Will (extract) by which António João and his wife Domingas Moreira established an entail, designating their goddaughter Maria Moreira to be its first administrator. She was due to order the celebration of masses wherever she chose and she could appoint whomever she wanted to succeed in this entail. Its proprieties are composed of houses located in Lisboa and the rents of some lands.

Bento de Xabregas of Lisboa. She shall appoint the next administrator among their children. The entail shall then pass to his successors by appointment.

Will (extract) by which João Brás bequeathed the third part of his assets, including lands in Oeiras, to his wife, Luísa da Rocha, ordering her to lease those properties and to use its revenues to support the celebration of 2 annual masses in the church of Oeiras and in the church of Misericórdia, every year. After the death of the entail's first administrator, she would be succeeded by one of her children or grandchildren.

Will (extract) by which Bartolomeu Nogueira expresses his wish to be buried in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, with an obligation of 100 masses for his soul, to which he entails his houses in Lisboa. He annexes this obligation to the entail of 60 000 réis of interest in the Almoxarifado do Pescado, which the bishop D. Frei Jerónimo de Gouveia had bequeathed him for the convertion of infidels to the catholic faith. He appoints as next administrator of this entail his wife, Luísa Soares. If she can't inherit it, because she is a woman, the administrator shall be their son, Francisco Soares.

Will made by Beatriz Lopes, in which she ordered the foundation of an entail, composed of properties in Porto Martins, Terceira island, with a perpetual mass obligation of a weekly mass and an yearly mass in All Soul's day, celebrated in the church of Santa Cruz, in Vila da Praia. She named her husband Manuel de Barcelos as first administrator, with the condition that he should marry their daughter Catarina. If Catarina ever married, she should inherit the entail, and, if not, the administration should be given to their son Luís. The administrator should appoint one of his children to administrate the entail, and if none of them had children, the administration should be transmitted to one of her nephews, sons of Maria Lopes, except the eldest, who was entitled to the entail founded by her grandparents.
