Will (extract) of father Miguel da Fonseca, by which he declared that he wished to institute a chapel in the hermitage of Santa Ana, with the perpetual obligation of a daily mass. The testator left "um conto de réis" to be entailed. He appointed his niece Ângela da Fonseca, married to Gabriel de Araújo de Vasconcelos, as the first administrator, followed by her descendants, with the right to appoint one of her children as her successor. If she failed to do so, preference would be given to first-born sons. If they had no descendants, the entail would go to another of the founder's nieces, Mariana da Fonseca, or finally to his natural daughter, Marta da Fonseca. The administrators were obliged to use the family name and had to report to the Juízo dos Resíduos every three years on the correct celebration of the prescribed masses.

Domingos of Lisboa. After her mother's death, the entail should be inherited by the eldest son of the institutor. The testator declares that her remains and her father's bones should be buried in that church.

Beatriz de Castro administered a chapel instituted by Helena de Brito, her aunt, for which she also appoints Francisco Carneiro de Brito, her son, ordering him to annex it to the chapel she instituted with her husband.

Will (extract) made in Pernambuco by Cristóvão de Barros Rego in which he ordered the foundation of an entail composed of one of his sugar mills named São Bento and Nossa Senhora da Conceição, with all of its lands, cattle and slaves, and also by an urban ground in Olinda, over which he imposed the perpetual obligation of one weekly mass celebrated in every monday, as long as the world lasted, in the chapel of Nossa Senhora of Boa Vista. To administrate the entail he named his grandson Cristóvão de Barros Rego, son of Manuel da Mota Silveira and his daughter Catarina de Barros, as first administrator during his lifetime, and, after his death, the succession should always continue, preferably, on the eldest male heir. If Cristóvão had no heirs, the administration would be handled to his younger brothers, and if none of them had children, the entail would be administrated by the son of Simão Pereira Barbosa and Maria do Rego. If none of these alternative lines of succession produced male heirs, only then the administration would be given to the female heirs of Manuel da Mota Silveira and Catarina de Barros. The administrator would be obliged to give a wage worth 50.000 réis to the chaplain of Nossa Senhora da Boa Vista.

Ana Durenha will have the capacity of appointing her eldest son or daughter as the entail's next administrator, and it shall thereafter be in possession of their successors. Na falta de geração, o instituidor determina que passaria ao filho Gaspar Mendes e descendentes, não tendo filhos ficaria à filha do testador, Maria de Vasconcelos. Não tendo esta filhos, ficaria a outra filha e não havendo descendentes ao parente mais chegado. O administrador ficaria com o remanescente do morgado, uma vez cumpridos os legados.
BENS VINCULADOS: terça imposta no chão que o testador houve das freiras, no engenho que fora de Álvaro Anes.
SUB-ROGAÇÃO DE BENS: a verba declaratória (fl. 96 v.º), datada de 21-05-1850, situa esta fazenda na Quinta dos Reis, Freguesia do Monte, e avalia-a em 367.500 réis. After the latter's death, it was to be administered by any grandson of Guiomar Pacheco, his sister, who was a cleric. If there is a positive sentence for him, or his daughter and heir, D. Maria, in the "Belas case", then his body shall be transfered to the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Conceição of Idanha, where another of his daughters, D. Branca, is buried, with the same obligation of masses, and two merceeiras. If they lose the case, he will be buried in the chapel of his grandparents.

Domingos of Lisboa. She appoints her cousin, D. Beatriz de Freitas, as the entail's first administrator, with the purpose of enabling her wedding with Jerónimo de Brito Caldeira, Helena's stepson. If their marriage left no issue, the entail should be inherited by the close relatives of Helena, from her mother's side. D. Beatriz was also obligated to support the institutor's three sisters, who were nuns in the convent of Chelas, during their lifetime. She chooses to be buried in the church of the convent of S. Domingos.

Will (extract) by which Francisco de Barros de Paiva, husband of D. Maria da Guerra, establishes an entail with the third part of his properties. He bequeaths it to his eldest son, Jorge de Barros, and to his successors thereafter, under the condition that they shall keep the family name Barros, order an annual divine office for his soul in his burial place and add the third part of their thirds to the entail. If Jorge de Barros has already died at the time of his father's death, the entail shall be inherited by his younger brother, João de Barros. If João de Barros has also already died, it shall go to their cousin, Francisco de Barros. He asks that his wife and executors add to his third part his casal in Loures, his houses in Rua Nova, Lisboa, a public debt instrument of 100 000 reis or his farmstead in quinta da Fonte da Telha, whichever is better. He also orders that his son, when he becomes an adult, add his legitime to the entail, together with the third part of his third.
