São Francisco, in Vila Franca do Campo. She bequeathed some lands to her nephew, Manuel de Sousa, with the pious obligation of a half of a chapel, and to her brother, Gaspar da Ponte, with the obligation of three annual masses. Gaspar da Ponte will be succeeded by his son, Manuel de Sousa, who will be succeeded by his sister, Isabel de Sousa, and her offspring, with the pious obligation of a chapel. Will approved in 1614-05-07 and opened in 1615-12-27.

Will chart by which João Rodrigues de Leão, Cavaleiro Fidalgo da Casa do Rei, establishes a chapel in the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. He declares that he had previously made an agreement with its prior and friars, by which he promised to give them a public debt instrument of 24 000 réis in exchange for the celebration of annual masses for his soul and that of his wife. Nevertheless, it was still necessary to make a contract with the convent, which he urges his heirs to do. He appoints his wife, Inês Lopes, as the entail's first administrator, bequeathing her part of his assets which should be incorporated in it. He obligates her and her descendants to give, each year, 4 000 réis to that convent in order to assure the chapel's maintenance; to check the state of its ornaments; to donate 10 000 réis to the convent of S. Domingos and S. Francisco of Lisboa, each Holy Thursday. The testator allows his wife to choose one of her nephews or nieces to be her successor, as long as he/she resides in Lisboa. He demands his remains to be buried inside his chapel.
Followed by an approval deed, issued on 1582-05-17, and an opening deed, issued on 1582-05-23.

Will chart of Padre Manuel de Sousa Novais expressing his wish to be buried in the church of S. Pedro of Vila Franca do Campo and establishing four chapels, two for his niece, Lúcia do Quintal, composed of a rent of ten moios of wheat, and two for his nephews, Padre Manuel de Sousa and Padre Miguel Tavares, composed of all his leases and farmlands. He also bequeaths his house to his nephew, Padre Manuel de Sousa, and, after his death, to Padre Miguel Tavares and, after his death, to Lúcia do Quintal, with the pious obligation of half of a chapel.

Will chart by which Pedro Nunes Florença and his wife Beatriz Nunes Florença joined together the third part of their assets and left them to their daughters Joana de Andrade and Maria da Assunção with the obligation to celebrate masses. Beatriz Nunes Florença also used the third of the assets of her aunt Grácia Nunes Florença, and her great-grandparents Catarina Fernandes and João Lopes.

Will chart of Belchior da Costa. He was the administrator of two chapels, one instituted by Francisco Vaz de Sousa and Ana da Costa, his parents, and another instituted by his grandparents. He joins the two chapels, annexing other assets and increasing the charges. He appoints Ana da Costa, his sister, and António de Sousa, his nephew, executors and administrators, who were to appoint the son they wanted to succeed them.

Will chart by which Isabel Rodrigues Morgado wanted to be buried in the church of São João Batista of Abrantes. She established two entails, incorporating on both of them half of her assets for the fulfillment of the masses celebrated in that church. She designated her nephew António Rodrigues Minaya to be the administrator of one of them, and her nephew Manuel de Sousa to succeed on the other. In case of extinction of the lineage of one, the entail would be transferred to the administrator of the other entail. Followed by some additions.

Will chart by which António de Novais Machado wanted to be buried in the chapel of his father-in-law Manuel da Costa, in the Monastery of Castanheira, and be transferred afterwards to the Monastery of São Francisco de Alenquer. He incorporated into this entail the third part of his assets in order to fulfill the pious obligations in the church where he would be buried. He designated his wife D. Maria de Sequeira to be its first administrator and she should nominate one of their daughters to succeed.

Will chart of Francisco da Fonseca and Joana Monteiro, his wife. They want a chapel to be built, dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Conceição or to the Pranto e Descimento da Cruz, in the church of Maceira, on the outskirts of Leiria. They entail assets, located on the outskirts of Viseu, for the construction of the chapel, purchase of ornaments and celebration of charges. The one member surviving of the couple had to appoint whoever they wanted to administer the chapel. It contains a list of the ornaments and implements with which they intended to endow the chapel.

Will chart by which Francisco Lopes and Margarida Dias, his wife, designated each other to inherit all their assets after the death of one of them. After the decease of the last surviving member of the couple, Francisco Lopes' assets would be inherited by Bárbara Rodrigues, his niece, on the condition that she had to change her name to Bárbara Lopes and could not sell or exchange the inherited properties for others. She and her descendants were obligated to support the celebration of 2 annual masses for the testators' souls in the church of S. João of Lumiar. If she died childless, the entail would be transmitted to the institutor's closest relative who used the family name "Lopes".
Margarida Dias declares that her assets must be inherited by her nephews, Gaspar Fernandes and Luísa Antunes, who were henceforth obligated to celebrate 4 annual masses for the testators' souls in that church. If they decided to divest those properties, they had to guarantee that they would always be associated to that pious obligation.

Will chart by which Baltasar Barreto, Maria Barbosa de Almeida's widower, establishes a chapel in the church of Santa Justa of Lisboa, entailing houses in Rua de Lopo Infante. He appoints Amaro Varela de Faria, his wife's grandson, to be its first administrator, with the purpose of aiding him to become an honourable clergyman. The latter is obligated to support the celebration of 120 annual masses in that church and to pass the entail to his closest male relative.
He also bequeaths houses in that city to Antónia da Silva, his servant and former slave, with the obligation of celebrating 5 annual masses in that church. She is free to leave them to whomever she chooses.

Will chart of Ana Galvão de Abreu, ordering her grave in the convent of São Francisco of Lisboa, in the tomb of Maria de Abreu, by which she entails a farmhouse (casal) in São Tiago dos Velhos and a farmhouse (casal) in Murteira, parish of São Mamede, on the outskirts of Torres Vedras, to fulfill the charges celebrated in the monastery of São Francisco of Lisboa. She appoints cónego Simão de Gouveia as first administrator, with the responsibility of appointing the successor.
She also entails the olive grove of Forno da Cal, in S. João da Talha, in favour of Joana Rebelo, to help her in her wedding with the pious obligation of an annual mass for the souls of the institutor's deceased ancestors.
She institutes another entail comprising a farm (quinta) in Bulhão, in Alvalade o Grande, and two houses on Rua do Saco, in Lisbon. She appoints D. Antónia, her niece, as first administrator, and her sons and descendants to succeed her.

With Brás Fernandes, her second husband, she had created an entail, having entailed the assets of their third parties, to celebrate the charges, in the monastery of São Vicente de Fora. She entails new assets, increasing charges. She nominates António Rodrigues, her son and executor, to administer it, as Margarida Luís, her daughter, who was previously nominated, has died. She left a "casal" located in Caspolima to her nephew Filipe Antunes, with the obligation to order the celebration of masses. It should succeed one of his male children. If there was no appointment, the eldest son would succeed. She established a chapel, incorporating four "casais" located on the outskirts of Lisbon in order to fulfill the charges celebrated in the church of Oeiras. They declare they had signed a contract, in 1604-03-26, with the provedor of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Azurara, reserving the income from several properties for the construction of the chancel of that church and hospital expenses. They now entail those properties as a chapel and appoint Maria Tomé, as the first administrator. A daughter was to succeed her, with females taking precedence in administration.
They institute another entail with properties located in the outskirts of Prado which shall be used to purchase olive oil and wax for the Santíssimo Sacramento of the convent of São Francisco of Azurara. They appoint Maria Carneiro as the first administrator, to be succeeded by her daughter, Ana.
They also institute a chapel dedicated to Nossa Senhora, on the altar of Piedade in the Convent of São Francisco de Azurara, and appoint Justa as the first administrator, to be succeded by one of her children.

She orders her burial in the church of Santa Engrácia, where her husband, Estevão Zagalho de Andrade, was also buried. She leaves a candal, a farm in Espiçandeira, on the outskirts of Alenquer, and some houses in Lisboa, in Rua da Feteira, for the celebration of charges. After her executor's death, it was to be left to one of his children. If his lineage was extinguished, the entail would be administered by the Misericórdia of Lisboa. The executor must also give a dowry, in the amount of 100 000 réis, to Isabel Borges de Castro, her sister, to profess in the convent of Espírito Santo in Torres Novas. The executor, and other possessors, had to give an annual account in the Juízo das Capelas of the celebration of the charges.

The first entail would be composed of the farm of São Domingos, with it's sugar, cotton and subsistance plantations, thirty cows and also seven enslaved persons, over which he imposed a perpetual pious obligation of one mass celebrated every week as long as the world lasted, naming Fernando de Fontes, licenciado, to administrate it during his lifetime, and, before his death, he would appoint one of his children to suceed him with the same conditions. The second entail would be composed of some cotton plantations, 77 cows and also ten enslaved persons, over which he imposed a perpetual pious obligation of one mass celebrated in every week as long as the world lasted, and to to administrate it he named his nephew Miguel, son of his niece Filipa Olália, with the condition that he would study and become a priest. After the death of Miguel, the administration would then be handled to his mother or to the eldest relative of her lineage, where it should remain. If anyone of the entailed cattle and slaves were sold, died or run away, the administrators of both chapels would be obliged to replace them immediatly, in order to keep their numbers as disposed on this will.

She named her son Simão de Sousa Raposo, priest, to administrate the entail during his lifetime, and after his death the administration should be given to her nephew Francisco de Arruda, also priest. After the death of Francisco, the administration should be given to his brother João de Arruda, who would be succeeded by one of his children, appointed by him before his death.

After the death of one of the members of the couple, the surviving one should become the shelter's administrator, passing it to Estêvão Pires, alfaiate. He is bound to transmit it to his eldest son. Will chart by which Cosma Rodrigues de Quintanilha expresses her wish to be buried in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, near her father, João de Quintanilha. She entails a casal in Zambujal, S. Domingos de Rana, with an obligation of 52 masses over the tomb of her parents. She designates her husband, Cristóvão Ferreira da Fonseca, as first administrator of the entail and, after his death, her great-nephew, Diogo Dominico, eldest son of her niece, Maria de Quintanilha, and his descendants.
She also appoints her husband as administrator of the chapel of Isabel Afonso and of the orchard in Oeiras which had an obligation of three annual masses in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade, under the condition that he marries one of her nieces, daughter of Maria de Quintanilha. If he doesn't fulfill this condition, the chapel of Isabel Afonso and the orchard shall pass to Maria de Quintanilha herself, and to her successors.

Will chart of Gonçalo Rodrigues Camelo, declaring that he wants to be buried in the church of Santa Maria Madalena of Lisboa, and designating Afonso de Almada and Lourenço Eanes, his criados, as his executors. He leaves to the administrator of Catarina Lopes’ hospital his houses, with charges, reserving the usufruct for his wife. He leaves half of all his assets to his wife and the other half to pay the established charges. Regarding the assets belonging to the entail and hospital of Catarina Lopes, which he enumerates, he leaves them to Afonso de Almada. The latter would become the entail's next administrator and would have the responsibility to nominate a successor, who should reside in the parish of Madalena.
The will chart is inserted in an opening deed of a will (dated from 1451-05-19) and is followed by an approval deed (dated from 1451-05-18).

Will chart by which Leonor Fernandes, Lourenço Eanes' widow, establishes an entail with houses in Lisboa and a farmstead (quinta) in Camarate, appointing Afonso Taveira, Pedro Taveira's son, her grandnephew, to be its first administrator. He and his descendants are obligated to support the celebration of annual masses in her chapel of the convent of S. Domingos, to give, each year, olive oil to light a lamp inside it and 4 200 reais brancos to its friars.
She founds another entail with houses in Lisboa and lands (casal) in Alcântara and Alcolena, determining that its first administrator should be Rui da Grã, Desembargador do Rei, her nephew. The future administrators of the entail must support the celebration of annual masses for her soul in the church of S. Mamede of that city.
The testator also bequeaths an olive grove, in S. Lázaro, to João de Santiago with the obligation of giving, each year, olive oil to light another lamp in a chapel of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. The property should be transmitted to his son.

He established an entail, incorporating some houses, a "casal" and a "marinha" located in Lisboa, in order to fulfil the pious obligations in that church. This entail should be administrated by his nephew Pedro de Faria and, after his death, by his son or daughter. If he did not have children, the administration would be attached to the other entail he founded. In addition, he entailed different assets for the celebration of masses in the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça de Lisboa, that should be administrated by Violante Maria. The successors must be descendants of Bartolomeu Sanches or António Sanches, nephews of the institutor. If there were no legitimate children, the administration should be attached to the other entail he founded.

She leaves her house, located in Castelo Branco, to Catarina, her maid, with charges. After her death, her sisters should appoint the next administrator, and the house should always be in the possession of an orphan, appointed by the administrator. She also entails the rest of her assets, having fulfilled the legacies, and appoints Mónica de Santo Agostinho, her sister, first administrator, to whom her sister, Simoa da Ascensão, should succeed. The next administrator was to be appointed by the previous ones, having to be related to the founder and the Silva lineage.

Will chart made in by Catarina da Costa, in which she ordered the foundation of an entail with a perpetual mass obligation of ten masses celebrated every year on the church of N. Sra. da Devesa, in Castelo de Vide, where her body should be buried. She appointed her niece Bárbara da Costa as first administrator of the entail during her lifetime. By the time of Bárbara's death, the institutor disposed that she could split the entailed assets in two parts, if she wished to, and bequeath each part to one of her children with the condition that they would order the perpetual celebration of five masses every year. From there on the succession should continue on the heir appointed by the last administrator. If Bárbara died without heirs, the administration would be handled to the closest relative.

Will chart of Francisco Gonçalves Vila Chã and Maria Gonçalves, his wife. They declare they had signed a contract, in 1604-03-26, with the provedor of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Azurara, reserving the income from several properties for the construction of the chancel of that church and hospital expenses. They now entail those properties as a chapel and appoint Maria Tomé, as the first administrator. A daughter was to succeed her, with females taking precedence in administration.
They institute another entail with properties located in the outskirts of Prado which shall be used to purchase olive oil and wax for the Santíssimo Sacramento of the convent of São Francisco of Azurara. They appoint Maria Carneiro as the first administrator, to be succeeded by her daughter, Ana.
They also institute a chapel dedicated to Nossa Senhora, on the altar of Piedade in the Convent of São Francisco de Azurara, and appoint Justa as the first administrator, to be succeded by one of her children.

The institutor also confirms the institution of a chapel that he had instituted with Inês Álvares, his wife, and appoints João Carrilho, his nephew, to administer it after the death of Manuel Carrilho, who was previously appointed.
