Will chart through which Guiomar Leitão Moniz establishes two entails, with lands (casais) she owned in the outskirts of Torres Vedras. She appoints her sister, Francisca Moniz, Luís Nicolau's wife, to be the first administrator of one of them. After Francisca's death, it would be inherited by her son, Egas Moniz.
She also appoints her niece, Violante Moniz, to be the first administrator of the other entail, which should be inherited by her descendants. If Violante died childless, it would pass to Francisca's son, Egas Moniz. Both her sister and her niece, and their successors, are obligated to support the celebration of annual masses in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. The institutor declares that her body should be buried in that church. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1598-05-25.

Will chart by which Maria Fernandes Marouco, Manuel Vaz Mimoso's widow, establishes eight entails for her nephews and nieces, each one with an obligation of two annual masses.
The first one was composed of the houses where the institutor lived, in Castelo de Vide and was to be administered by Jorga, her niece, and afterwards by her daughters.
The second one was composed of other houses in Castelo de Vide and was to be administered by Maria Vivas and Leonor Fernandes, and afterwards by their children.
The third one was composed of a land in Alpalhão, and was to be administered by Isabel Freire, and afterwards by her children.
The fourth one was composed of a vineyard in Cruz da Tapada and was to be administered by Maria Mourato, and afterwards by her children.
The fifth one was composed of a land in Ameixieira, which the institutor had inherited from her father, and was to be administered by Jorge Vaz, who would be succeded by his sons.
The sixth one was composed of another farmland and was to be administered by Jorge Afonso and Álvaro Fernandes, who would be succeeded by their children.

Will chart by which Diogo Rodrigues de Lisboa expresses his wish to be buried in the convent of S. Francisco de Lisboa, in a chapel of the invocation of Nossa Senhora das Candeias, which shall be the head of the entail he and his wife, Jerónima Lopes, established for their daughter, Leonor Jerónima. He also declares they had established another entail for their second daughter, Maria Manuel, with an obligation of giving 6 000 reis to the building of the chapel and the same obligations of masses as her sister.
Followed by approval deed, issued in the same day, and opening deed, issued in the following day.

Will chart by which António Carvalho bequeaths his farmstead (quinta) of Calhariz to his wife, Margarida das Neves, with the obligation of using half of its revenues to celebrate masses in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. If his wife remarried, the entail would be administered by Felício Rodrigues, who António appointed as executor of his will. He chooses to be buried in the church of the referred convent.

Will chart made by padre Gabriel Francisco Tavares, in which he ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of masses celebrated every year in Amieira. The institutor named padre Manuel Tavares, his nephew, as first administrator during his lifetime and, after his death, he would be succeeded by Sabina Tavares and from there on the succession should continue, preferably, on the eldest male heir. If any of them were named Gabriel, would take precedence over the others.

Will chart by which Catarina da Silva, António Gonçalves de Gusmão's widow, founded an entail with the pious obligation of celebrating two masses, every week, in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. She entailed her houses in Rua dos Escudeiros, in Lisboa, bequeathing them to her niece, Guiomar Cabeia. If her niece died before the institutor, the entail's first administrator should be, instead, D. Luísa da Gama, her other niece. She chose to be buried in the grave where lied her late husband, which was by the chapel of Santa Catarina de Siena, in the church of the said convent. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1589-07-06.

Will chart made by António de Torres Manso and his wife Maria de Almeida. They express their wish to be buried in their chapel in the convent of Nossa Senhora da Conceição of Castelo de Vide. They entail the fourth part of their assets to the entail instituted by António's parents and by Baltasar Manso and appoint António de Torres Manso, their son, to administer it. The testators also annex to this entail a chapel inherited on the death of Ravasco, their nephew.

The institutor named Maria Eugénia Manso, his wife, as first administrator of this entail and, after her death, the entail was to be attached to the one founded by his ancestors, of which he was the administrator. António de Torres, his son, was to succeed him.

She institutes the pious obligation of 10 masses to be celebrated, each year, in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa, appointing her grandson, Pedro Borges Côrte-Real, as the entail's first administrator. She chooses to be buried in the church of the referred convent, in the grave where lied Jerónima Vaz, her late daughter. Vicente, bequeaths houses in Lisboa to his wife, Margarida Jorge, obligating her to use its revenues to celebrate 5 annual masses for his soul and the soul of Incensa Nunes, his first wife. He declares that his remains should be buried inside the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. Followed by two declarations signed by the testator, written on the same date, through which he revokes his previous wills and by an approval deed issued on August of 1600.

Will chart made in Santiago de Cabo Verde by Rui Baraça, Tesoureiro da Sé, in which he ordered the foundation of two entails. The first entail would be composed of the farm of São Domingos, with it's sugar, cotton and subsistance plantations, thirty cows and also seven enslaved persons, over which he imposed a perpetual pious obligation of one mass celebrated every week as long as the world lasted, naming Fernando de Fontes, licenciado, to administrate it during his lifetime, and, before his death, he would appoint one of his children to suceed him with the same conditions. The second entail would be composed of some cotton plantations, 77 cows and also ten enslaved persons, over which he imposed a perpetual pious obligation of one mass celebrated in every week as long as the world lasted, and to to administrate it he named his nephew Miguel, son of his niece Filipa Olália, with the condition that he would study and become a priest. After the death of Miguel, the administration would then be handled to his mother or to the eldest relative of her lineage, where it should remain. If anyone of the entailed cattle and slaves were sold, died or run away, the administrators of both chapels would be obliged to replace them immediatly, in order to keep their numbers as disposed on this will.

They appointed Margarida to be the first administrator during her lifetime and, after her death, she shall be succeeded by her eldest male son.

Will chart by which D. Cecília Henriques, wife of D. Jerónimo de Castro, expresses her wish to be buried in the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Piedade of the monastery of Santo Elói of Lisboa. She entails her properties, including her farmstead in Turcifal, Torres Vedras, with the obligation of a daily mass for her soul in her burial place. She bequeaths them to the Condessa, who gave them to her, and after her death to her own daughter, D. Joana, and to her female successors. If her daughter doesn't have any children, the entail shall pass to her brother, D. Fernando, and to his female successors.

Will chart made by Aparício Domingues in which he ordered the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of masses celebrated every year in the church of São Pedro of Évora. He appointed João Lobo to be the first administrator during his lifetime and, after his death, he shall be succeeded by his legitimate son. João Lobo immediately receives the administration and returns it to Aparício Domingues.

Will chart by which D. Leonor Chaínho, Lisuarte de Aragão de Sousa's widow, bequeaths vineyards in Amora to Maria, her freed slave, obligating her to celebrate annual masses for her soul in the church of that place. After Maria's death, it must be inherited by Leonor's goddaughter, Incensa.
The testator establishes another entail with her farmstead (quinta) of Barroca, in Almada, which she bequeaths to the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa with the obligation of celebrating annual masses in its church, where her body should be buried. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1507-04-02, and an opening deed issued on 1597-04-08.

Will chart by which Guiomar Soares leaves part of her houses in Calçada Íngreme to her servants, the sisters Antónia Ferreira and Brígida Ferreira, with the obligation of paying for a perpetual mass for her soul at the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa. If the servants didn’t accomplish it, the houses should be pass to Luísa, Roque Gomes and Beatriz Calada’s daughter, and to her heirs with the same charge. The testator gives other options and conditions, affirming that whoever is nominated to succeed in this property must respect the pious obligation. Guiomar Soares orders her burial at this convent, and she also establishes another entail appointing her husband Gaspar Afonso as administrator.
Followed by an approval deed (dated 1585-08-29) and a certificate of an opening deed of will (dated 1589-08-07).

Will chart by which Gonçalo Eanes, raçoeiro das igrejas de S. Tiago e de S. Martinho de Lisboa, bequeaths properties in Arruda dos Vinhos and Vale do Grou to his compadre, Fernando Eanes, barbeiro, with the obligation of celebrating 50 annual masses in the churches of S. Tiago and of Santa Maria of Arruda dos Vinhos. After the first administrator's death, the entail would be transmitted to a son chosen by him.
The testator establishes another entail with a vineyard in Vale do Grou, leaving it to his godson, João Fernandes, tabelião, obligating him and his successors to celebrate masses in the church of Santa Maria of Arruda dos Vinhos for his soul and for the soul of Leonor Fernandes.
He leaves houses in Lisboa to Margarida Eanes, his relative, with the obligation of supporting the celebration of masses for his soul in the church of S. Tiago, where the testator's remains would be buried. The entail should be inherited by her descendants.

Will chart by which Leonor Boroa, wife of Manuel Rodrigues, expresses her wish to be buried in the church of the monastery of Nossa Senhora da Serra, near her mother. She bequeaths her rents in Monte das Pedras to her daughter, Maria Boroa, with an obligation of 12 annual masses.

Will chart by which Martinho Lopes de Ataíde established a chapel, entailing to it all his remaining assets and appointing his daughter, Isabel do Couto, to become its first administrator. She and her successors had to support the celebration of a daily perpetual mass for the institutor's soul in the chapel of Nossa Senhora of the convent of S. Domingos of Elvas, where his body would be buried. She was obligated to give 200 000 réis to her brother, Manuel, if he ever returned to Elvas. The entail should be transmitted to Isabel's descendants, but if she left no heirs it would be administrated by a priest who would celebrate the annual masses. If the priest did not belong to the institutor's family, the entail would be administrated by a clergyman elected by the Provedor de Elvas. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1603-11-22.

Will chart by which D. Maria de Vilhena, Simão da Silveira's widow, established a chapel of 3 daily perpetual masses, which would be celebrated in the main chapel of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Évora. She appointed Jerónimo de Carvalho, her uncle, and Sancho de Faria, her nephew, to administrate it, leaving a public debt instrument of 100 000 réis and a rent (foro) of wheat taken from properties in Moura, Beja and Évora to support the pious obligations. The administrators had to erect a chapel in that convent, where a family mausoleum would be built. All the properties she left to her uncle and a public debt instrument of 14 000 given to Madalena Mendes, her ama, would end up being passed to Sancho de Faria and entailed to the chapel. The latter would leave all the entailed assets to his eldest son.
She left a public debt instrument of 100 000 réis to the Misericórdia of Évora, obligating its brothers to provide for poor men and to give dowries to orphan girls every year.
The institutor established another entail with the properties that she inherited after her parents' death, which her brother, Pedro de Tovar, held from her. She appointed her nephew, Sancho de Tovar, to administrate it and declared that it should be transmitted to his descendants. The testator determined that her body had to be buried in the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, inside the grave of her late husband. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1562-10-23.

Will chart by which Diogo Travassos Vieira expresses his wish to be buried in his parents' tomb in the church of S. Lourenço of Maiorga. He bequeaths his third part, consisting of farmlands and mills, to his wife, D. Maria Pereira da Silva, as an entail, with the obligation of five annual masses for his soul. After her death the entail shall pass to their son, Pedro Travassos Barba, and to his successors afterwards.

Will chart by which Manuel Freire, son of André Godinho, expresses his wish to be buried in the church of the monastery of Nossa Senhora do Espinheiro of Évora, where his family is buried. He entails his estate of Vila Fria and bequeaths it to his daughters, Catarina Mendes and Isabel Freire, and to their descendants, with an obligation of 10 annual masses over his burial place. If they both don't have descendants, the entail shall pass to Manuel's brother or to their closest relative.

Will chart by which Belchior Gueifão left all his assets, including an olive grove in Sardoal, to his wife, Ana Dinis, declaring that, after her death, they should be transmitted to his great-nephew, Belchior Gueifão, Francisco de Parada and Isabel Dinis' son. Those properties should never be sold or exchanged, and had to be passed to the eldest son of his great-nephew with the obligation of celebrating 5 annual masses for the institutor's soul. If his great-nephew died before leaving descendants, the entail would be administrated by one of his brothers or sisters. The testator declares that his body would be buried in the convent of Nossa Senhora of Sardoal. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1606-05-28.

Will chart by which Catarina Lopes, widow of Diogo Lopes, o Galego, expresses her wish to be buried in the monastery of Santo Onofre of Golegã, where her uncle, Jerónimo Lourenço, is buried. She bequeaths her third part as an entail to her grandson, Diogo Lopes, son of her son Francisco Lopes de Barros, who will be his tutor during his minority. He will have the obligation of ordering a daily mass for her soul in her burial place. If her legacy isn't fulfiled, the entail shall pass to the Misericórdia of Golegã.

Will chart by which D. Joana de Macedo, António de Sousa's widow, established a chapel, entailing to it a rent (foro) of wheat and barley extracted from properties in Évora ("herdade da Fonte Boa"). She designated her nephew, Ascenso de Sequeira de Macedo, to administrate it, determining that him and his descendants had to support the celebration of a daily perpetual mass in the convent of Santa Maria do Espinheiro, where her body should be buried next to her husband's remains; and a mass, every year, in the church of Misericórdia. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1566-05-20.

Will chart by which Quitéria Dias, João Gonçalves' widow, establishes an entail with houses and mills in Lisboa, vineyards in Campolide and houses in Charneca, appointing her son, Vicente Dias, to be its first administrator. He and his descendants are obligated to support the celebration of 22 annual masses for her soul in a church to be chosen by the former. The testator declares that her body should be buried in the church of Santa Justa of that city, inside the grave where are buried her husband and their children.

Will chart by which Maria Luís, António da Fonseca Pestana's wife, bequeaths houses in S. Miguel de Alfama, which her first husband, Bernardo de Abreu, had left her with the obligation of celebrating annual masses for his soul in the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa, to Serafina de Abreu, his niece.
She also bequeaths houses in Rua dos Cabides to her husband, asking him to give them to Violante da Fonseca, his daughter, at the time of her marriage, on the condition that she and its future owners would support the celebration of annual masses in that convent. Those houses could be sold. Nevertheless, the testator declares that, if Violante da Fonseca dies childless, the entailed houses should be inherited by the eldest male relative of the former.
She declares that her body must be buried in that convent, inside the grave where lies her first husband. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1599-09-11 and an opening deed issued on 1601-07-12.

Will chart made by Pedro Alves, homem que vivia de sua fazenda, and his wife, Inês Brás. The former left the third part of his assets, including vineyards and lands in Rossais to his wife, ordering her to fulfil various legacies. After the death of his wife, that estate should be delivered to his niece, Vitória do Rego, with the obligation of supporting the celebration of 56 annual masses for his soul in the church of S. João Batista of Lumiar. If those assets were sold, the pious obligation had to go with them.
The testators left lands in Albogas to Maria Brás, Inês' sister, with the obligation of celebrating 2 masses, every year, for their souls in the church of Almargem do Bispo.
They also left a rent (foro) in a vineyard to João Gonçalves, their brother-in-law, and his wife, obligating them to celebrate an annual mass for their souls in an unidentified church. After their deaths, the entail would be inherited by their daughter, Maria.
Inês Brás determined that, after the death of her husband, all her assets had to be delivered to her nephew, Duarte, who would be responsible for celebrating, each year, 57 masses in the church of S. João Batista. If he died before receiving that inheritance, it would pass to Santos, another nephew of Inês Brás.
The testators declared that their bodies would be buried in the church of S. João Batista of Lumiar. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1569-08-30.

Will chart by which Isabel Afonso, widow of João Pires, expresses her wish to be buried in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. She orders her executors to buy properties with the remaining part of her assets to entail to an obligation of masses for her soul in her burial place. She appoints Diogo Vaz and João de Quintanilha as her heirs and executors. They shall both administer her chapel and entail and shall appoint their successors among their children and heirs. Salvador, Lisboa, of which he is the administrator, as heir of his brother, Jorge Fernandes de Elvas. He orders the acquisition of a rent or of a public debt instrument to entail to an obligation of weekly masses to be ordered in this chapel. He declares he won't fulfil the instructions his brother left him in a memory written after his will, dated 1618, regarding the annexation of certain properties to the entail founded by his father and grandfather, since those instructions would disinherit him. He orders the annexation of the improvements he made in the houses of this entail to be considered as the third part of his third which, according to the institution, should be annexed to it. He also orders the annexation of more properties in case there are still debts left by his brother or himself to the entail.
He establishes an entail with the remaining part of his third part, which he bequeaths to his minor daughter, Mariana. He appoints his wife, D. Maria de Lima, as tutor of their daughter during her minority. This entail shall be joined to the ones he already possessed. He annexes to it his houses and a public debt instrument in Elvas and orders the sale of other properties to acquire more assets.

She bequeaths farmlands in the parish of Sete Cidades to her sister-in-law, Ana Fernandes, widow, to pass to one of her children, with the perpetual obligation of ordering five annual masses for her soul either in the chapel of São João of the Misericórdia of Ponta Delgada or in the convent of S. Francisco. She bequeaths her step-mother, Catarina Dinis, a land in Lagoa, with the obligation of ordering an annual mass for her and her father's souls. After Catarina Dinis' death, it shall pass to Amador Travassos, Violante's cousin, and afterwards to his descendants, with the same obligation. She also bequeaths the house in Ponta Delgada where Gabriel Coelho lives to his daughters, Catarina Coelho and Isabel Correia, with the obligation of ordering a chapel of masses for her son's soul in the chapel of São João of the Misericórdia, where he was buried. After their deaths it shall pass to the Misericórdia of Ponta Delgada, with the same obligation.

For the first entail he entailed several properties in the islands of São Jorge, Pico and Faial, and a estate named Quinta de São Pedro, with a perpetual mass obligation of a weekly mass in the church of N. Sra. de Nazaré built on the same state, where a monument in his homenage should be built declaring that he participated on the battles of Arzila, Azamor, Afnul, Benegisna, in Persia and Almedina. For the second entail he entailed several properties in Terceira island, in Cabo da Praia, mount Brasil and a state in Lajes, also with a perpetual mass obligation with a weekly mass preached on the chapel of Jesus, that he was building in the main church of Angra. Both the entails had identical obligations, and António Pires should choose which one he would have, and João da Silva should have the other one. Both should be succeeded by their eldest sons, preferably male, and each administrator should annex 2/3 of his own reserved portion (terça) to the entail. The administrators should also use the surname "do Canto" or lose the administration. He also appoints Francisco da Silva, his illegitimate son, to succeed him on the administration of the chapel founded by Vasco Afonso, vicar of Machico, island of Madeira.

Úrsula Maria under the suspicion of being betrayed by her, which he discovered later it was not true. Finally, he declared that his wife made him a donation of all her father's assets, namely a farm and houses in Lisboa, with the obligation to celebrate masses, and that he wanted to incorporate into the chapel of his father-in-law a public debt instrument of 20 000 réis in Mesa da Imposição dos Vinhos.

Sebastião, in Ponta Delgada, where his body should be buried, next to his parent's grave. He named his wife Beatriz Soares to administrate the entail until his son Manuel Chaves comes of age. After the death of Manuel Chaves, the succession should always continue on the eldest male heir. However, if Manuel had no children, the administration should be given to his nun daughter [whose name is not mentioned] during her life, and after her death his nephew Baltasar and his brother Gaspar. If none had descendants, the administration should be given to the closest relative of the generation of his mother, Madalena Fernandes.

The charges were to be celebrated in the church of Seiça. The same clauses had to be fulfilled for the institution of the entail of the Quinta de Pedrógão.

Sra. do Rosário. He appointed his nephew Pedro de Faria as first administrator of the entail and always, preferably, the eldest male heir after him. If Pedro dies without descendants, the administration should be given to António de Faria or the closest relative. He ordered that the administrator should give yearly 1 000 cruzados to the Confraria de Nossa Senhora do Rosário and 10 cruzados to his poorest relatives. He ordered that all the administrators should bear the surname "Faria" or otherwise lose the administration. Finally, he recommended that his nephews should always nourish friendship between them and with the people of Lagoa, conserving the manners of the land and not those of their original lan, Vila do Conde. He also mentioned that his father founded a chapel in Vila do Conde and therefore the administrator of this newly founded entail should administrate both of them.

Will chart made by António Lopes de Faria in which he ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of an entail with a perpetual obligation of 26 masses celebrated yearly for his soul and for the soul of his deceased wife Ana de Pimentel. He named his daughter Maria de Pimentel as first administrator and before her death she would choose one of her brothers or nephews to succeed her. He also appointed her as administrator of the entail founded by his uncle António de Faria.

Will chart of Damião Dias Magro, ordering his grave in the cathedral of Évora, if he died in the city, or in the church of Misericórdia of Alvito, if he died in that place. He institutes a chapel in the church of Misericórdia of Alvito, entailing assets to fulfill the charges. He appoints Tomás, son of Maria Magro, his niece, as administrator, if he were a clergyman. The administrators were supposed to be clerics, descendants of Maria Magro, excluding, however, Damião Dias Magro and Pedro de Lemos. If the descendants were extinguished, the administration would fall to the deão of the cathedral of Évora.

Will chart by which D. Isabel Lobo, widow, expresses her wish to be buried in the convent of S. Francisco de Xabregas. She establishes a chapel with a daily mass in that convent, entailing to it two properties in Montemor-o-Novo. She bequeaths them, with other properties and money, to her criada, Rufina de Monsalva, and to her criada's husband, Simão de Évora, her feitor.

Will chart by which Martinho Ferreira, Escudeiro da Casa do Rei, and his wife, Violante Lourenço, establish an entail with all their assets, including houses in Lisboa and the farmstead (quinta) of Malapados. After the death of one of them, the spouse who survives should administer it and assure, each year, the preparation of two feasts for 24 poor people, which must happen on Holy Thursday and on Pentecost. They declare that their bodies should be buried in the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1468-05-19 and an opening deed issued on 1469-01-18.

Will chart by which Vasco Lourenço, mercador, and Isabel Afonso, his wife, establish a shelter for poor people in the houses they own in Lisboa. They entail to it lands (casais) in Sintra, Cascais and Olivais, whose revenues should also support the celebration of annual masses in the church of S. Nicolau of Lisboa, where their bodies would be buried. After the death of one of the members of the couple, the surviving one should become the shelter's administrator, passing it to Estêvão Pires, alfaiate. He is bound to transmit it to his eldest son. Francisco of Ponta Delgada and appointing Vasco Caldeira as administrator and, after his death, Duarte Borges and his successors. Álvaro da Costa also appoints his nephew, Duarte Borges, as administrator and his successor in the available portions and chapels of his father and grandfather; Manuel da Costa, his brother; and Margarida Mendes, his aunt. He mentions that he has a land entailed to the chapel of Beatriz da Costa, his cousin, which will be administrated after his death by the daughter of Beatriz da Costa and her offspring.

Will chart of Francisco Gonçalves Vila Chã and Maria Gonçalves, his wife. They declare they had signed a contract, in 1604-03-26, with the provedor of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Azurara, reserving the income from several properties for the construction of the chancel of that church and hospital expenses. They now entail those properties as a chapel and appoint Maria Tomé, as the first administrator. A daughter was to succeed her, with females taking precedence in administration.
They institute another entail with properties located in the outskirts of Prado which shall be used to purchase olive oil and wax for the Santíssimo Sacramento of the convent of São Francisco of Azurara. They appoint Maria Carneiro as the first administrator, to be succeeded by her daughter, Ana.
They also institute a chapel dedicated to Nossa Senhora, on the altar of Piedade in the Convent of São Francisco de Azurara, and appoint Justa as the first administrator, to be succeded by one of her children.

Will chart by which Jerónimo Vieira da Maia and his wife Isabel wanted to be buried in the convent of Santo António Extramuros, in Évora. The couple bequest all their assets to each other, after the legacies have been fulfilled. After the death of Jerónimo Vieira da Maia, the assets of D. Isabel should be entailed to a chapel, for the fulfillment of the pious charges in the church of São Mamede of Évora and should be administrated by her nephew Pedro Simões and by his eldest son afterwards. After the death of D. Isabel, half of the assets of Jerónimo Vieira da Maia, valued at 35 000 réis, should be entailed to the chapel in the church of São Mamede of Évora, and should be administrated by Águeda, daughter of Sebastião Fernandes and Isabel Mendes, "criada" , and then by her eldest son.

She founded a chapel in this church, incorporating a farm on the outskirts of Torres Vedras. The institutor designated Josefa Rebelo, daughter of Maria de Gouveia, niece of the institutor, to be its first administrator. She also bequeathed to her cousin Mécia Cardoso, wife of Manuel de Beça, a public debt instrument, establishing another entail.

Will chart by which Bartolomeu Baião and his wife Maria Fernandes established an entail, incorporating immovable goods in order to fulfill the pious charges in the Church of Salvador de Serpa. Bartolomeu Baião designated the priest Sebastião Afonso to be the first administrator of his part of the chapel. The administrator should choose another priest to succeed him. Maria Fernandes designated her niece Maria Dias to be the first administrator and determined that her niece's husband, Manuel Paulo, should succeed her, followed by their eldest son or daughter.

She instituted a chapel,entailing a fourth part of her assets, namely a house in the Praça and an olive grove at Fonte da Figueira, to fulfill of charges. She appoints Álvaro Fernandes, her son, first administrator. It was up to the administrator to choose the son he wanted to succeed him.
