The houses may be sold but must always have the pious obligations entailed to them.

Will (extract) in which Catarina Gil and Jorge Lopes establish pious charges for their souls and for other family members in the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa. They refer to the masses they were already fulfilling for the souls of Afonso Eanes "Cazambuco", João Gil and Beatriz Pires, who were Catarina Gil’s great-grandfather, father and mother respectively. The couple entails the pious obligations to three orchards they had in Várzea, referring that part of those orchards were already obligated to the pious charges instituted by Catarina’s mother Beatriz Pires, in her will. After the testators’ death, these properties would be bequeathed to their daughter Juliana Landim, with the pious obligations. They establish in detail the conditions and the pious charges the administrators of this property should have and they detail the options of succession. After Juliana Landim, their goddaughter Juliana Raposo, Brás Raposo’s daughter or a relative of Catarina’s father João Gil should succeed, passing the administration preferably to the older sons.

Extract of the will made by Gomes Pamplona de Miranda in which he ordered the foundation of an entail, composed of assets in Terceira island, with a perpetual obligation of one mass celebrated every week for his soul and 12 more masses celebrated every year for the soul of his father António Pamplona de Miranda. He named his wife as first administrator of the entail with the condition that if she married a second time the administration should be given to their son João de Ornelas, who would in anyway inherit after her death, and his first born male sons after him. If João de Ornelas died without heirs, the administration should be transmitted to the closest relative of his mother's or aunts or cousins bloodline, and if there were relatives in equivalent condition to receive the administration, he decided that the poorest should administrate the entail. He disposed that every administrator should bare the surname "Borges" or lose the administration, and also give 10 alqueires of wheat to two poor woman, with the condition that each of them would pray a rosary in memory of his soul.

Followed by a note explaining that the houses entailed to this chapel were demolished by order of the king and replaced by a farmstead in Loures, according to a consignation letter and sentence from 1748.

He named his niece Branca de Sá to administrate the entail, and one of her nephews, sons of Garcia de Andrade and Fernando Gomes de Tapia, to succeed her on the administration, with the same condition of appointing the next administrator by the time of his death. Every administrator of the entail had the obligation of marrying an orphan girl every year.

He named his wife Isabel Gonçalves as first administrator and their son João Rodrigues after her, and after his death he and all administrators should be succeeded by the eldest heir, male or female. If the bloodline was extinguished, the Misericórdia should administrate the entail.

Will (extract) by which Pedro Jaques de Magalhães established an entail, designating his eldest son Manuel Jaques de Magalhães to be its first administrator. He declared that he and his wife Dona Maria Vicência de Vilhena were contracted by a dowry deed to use their thirds for an entail's foundation. The administrator was due to order the celebration of masses for his and his wife's soul wherever he wanted. If the administrator died childless, it should succeed their daughter Dona Antónia de Vilhena and her heirs or, in her absence, the other daughters Dona Violante de Vilhena and or Dona Brites da Silva. All of the entail's administrators were obligated to incorporate half of their thirds into this entail, but the first administrator is obligated to incorporate the paternal and maternal "legítimas". The institutor is also the administrator of the Morgado da Bordeira, and for that reason their heirs should also succeed in this entail. This entail is composed of houses in "Poço dos Negros", located in Lisboa.

He confirms the institution of an entail which he had established with his first wife in a previous will, entailing to it all his properties in Azambuja, Lisboa and Corroios. He appoints as his heir António Malheiro, his second son from his second marriage, since his first born son from this marriage, José Malheiro de Melo, had died during the writing of the will. His son shall marry one of his cousins, daughter of Gaspar Malheiro, Manuel Malheiro's brother. He establishes an obligation of two daily masses for his own soul and the souls of his two wives. He also explains that he received the two chapels he now possesses from the deão António or Afonso Furtado de Mendonça, who had donated them under the condition that he should build him a tomb in the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Conceição and order a weekly mass for his soul.

She designated her nephew, D. Pedro, son of the Condessa de Vila Real, D. Beatriz de Meneses, to administrate it, obligating him to use her father's family name and coat of arms. During his minority, the entail would be administrated by his mother.
D. Leonor de Meneses ordered the executors of her will to build two graves in that convent where her remains and those of her father, D. Pedro de Meneses, Conde de Viana, would be deposited.
