Will (extract) made by Lourenço Caldeira in which he ordered the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of masses celebrated every year in the monastery of São Francisco of Évora. He appointed Beatriz Mendes de Vasconcelos to be the first administrator during her lifetime.

Will (extract) made by Manuel Fidalgo da Costa and his wife Beatriz da Veiga Spínola, in which they have ordered the foundation of an entail with their lands in Covada, with a perpetual pious obligation of two sung masses, as long as the world lasted, with bread and wine offer over their graves in All Souls Day. They named padre Florêncio da Veiga Escórcio to administrate the entail during his lifetime, and, after his death, the administration would be handled to Helena, his natural daughter. From there on, the succession should always continue, preferably, on the eldest heir. They also asked the Cabido to surveil the fulfillment of this will.

He appointed Luís Touro to be the first administrator during his lifetime and, after his death, he shall be succeeded by his male son that he appointed.
It was opened on 1521-04-25.

Will (extract) by which Mécia Fernandes bequeathed lands (casa) in Valejas, located on the outskirts of Lisboa, to Jorge Lopes, obligating him and his successors to support the celebration of 10 annual masses for her soul and the soul of her sister, Leonor Fernandes, in the churches of S. Miguel and S. Pedro of Alfama. The properties could never be sold or exchanged for others. Jorge Lopes had to appoint the entail's next administrator or, if he died before doing it, to transmit it to his eldest son.
The testator leaves, also, houses in Beco do Lagar do Mel, Lisboa, to her criado, Rodrigo, determining that him and his descendants had to celebrate 5 annual masses for her soul in the church of S. Miguel. Those houses could never be sold. If Rodrigo did not produce an heir, the entailed property would be added to the entail left to Jorge Lopes.

The entailed properties could never be sold or exchanged for other ones.

João da Praça of Lisboa, where his body shall be buried. After his daughter's death, the entail should be inherited by her eldest son. The entailed rent could never be sold or exchanged for other property.

Will (extract) by which Domingos Pires and Beatriz Jorge, his wife, determine that, after the death of both of them, the third part of their assets, including a vineyard in Arcas, must be inherited by Maria Jorge, João Rodrigues' widow, who, from then on, is obligated to support the celebration of 4 annual masses for the testators' souls in the church of S. João of Lumiar. If Maria Jorge dies without receiving the inheritance, the entail would be transmitted to a son or daughter of her choice. If the future owners of that property do not fulfil the pious obligation established by the testators, it should be passed to a brotherhood of that church.

Will (extract) by which Maria da Silveira, Sebastião de Miranda's widow, bequeaths houses in Lumiar to Madalena da Fonseca, obligating her and her heirs to support the celebration of 3 annual masses for her soul in the church of S. João Batista of Lumiar. She declares that if her son, João de Miranda, turns back from Índia, those houses would be delivered to him. In that case, the third part of the testator's assets would be inherited by Madalena da Fonseca, without any pious obligation attached.

Will (extract) by which André Fernandes bequeaths two floors of a house located on Lisboa to his son, Francisco Vaz, obligating him and his successors to support the celebration of 3 annual masses for his soul in the church of S. Julião, where his body must be buried. After the first administrator's death, the entail would be transmitted to Gaspar Vaz, André's son, and subsequently passed to his eldest son.

Will (extract) by which Bárbara Afonso designates her husband, Manuel Pais, as her heir, bequeathing him her third part, consisting of houses and mills in Lisboa, with an obligation of a monthly mass for her soul. She also bequeaths him other houses with the obligation of a weekly mass in a total of 50 masses. The houses can be sold with these obligations. She also declares that whoever inherits her casal in Monfeire, Lisboa, has to order a monthly mass for her soul and three Christmas masses.

He mentions that his body should be buried inside that convent.

The latter must transmit it to his eldest son. The future administrators of the entail are obligated to support the celebration of 4 annual masses for the institutor's soul in the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa.

Will (extract) by which Diogo de Castro do Rio orders a daily mass for his soul and a yearly divine office in his chapel of Nossa Senhora da Conceição in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. He entails to it his houses in Fangas da Farinha, which had belonged to his sister, Justa Vaz, to be administered by his heir and by the confraria de Nossa Senhora da Conceição of that convent. He also orders that a candle should always be lit in the chapel. If the confraria is extinguished, the obligation shall be passed to the Hospital de Todos os Santos, and if the Hospital is extinguished, it shall be passed to the Câmara of Lisboa. He establishes that this chapel shall be the burial place of his descendants.
Followed by notes from 1859, referring two subrogation sentences from 1855 e 1857 related to Quinta do Rio, in Sacavém, part of the entail established by Diogo de Castro do Rio.

Will (extract) by which Beatriz Vaz orders her burial in the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Conceição of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, which she established with her husband. She entails to it 20 000 reis, to employ in the acquisition of a public debt instrument or properties, so a daily mass and an annual divine office can be prayed for her soul. She orders that these masses shall be prayed in the monastery of Sta. Cristina [of S. Silvestre] whilst her body is deposited there. She charges her son, Martinho de Castro do Rio, and his successors, with this obligation, together with the members of the confraria de Nossa Senhora da Conceição of that chapel.

She appoints Palmades Vasques, her grandson, as administrator, and his successors afterwards.

Will (extract) by which Fernando Álvares de Almeida and Isabel Brandão, his wife, established an entail, incorporating in it houses they owned in Rua Nova D'El-Rei, Lisboa. The entail's future administrators were obligated to support the celebration of a daily perpetual mass in the chapel of S. Miguel of the church of S. Miguel of Alfama, where the institutor's bodies would be buried; to maintain, every day, a lamp alight near the Santíssimo Sacramento of that church; to provide for the poor members of their family and to give, each year, 4 000 réis to the Hospital de Santa Ana dos Incuráveis, which was administrated by the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa.

Will (extract) made by João Gonçalves Folga na Palha in which he ordered the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of a mass celebrated every day in the church of Santa Cruz of Santarém. He appointed João de Basto to be the first administrator during his lifetime. Guiomar Rodrigues, João Gonçalves' wife, consents to the institution of the chapel and also entails her half of the assets. The successors were to be elected by the vigário of the church of Santa Cruz, the prior of the monastery of São Domingos and the guardião of the monastery of São Francisco.

Will (extract) of Catarina Eanes ordering her grave in the chapel of Santo Espírito, which she had founded with Diogo Gonçalves Gavião, her husband, already deceased, in the monastery of São Francisco de Beja. She entails several assets to fulfill the charges and appoints João da Costa, her nephew and executor, as administrator. The eldest son or daughter should follow. If she did not fulfill the charges, the municipality of Beja should appoint a new administrator to do so.

Will (extract) by which João Fernandes, pedreiro, and his wife, Catarina Álvares, bequeath their houses in Lisboa to André Vaz, Catarina Fernandes' husband, João's niece, ordering him to sell them and to buy, with the sale's profit, a property in that city or in its outskirts. André was subsequently obligated to employ part of its revenues to support the celebration of masses for the soul of the institutors in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. If André died before fulfilling the testators' wishes, his eldest son should be obligated to do it.

Will (extract) by which Francisco da Fonseca appoints his wife, Beatriz Monteiro, to succeed in the houses near Santo António dos Capuchos, with the obligation of accomplishing a set of perpetual masses for his soul at the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa. He details some of the conditions, adding that whoever has the houses must commit to this charge, and if that person doesn't fulfil it at some point, the priests of the convent should ensure it, taking the houses and using their income. The testator also expresses his wish of being buried in that convent.

Romão of Alverca do Ribatejo. Following her death, Mariana Cordeiro, the testator's niece, would administrate it and pass it to her descendants.
She establishes another entail with houses and a vineyard in Bucelas, designating her nephew to administrate it. He and his successors must support the celebration of an annual mass for the institutor's soul in that convent.
The testator also declares that none of the entailed properties should ever be sold or exchanged for others.

Will (summary) by which Bartolomeu Cristóvão bequeaths lands (casal) in Linda-a-Velha to his brother, João Cristóvão, obligating him and his successors to spend annually 15 libras on the purchase of linen and burel, which should be used in the making of clothes for poor people. After his brother's death, the properties should be inherited by Catarina Bacias and her descendants. The institutor establishes another entail with houses and lands in Lisboa, instituting the obligation of spending 5 libras each year on the acquisition of fabrics destined to be used in the making of clothes for poor people. He appoints João Martins, executor of his will, to be its first administrator, who would be succeeded by his eldest son. João Cristóvão, João Martins and their successors are also obligated to support the celebration of annual masses for the soul of the testator in the church of the convent of Santíssima Trindade, where his remains would be buried.
