Will chart by which Lourenço Afonso Pombo, lavrador, and Catarina Eanes, his wife, bequeath lands (casais) in Arranhó and Bucelas to Afonso Eanes do Arcipreste, their criado, obligating him and his descendants to support the celebration of 6 annual masses in their chapel of the church of S. Lourenço de Arranhó, which they should maintain. The testators declare that their remains must be buried inside their chapel.

After the decease of the last surviving member of the couple, Francisco Lopes' assets would be inherited by Bárbara Rodrigues, his niece, on the condition that she had to change her name to Bárbara Lopes and could not sell or exchange the inherited properties for others. She and her descendants were obligated to support the celebration of 2 annual masses for the testators' souls in the church of S. João of Lumiar. If she died childless, the entail would be transmitted to the institutor's closest relative who used the family name "Lopes".
Margarida Dias declares that her assets must be inherited by her nephews, Gaspar Fernandes and Luísa Antunes, who were henceforth obligated to celebrate 4 annual masses for the testators' souls in that church. If they decided to divest those properties, they had to guarantee that they would always be associated to that pious obligation.

The administrator should name the following, who must be of her generation.

He entails what remains of his third part, afther legacies being fulfilled, as well as a third part of his father (Salvador Dias) and mother (Clara Dias) and instituted a chapel in the church of São Bartolomeu of Coimbra. He also appoints his wife to administer it. Diogo Gonçalves, the institutor's brother, must have succeeded him, and then his children. The morgado da Serra was also to be managed by his brother and later his nephews.

Will chart made by Margarida Nunes de Horta in which she ordered her grave in the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Conceição or Assunção, in the hermitage of Espírito Santo da Pedreira, in Lisbon. It also orders the institution of a recolhimento for merceeiras. She appoints Jorge de Horta, her nephew, as administrator of the chapel she had previously founded with her sister Mécia Nunes de Horta, now deceased. If he did not have children, Manuel Nunes, living in Lisbon, should succeed him.

Will chart of Afonso da Cunha, capitão-mor de Alvor. He determined that his body had to be buried in the grave of Álvaro de Ataíde, since his chapel was being built at that moment in Nossa Senhora do Rosário, Alvor. His wife, Guiomar Simões, would be responsible for choosing the patron saint of the chapel, where the testator's remains would be deposited and a weekly perpetual mass would be celebrated for his soul. The future administrators of that chapel would be obligated to maintain it and to preserve its ornaments.
The institutor established another chapel, entailing to it all the assets he had inherited from Aldonça de Arvelos, his cousin, namely two watermills in Lagos, houses on Rua de Pedro Borges, in that city, and unspecified rents (foros). The revenues of those properties would support the celebration of a perpetual mass every friday wherever his body would be buried. He designated his wife to administrate it, asking her to entail the houses in which they lived in Alvor to the chapel. She would be succeeded by her nephew, Francisco de Freitas, who would transmit it to his eldest son.
Followed by an approval deed, issued on 1592-07-09, a codicil from 1592-07-17 and the approval deed of the codicil, issued on 1592-07-17.

Will chart of António Varela Rangel, ordering his grave in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisbon, if he died in Lisboa, or in the church of Misericórdia of Santa Comba Dão, if he died in Beira. After her death, she would be succeeded by Pedro Vaz, her son.

Will chart by which D. Joana de Macedo, D. Henrique de Noronha's wife, declares that part of her assets should be divided in three parts, which would be given to her husband, her three sisters and the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. Before the deaths of those beneficiaries, their shares must be bequeathed to the convent, whose friars are obligated to celebrate masses for the institutor's soul.
At the end of the will, there is an undated declaration, signed by the testator, through which she revokes what she had declared regarding the partition of her patrimony. The testator decides to bequeath all her assets to D. Francisco de Noronha, her stepson, on the condition that he marries her niece, Helena de Macedo. The couple and their descendants are obligated to support the celebration of annual masses for D. Joana de Macedo's soul and that of her mother in the church of that convent.
Followed by an approval deed issued on 1546-11-19 and an opening deed issued on 1546-11-21.

Will chart by which Maria Fernandes Marouco, Manuel Vaz Mimoso's widow, establishes eight entails for her nephews and nieces, each one with an obligation of two annual masses.
The first one was composed of the houses where the institutor lived, in Castelo de Vide and was to be administered by Jorga, her niece, and afterwards by her daughters.
The second one was composed of other houses in Castelo de Vide and was to be administered by Maria Vivas and Leonor Fernandes, and afterwards by their children.
The third one was composed of a land in Alpalhão, and was to be administered by Isabel Freire, and afterwards by her children.
The fourth one was composed of a vineyard in Cruz da Tapada and was to be administered by Maria Mourato, and afterwards by her children.
The fifth one was composed of a land in Ameixieira, which the institutor had inherited from her father, and was to be administered by Jorge Vaz, who would be succeded by his sons.
The sixth one was composed of another farmland and was to be administered by Jorge Afonso and Álvaro Fernandes, who would be succeeded by their children.
The seventh one was composed farmlands in Castelo de Vide, and was to be inherited by Maria Mendes and Leonor Mendes, sisters, who would be succeded by their children.

Will chart made by Aparício Domingues in which he ordered the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of masses celebrated every year in the church of São Pedro of Évora. He appointed João Lobo to be the first administrator during his lifetime and, after his death, he shall be succeeded by his legitimate son. João Lobo immediately receives the administration and returns it to Aparício Domingues.

Will chart by which D. Joana de Macedo, António de Sousa's widow, established a chapel, entailing to it a rent (foro) of wheat and barley extracted from properties in Évora ("herdade da Fonte Boa"). She designated her nephew, Ascenso de Sequeira de Macedo, to administrate it, determining that him and his descendants had to support the celebration of a daily perpetual mass in the convent of Santa Maria do Espinheiro, where her body should be buried next to her husband's remains; and a mass, every year, in the church of Misericórdia. She established a chapel in Campo Maior, to which she attached several pious obligations that were already being celebrated for the souls of her parents and brothers, and entailed some properties ir order to fulfill the pious charges. She designated Gonçalo de Morais Pereira to be her last will executor and its first administrator and he could nominate the chapel's successor.

He appoints Pedro Vaz de Castelo Branco, his son, executor, universal heir and administrator of the entail. He mentions a chapel in Lisboa, created by his wife, intending that the succession in the entail he instituted would follow the same principles as that chapel, since both would remain with his son.

He institutes a chapel in the church of Misericórdia of Alvito, entailing assets to fulfill the charges. He appoints Tomás, son of Maria Magro, his niece, as administrator, if he were a clergyman. The administrators were supposed to be clerics, descendants of Maria Magro, excluding, however, Damião Dias Magro and Pedro de Lemos. If the descendants were extinguished, the administration would fall to the deão of the cathedral of Évora.

He establishes an entail with his properties in Lisboa and Graciosa, Açores, and appoints his eldest son, Jerónimo da Veiga, as his universal heir and administrator of the entail. He establishes an obligation of a daily mass and one annual mass in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, where his successors can build a tomb for themselves, with 20 000 reis of alms. If Jerónimo da Veiga doesn't have children, the entail shall go to his brother, Luís da Veiga, if he doesn't become a cleric, or to the lineage of Tristão Vaz da Veiga's brother, Lourenço da Veiga.

Will chart made by Tomé Pires, in which he ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of two masses celebrated every year in the convent of Nossa Senhora da Estrela, in Marvão. The institutor appointed Tomé Pires and Domingos Pires, his nephews, sons of Domingos Pires, his brother, as first administrators during their lifetime and, after their death, they shall be succeeded by their closest heir.
Tomé Pires ordered the foundation of another chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of two masses celebrated every year in the convent of Nossa Senhora da Estrela, in Marvão. The institutor appointed Maria and Salvador, children of Leonor Pires, his niece, as first administrators during their lifetime and, after their death, they shall be succeeded by their eldest heirs.
The institutor ordered the foundation of a third chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of a mass celebrated every year in the convent of Nossa Senhora da Estrela, in Marvão. The institutor named Manuel, son of Maria Lopes, his niece, as first administrator during his lifetime and, after his death, he shall be succeeded by his eldest male heir.

If he doesn't have any descendants, the entail shall pass to her other nephew, Manuel Homem, or to his sister, Mécia Fialho, children of Luís Homem.

If Bento Rodrigues, his nephew, son of Baltazar Rodrigues, his brother, is ordained a priest, he should be the first administrator. If not, it would have to be padre Manuel Dias and then the priest who was his closest relative. When the offspring were extinguished, the administrator would be chosen by the vicar of the village and the provedor of Misericórdia. Immediately it was to be administered by Baltasar Rodrigues, until his son was ordained.

Will chart of Gonçalo Rodrigues Camelo, declaring that he wants to be buried in the church of Santa Maria Madalena of Lisboa, and designating Afonso de Almada and Lourenço Eanes, his criados, as his executors. He leaves to the administrator of Catarina Lopes’ hospital his houses, with charges, reserving the usufruct for his wife. He leaves half of all his assets to his wife and the other half to pay the established charges. Regarding the assets belonging to the entail and hospital of Catarina Lopes, which he enumerates, he leaves them to Afonso de Almada. The latter would become the entail's next administrator and would have the responsibility to nominate a successor, who should reside in the parish of Madalena.
The will chart is inserted in an opening deed of a will (dated from 1451-05-19) and is followed by an approval deed (dated from 1451-05-18).

Will by which Diogo Gonçalves do Prado, Guiomar Machado's husband, founded an entail, with the pious obligation of one daily mass to be celebrated in the chapel of Trindade, in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. He incorporated various houses he had in Lisboa, a property (casal) in its outskirts, and the third of his and his wife's assets in the mentioned entail. He appointed his son, Diogo, as its first administrator, after whose death he ought to be succeeded by his male first born son. If Diogo died childless, the entail was bequeathed to Fernando de Braga, who then had the responsibility of appointing the next administrator. He chose to be buried in the aforementioned chapel, in the grave where lied his brother, João Gonçalves de Prado. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1472-06-01, and an opening deed issued on 1474-06-15.
