The former left the third part of his assets, including vineyards and lands in Rossais to his wife, ordering her to fulfil various legacies. After the death of his wife, that estate should be delivered to his niece, Vitória do Rego, with the obligation of supporting the celebration of 56 annual masses for his soul in the church of S. João Batista of Lumiar. If those assets were sold, the pious obligation had to go with them. The testators left lands in Albogas to Maria Brás, Inês' sister, with the obligation of celebrating 2 masses, every year, for their souls in the church of Almargem do Bispo. They also left a rent (foro) in a vineyard to João Gonçalves, their brother-in-law, and his wife, obligating them to celebrate an annual mass for their souls in an unidentified church. After their deaths, the entail would be inherited by their daughter, Maria. Inês Brás determined that, after the death of her husband, all her assets had to be delivered to her nephew, Duarte, who would be responsible for celebrating, each year, 57 masses in the church of S. João Batista. If he died before receiving that inheritance, it would pass to Santos, another nephew of Inês Brás. The testators declared that their bodies would be buried in the church of S. Francisca da Grã, during the minority of her grandson, Manuel Pinto, with the obligation of ten annual masses over her tomb. If Manuel Pinto dies before his mother, the entail shall pass to his brother, Gonçalo Mendes, or to his other siblings and successors. She also bequeaths her daughter the estate of Caravela, which she had inherited from her brother, António Freire, as an entail, which shall always be joined to her own. Brásia Estácia declares that if she dies before her husband she bequeaths him her properties in Monsaraz, houses in rua do Crucifixo, and the vineyard of Pêra Manca. The testator appointed her son, Pantaleão Carneiro, to administrate it, obligating him to give 2 annual pensions of 2 500 réis to his sisters, nuns in the convent of Santa Clara, during their lifetime. If Pantaleão decided to become a priest or died without leaving offspring, the entail would be transmitted to his brother, Fernando Valadares.
Will chart by which Berengária Gil de Carvalho, colaça do Duque de Bragança, widow of Rui Gonçalves de Castelo Branco, bequeathed all her estate to her nephew, Diogo Lopes, estudante de Direito Canónico, determining that he should build a chapel in the convent of S. Domingos of Benfica, in which her body and her husband's remains had to be buried. Diogo Lopes had to entail to it assets appraised at 10 000 réis, whose revenues would support the celebration of a perpetual daily mass. The institutor declared that the friars had to ask the King for permission to administrate the chapel and its assets. If they were not allowed to administrate it, the entail would be inherited by Diogo Lopes and his descendants, who had permission to bury their remains in the family mausoleum. The first chaplain would be priest João Tibério, who would be succeeded by those appointed by his executors.

If he doesn't appoint anyone, their son António da Gama will succeed, and then his eldest son. If he has no descendants, the entail shall be given to his brother, Fernando Soeiro, and his successors.

She would be succeeded by her nephew, Francisco de Freitas, who would transmit it to his eldest son. For the first entail he entailed several properties in the islands of São Jorge, Pico and Faial, and a estate named Quinta de São Pedro, with a perpetual mass obligation of a weekly mass in the church of N. Sra. de Nazaré built on the same state, where a monument in his homenage should be built declaring that he participated on the battles of Arzila, Azamor, Afnul, Benegisna, in Persia and Almedina. For the second entail he entailed several properties in Terceira island, in Cabo da Praia, mount Brasil and a state in Lajes, also with a perpetual mass obligation with a weekly mass preached on the chapel of Jesus, that he was building in the main church of Angra. Both the entails had identical obligations, and António Pires should choose which one he would have, and João da Silva should have the other one. Both should be succeeded by their eldest sons, preferably male, and each administrator should annex 2/3 of his own reserved portion (terça) to the entail. The administrators should also use the surname "do Canto" or lose the administration. He also appoints Francisco da Silva, his illegitimate son, to succeed him on the administration of the chapel founded by Vasco Afonso, vicar of Machico, island of Madeira.

Beatriz, Duquesa de Bragança. The institutor gave a public debt instrument to that convent, which would provide for 3 nuns every year. Followed by a declaration deed issued on 1626-05-20.

The administrators of the chapel would be obliged to ensure that burial, or transfer of their bodies, should they die elsewhere, under penalty of losing the administration. They had built the chapel and endowed it with ornaments and vestments, after signing a contract with D. Frei João de Portugal, bishop of Viseu, later updated between the founders and the Chapter. The chapel was to have four chaplains, two appointed by each administrator. They entail various assets to fulfill the charges. For administrators, on behalf of Lourenço Coelho Leitão, they nominate João Gomes Leitão, his nephew, and on the part of Ana Cardoso de Távora, Manuel Homem Cardoso, his nephew. Together, they also nominate the provider of Misericórdia of Viseu. João Gomes Leitão was to be succeeded by the founder's closest male relative, who lived in the city of Viseu, with his priority descendants. Manuel Homem Cardoso was to be succeeded by a male descendant. If he didn't have them, the administration would pass to Constantino Moreira, his brother. Lourenço Coelho Leitão also administered an entail, instituted by his father, who had entailed Cotão's farm, among other properties, appointing, according to the institution, João Gomes Leitão, his nephew, to administer it. He attaches assets to this entail, also for the institution's fulfillment. Doutor Bonifácio Martins Homem, father of Ana Cardoso de Távora, had left, in his will, an entail with a third of his assets, which his daughter had to administer, with the obligation to also entailed the third part of her assets. However, having spent the whole third of his possessions in the fulfillment of legates, the entail could not be established. She, however, entails assets of her third, for the institution of this entail. She appoints Manuel Homem Cardoso, son of Dionísio Homem Cardoso, her cousin, to administer it.

Will chart by which João da Costa expresses his wish to be buried near his parents, in Faial, Vila Franca do Campo, or in the main church of the place where he dies, and bequeaths all of his remaining properties to his siblings, Gaspar Manuel and Briolanja Manuel, to be divided in two parts, each of them with an obligation of half of that chapel, to be prayed in the church where he is buried.
