Will (extract) by which Fernando de Palma reserves 500 000 réis of his revenue to buy properties in Lisboa or Castille which will be entailed with an obligation of masses in the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Piedade of the monastery of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa, where he wishes to be buried. The revenue from this entail shall be divided by five of his poorest relatives, who shall be chosen by his son, Luís Ferreira, and his cousin Francisco de Lucena, and by the descendants of his son, afterwards. If Luís Ferreira or Francisco de Lucena die before the institutor, the choice shall fall to his nephew, Diogo de Ferreira, and to the surviving one. The administration of the properties and entail shall pass to the descendants of Luís Ferreira. If he doesn't have any, it shall pass to the doutor Gonçalo de Santa Cruz or to Diogo Martins, and to his descendants, who are appointed patrons of the entail, and shall help in its administration.

Will (extract) by which Diogo Lopes and his wife, Francisca Rodrigues, entail their third parts with an obligation of two weekly masses in the church of the monastery of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa and of giving alms to the confraria of Nossa Senhora da Piedade of that monastery, who shall surveil the maintenance of the obligations. They designate their son, Diogo Lopes de Macedo, as first administrator.

Will (extract) by which Matias Gonçalves Paz and his wife Mariana Correia established an entail with the obligation to order celebration of masses wherever the administrator wanted. They designated Manuel Gonçalves Campelo to be its first administrator and, after his death, this entail should be succeeded by his eldest son. This entail is composed of a public debt instrument of 100 000 réis in Estanco do Contrato do Tabaco, with the obligation to save 40 000 réis for the chaplain and the remaining part for the administrator.

Will (extract) by which Pedro Eanes Cota an his wife established an entail, designating her daughter Margarida da Costa to be its first administrator. She was due to order the celebration of masses in the Church of Santo André de Velha, in Mafra, and to give to the priests some wine and bread. This entail is composed of vineyards and orchards located in the place of "Velha". After their daughter's death it should succeed her eldest son but, if she died childless, it should succeed their closest kin.

Will (extract) by which António Veloso established an entail, designating his sons António Veloso and José Veloso, both priests, to be its first administrators. They were due to order the celebration of masses for his and his wife's soul wherever they wanted. The administrators were also obligated to incorporate their "legítimas" into this entail and to use the institutor's third to buy public debt instruments or immovable goods. After the death of both of them, it should succeed his daughter Maria da Cruz and her heirs, with the obligation to incorporate their thirds into this entail. They also should give some money to the poor kin and to his niece Engrácia Silveira in order of getting married or becoming a nun.

Will (extract) by which Manuel de Brito established an entail, designating his legitimized son Jorge de Brito to be its first administrator. The institutor wanted to be buried in the same place of his parents and grandparents in the Church of the Convent of São Vicente de Fora and he ordered the celebration of masses for his soul in this church. He also designated his son Jorge de Brito to succeed in another entail he administrated in the Church of Santiago de Urra, using the rents of a "herdade" in Alcaradiça, on the outskirts of Redondo. If his son died childless, it should succeed his granddaughter D. Isabel de Mendanha, daughter of Jorge de Brito, with the same obligations but, if he had a son, this entail should be succeeded by him. This entail is composed of a "casal" in Belém and somes houses in São Lázaro, in Lisboa.

Will (extract) by which Pedro Zuzarte established an entail, designating his cousin Guiomar Zuzarte and her husband António Temudo to be its first administrators. They were due to order the celebration of masses in the Church of São Jorge, and to give to the priest some jars of oil for the lamps. This entail is composed of houses, lands and a "casal" with its vineyards located in Abrantes and its outskirts.

Will (extract) by which Tomé Nunes da Gaula entails a property in Santarém, named Maria Torta, and orders the acquisition of another property of the same value to entail. He establishes an obligation of masses in the church of the monastery of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa. He designates his daughter, Marta Nunes, as first administrator, and her descendants afterwards.

Will (extract) by which Beatriz Brandão established an entail, designating her niece Maria de Almeida to be its first administrator. She was due to order the celebration of masses for her and her husband's soul in the Convent of Santo António da Lourinhã. The institutor also established the obligation to donate money to "merceeiras" and for the oil of the candles. If her niece died without heirs, it should succeed her sister Luísa de Almeida, and if her sister died without heirs it should succeed their brother Francisco Serrão. This entail is composed of farm located in the outskirts of Torre Vedras, houses in Lisboa and a "casal" in Alenquer.

Will (partial) by which Vasco Pereira, cavaleiro da casa dos duques de Bragança, bacharel em Leis e em Artes , designates his wife, Berengária Eanes, as his universal heir and executor and disinherits all of his other heirs, revoking his previous wills. He declares that he and his wife have established to bequeath their nephew, Álvaro Pereira, their farmstead of Roças, as an entail, with the obligation of ordering five annual masses for their souls over their burial places.

Will (partial) by which João Vaz annexes his third part to the entail founded by his father and bequeaths it to his eldest son, and to his successors, according to the dispositions of his father's codicil. He orders the administrators of the entail to always annex their third parts to it.

Will (summary) by which Bartolomeu Cristóvão bequeaths lands (casal) in Linda-a-Velha to his brother, João Cristóvão, obligating him and his successors to spend annually 15 libras on the purchase of linen and burel, which should be used in the making of clothes for poor people. After his brother's death, the properties should be inherited by Catarina Bacias and her descendants. The institutor establishes another entail with houses and lands in Lisboa, instituting the obligation of spending 5 libras each year on the acquisition of fabrics destined to be used in the making of clothes for poor people. He appoints João Martins, executor of his will, to be its first administrator, who would be succeeded by his eldest son. João Cristóvão, João Martins and their successors are also obligated to support the celebration of annual masses for the soul of the testator in the church of the convent of Santíssima Trindade, where his remains would be buried.
