Will chart made by João Martins and his wife Isabel Rodrigues, in which they ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of forty masses celebrated every year in Arronches. The institutor named Gonçalo Valente, their son, who was to be ordained a cleric, as first administrator during his lifetime. He had to nominate whoever he wanted to succeed him in the administration. If he did not become a cleric, after his death, he would be succeeded by his eldest male son. The first administrator could entail new assets to the chapel and increase the charges.

She appointed Nuno da Fonseca Coutinho to be the first administrator during his lifetime and, after his death, he shall be succeeded by Manuel da Fonseca. After his death, he shall be succeeded by his brothers, from oldest to youngest, preferring males to females.

Will chart by which Luís de Figueiroa Castelo Branco establishes a chapel in the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa with the third part of his assets and part of the patrimony of both his first and second wives, Joana Lopes and Madalena Leitão, including houses in Lisboa. Luís appoints his son, Manuel de Figueiroa, to be its first administrator, obligating him to celebrate masses for his soul and those of his next of kin. He asks his daughter, D. Catarina, and his son to build two graves in that chapel. The first one should receive the remains of the testator and Madalena's. The second was destined to receive the bones of Joana Lopes and her ancestors. Followed by an approval deed, issued on 1599-01-09.

Nicolau, Lisboa, which she had leased to Domingos Eanes, correeiro, to sustain the celebration of annual masses for her soul.

Will chart by which Inês Freire, widow of Manuel Pinto, expresses her wish to be buried in the church of S. Tiago of Montemor-o-Novo, in her ancestors' burial place. She entails her estate of Oliveira and leases in Montemor-o-Novo as a chapel, and bequeaths them to her daughter, D. Francisca da Grã, during the minority of her grandson, Manuel Pinto, with the obligation of ten annual masses over her tomb. If Manuel Pinto dies before his mother, the entail shall pass to his brother, Gonçalo Mendes, or to his other siblings and successors. She also bequeaths her daughter the estate of Caravela, which she had inherited from her brother, António Freire, as an entail, which shall always be joined to her own.

Will chart by which Ana Dinis, Belchior de Gueifão's wife, designated his husband to execute her will and left him all her properties, determining that after his death they would be inherited by her great-niece, Joana Dinis, Fernando Freire and Maria Dinis' daughter. At the time of her death, she had to transmit the assets to her eldest son or daughter and was forbidden to sell or exchange them. If she left no descendants, the entail would be inherited by Catarina, Francisco de Parada and Isabel Dinis' daughter. Its future administrators were obligated to support the celebration of 3 annual masses for the institutors soul. The testator declared that her body would be buried in the convent of Nossa Senhora da Caridade of Sardoal. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1606-05-28.

Will chart by which Licenciado Gil Vaz Parada, clérigo de missa, established an entail with all his properties, including houses and lands in Sardoal ("casal do Alcaide"), designating his sister, Margarida de Parada, to administrate it. She and her descendants were obligated to support the celebration of 12 annual masses for his soul in the main church of that village. After his sister's death, the entail would be transmitted to her eldest legitimate son or daughter. The testator also declared that the entail and chapel instituted by his ancestors should be administrated by António Carvalho, his nephew, Margarida's son. He declared that if he died in Lisboa, his body should be buried according to Cónego Pedro da Fonseca's will.

Will chart by which Nuno Álvares Correia, Cavaleiro da Ordem de Santiago e da Casa do Príncipe, establishes a chapel in the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa, entailing a farmstead (quinta) in Paio Pires and lands (casal) in Azeitão. He designates his brother, Gaspar Correia, to become the entail's first administrator and to transmit it to his eldest son, obligating him and his descendants to support the celebration of a daily mass in the chapel of Santa Maria do Pranto of that convent and to give, each year, 4 000 réis to sustain the ransom of captives in Africa or the dowry of orphan girls. He determines that his body should be buried next to his parent's remains, inside that convent.

Will (extract) by which Vicente Afonso Valente, cónego de Lisboa e prior da igreja de Côja, ordered the executors of his will to give 100 libras taken from the revenues of his properties in Póvoa to an unidentified church. He left all those properties and houses in Lisboa to his brother, Lourenço Afonso, determining that they had to be transmitted to his eldest legitimate son and subsequently passed to his descendants. His brother was asked to give, each year, 100 libras to an unidentified church for the souls of D. Sancha and D. Goutinha, their aunts.

Will (extract) made by Francisco Dias Delgado and his wife Catarina Moreira, in which they have ordered the foundation of an entail and chapel in the convent of Santo António of Ipojuca, devoted to Nossa Senhora da Conceição, with a perpetual pious obligation of two masses celebrated in every week as long as the world lasted. The entail would be composed of a grange that they possessed in Porto de Galinhas, with some fishing sites, houses and also thirty calving cows, that should be perpetually maintained in this quantity. They left detailed instructions for the ornates of the chapel that should have an altarpiece in stone and an image of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, being ornate with the liturgical colors: white, red, purple and green. The administrators would be henceforth obliged to deliver 10.000 réis to the convent in every year in order to sustain the masses and keep the chapel's ornates. To administrate it, they named their son Francisco Dias Delgado during his lifetime and, after his death, the succession should always continue, preferably, on the eldest male heir. If Francisco had no descendants or died before any of the institutors, the administration would be handled to their granddaughter Joana, daughter of their daughter Ana Mendes and António Freire. If she also had no descendants, the administration would be transmitted to their grandson Manuel, son of Maria Barbosa, their daughter. All administrators would be obliged to live in Pernambuco's captaincy or otherwise lose the administration of the entail. They have also appealed to the authorities the Crown and the Church to surveil the fulfillment of the conditions imposed on this will.

She entails all her possessions, located in the outskirts of Évora, for the maintenance of the chapel and the celebration of charges. She appointed Gonçalo, Beatriz Esteves' son, to be the first administrator during his lifetime. In case he was still a minor, the administration would belong, until he came of age, to João Eanes. After Gonçalo's death, he shall be succeeded by Maria Esteves. After her death, her shall be succeeded by her oldest son, male or female.

If his offspring becomes extinct, he declares that he prefers that the entail's administrator should be a scholar. At the time of Isabel's death, the entail shall be bequeathed to her brothers, and after their deaths to Lopo's eldest grandchild, and their successors thereafter. If their lineage is extinguished, the houses shall be bequeathed to the confraria dos mercadores of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, of which Lopo Afonso is a member.

If she failed to do so, preference would be given to first-born sons. To administrate the entail he named his grandson Cristóvão de Barros Rego, son of Manuel da Mota Silveira and his daughter Catarina de Barros, as first administrator during his lifetime, and, after his death, the succession should always continue, preferably, on the eldest male heir. If Cristóvão had no heirs, the administration would be handled to his younger brothers, and if none of them had children, the entail would be administrated by the son of Simão Pereira Barbosa and Maria do Rego. If none of these alternative lines of succession produced male heirs, only then the administration would be given to the female heirs of Manuel da Mota Silveira and Catarina de Barros.
