Will (extract) by which Maria dos Santos ordered the executor of her will to employ 600 000 réis in the acquisition of properties or a public debt instrument, determining that its revenues should be used to support the celebration of a daily perpetual mass for her soul and for the soul of Amador Fernandes, her husband, in the church of Santa Maria Madalena of Lisboa. Thus, she established a chapel, which had to be administrated by her heir and his descendants. If one of the administrators became childless, the entail would be transmitted to the brotherhood of Nossa Senhora das Candeias of that church. The testator also entailed to it a rent (foro) of wheat in a land in Labrugeira, Alenquer.

If, at the time of her death, João has already died or has no male descendants, the entail shall pass to his younger brother, Gonçalo Vaz Barriga.
Followed by a note explaining that the houses entailed to this chapel were demolished by order of the king and replaced by a farmstead in Loures, according to a consignation letter and sentence from 1748.

Will (extract) by which Luís de Barbuda de Melo bequeaths all his assets to Francisco Vieira de Castro, his brother, ordering him to sell them and to buy properties with the purpose of establishing an entail. The testator asks Francisco and his successors to celebrate annual masses in the church of S. Will (extract) by which Pedro Jaques de Magalhães established an entail, designating his eldest son Manuel Jaques de Magalhães to be its first administrator. He declared that he and his wife Dona Maria Vicência de Vilhena were contracted by a dowry deed to use their thirds for an entail's foundation. The administrator was due to order the celebration of masses for his and his wife's soul wherever he wanted. If the administrator died childless, it should succeed their daughter Dona Antónia de Vilhena and her heirs or, in her absence, the other daughters Dona Violante de Vilhena and or Dona Brites da Silva. All of the entail's administrators were obligated to incorporate half of their thirds into this entail, but the first administrator is obligated to incorporate the paternal and maternal "legítimas". The institutor is also the administrator of the Morgado da Bordeira, and for that reason their heirs should also succeed in this entail. This entail is composed of houses in "Poço dos Negros", located in Lisboa.

Will (extract) by which Manuel Malheiro expresses his wish to be buried next to his first wife, D. Isabel Fernandes, and to his second wife, D. Maria Malheiro de Melo, his niece, in the chapels of Santo António and Nossa Senhora da Conceição of the cathedral of Lisboa. He confirms the institution of an entail which he had established with his first wife in a previous will, entailing to it all his properties in Azambuja, Lisboa and Corroios. He appoints as his heir António Malheiro, his second son from his second marriage, since his first born son from this marriage, José Malheiro de Melo, had died during the writing of the will. His son shall marry one of his cousins, daughter of Gaspar Malheiro, Manuel Malheiro's brother. He establishes an obligation of two daily masses for his own soul and the souls of his two wives. He also explains that he received the two chapels he now possesses from the deão António or Afonso Furtado de Mendonça, who had donated them under the condition that he should build him a tomb in the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Conceição and order a weekly mass for his soul.

Will (extract) of Beatriz Eanes, by which she orderd her body to be buried in the monastery of S. Domingos do Porto, in the grave where lied her father António Gomes and her sisters, located in front of the Santíssimo Sacramento and of the bars. She left the rents of the houses where she lived, located in Porta Nova, in Porto, for the perpetual support of the Masses for her soul to be celebrated in the aforementioned convent. His son-in-law, António Gonçalves, was to be the first administrator of this charge, to be followed by his first-born son.

Will (extract) by which D. Ana Maria establishes an entail with her third part, which must be used to buy public debt instruments. She establishes an obligations of 100 masses and one divine office in her chapel in the cathedral of Lisboa, where she wishes to be buried. She appoints her son, Francisco Malheiro, as her heir, bequeathing the usufruct of her properties to her husband, Gaspar Malheiro, until their son marries. If their lineage becomes extinct, the entail shall be administered by the Misericórdia de Lisboa or by the Ordem Terceira de S. Francisco.

Will (extract) by which D. Leonor de Meneses established a chapel in the convent of S. Agostinho of Santarém, entailing to it all her properties in Santarém as well as her farmstead ("quinta do Paraíso") and determining that its revenues should support the celebration of 5 daily perpetual masses and sustain 5 poor people every year. She designated her nephew, D. Pedro, son of the Condessa de Vila Real, D. Beatriz de Meneses, to administrate it, obligating him to use her father's family name and coat of arms. During his minority, the entail would be administrated by his mother.
D. Leonor de Meneses ordered the executors of her will to build two graves in that convent where her remains and those of her father, D. Pedro de Meneses, Conde de Viana, would be deposited. She also asked them to deliver to the heirs of her sister, D. Isabel, assets that were granted to her by the Regent, D. Pedro. If he did not authorize that, the executors had to wait for 2 years and then institute a chapel with those properties. It would be administrated by D. Afonso, D. Isabel and D. Fernando's son, who would have to support the celebration of 5 daily perpetual masses in that convent and provide for 5 poor people.

Will (extract) in which Justa Vaz’s brother establishes entails for his children: Duarte, Martinho and Isabel de Castro do Rio, some of which are funded by money left by his sister. He declares that Justa Vaz appointed him as her universal heir, giving him the usufruct of her assets, during his lifetime, and ordering him to transmit them to one of his children or to divide them among them, forming entails. From the money she left, he thus bequeaths 12 000 cruzados to his son Duarte de Castro do Rio and 8 000 cruzados to this daughter Isabel, to found two entails. If their lineages are extinguished these entails shall be annexed to the entail he founded for his eldest son, Martinho de Castro do Rio, with the same conditions. He also bequeaths 40 000 cruzados to Martinho de Castro do Rio, which shall be annexed to the entail he founded for him. Martinho de Castro do Rio must also buy properties to entail to the obligation of masses established in Justa Vaz's codicil, which shall be administered by the successors of his entail.

Will (extract) by which Diogo Nunes de Vilalobos expresses his wish to be buried under the altar of S. Sebastião of the church of Santo André of Lisboa. He establishes an entail with his houses in that city, his estate of Vale de Diogo, in Évora, and two public debt instruments in the Alfândega de Lisboa, with the obligation of a weekly mass over his tomb. He designates his natural daughter, Catarina de Vilalobos, as his heir. If she dies without successors, the entail shall pass to his niece, Guiomar de Faria, daughter of his brother, Francisco Mendes, and to their descendants. Besides the masses, the administrator of the entail shall also support another daughter of the institutor, Maria de Vasconcelos, nun in the monastery of Santa Mónica de Évora.

Will (extract) by which Diogo Mendes Guterres establishes an entail, incorporating in it houses in Rua das Pedras Negras, Lisboa, lands (casal) in Oeiras and the legitimates which he had inherited from his father, Gomes Dias Guterres, and grandfather, Heitor Mendes de Brito. He appoints his son, Luís Mendes, to be its first administrator and asks the executors of his will to buy a chapel in the convent of S. Bento de Xabregas, where he should be buried and there must be celebrated annual masses for his soul. If the convent does not allow that, the executors are free to make a contract with any available church.

Will (extract) by which António Gomes Pessoa entails the remaining part of his properties with the obligation of a daily mass for his soul. He designates his brother, Luís Pinto, as first administrator, and his children afterwards. If his brother doesn't have successors he can appoint the next administrator among his relatives.

Will (extract) by which Manuel Gonçalves Moreira confirmed that he had entailed several houses in a chapel located in Ribeira, in Rua de Santa Catarina, in order to fulfill the pious charges. After his death, the chapel should be administered by his eldest son, or would be for his brother Simão Francisco Gonçalves Moreira.

Will (extract) by which Francisco Machado expresses his wish of having a chapel and being buried in a convent in Lisboa. He charges his heirs of choosing, contracting with the religious and furnishing the chapel, leaving 2000 cruzados for it, and he gives details about its ornamentation. He leaves 3000 cruzados and orders the purchase of public debt instrument to ensure the fulfilment of a set of pious charges in his chapel, appointing his brother António Machado as administrator.

Will (extract) by which Lopo Sarmento de Carvalho established an entail using his and his late wife Dona Maria de Sequeira's third part, appointing his son Inácio Sarmento de Carvalho to be its first administrator. He was due to order the celebration of masses in the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça, in Lisboa. This entail is composed of a "reguengo" called "Cravoeira", a farm and an orchard located in Lisboa, and public debt instrument of 100 000 réis in Almoxarifado de Torres Novas.

Will (extract) of João do Prado, in which is declared that he had took propeties located in Olivença, next to the monastery of São Francisco, entailing them in a "Morgado" with the obligation to celebrate 6 annual masses. The administration of the entail would pass to the first-born sons.

Will (extract) of Afonso Martins Morgado entailing his houses in Olivença to institute a chapel.

Will (extract) by which Maria Lourenço Gramacho established an entail with her "herdade em Cajola" and an olive grove in the outskirts of Elvas, designating her niece, D. Beatriz, to administrate it. She and her descendants had the obligation of supporting the celebration of 7 annual masses, in honour of the Holy Spirit, in the convent of S. Domingos of Elvas.
The institutor founded another entail with a property (herdade) she owned in the outskirts of Elvas and a vineyard in Varche, appointing her niece Mécia Dias, Diogo Fernandes de Montarroio's wife, to administrate it. All the entail's administrators were obligated to support the celebration of annual masses for the institutor's soul in the convent of S. Domingos.

Will (extract) by Rui Teles de Meneses, instituting an entail with the third part of his assets. He associated pious obligations to it, which had to be fulfilled in the monastery of Santo António, where his body would be buried. His wife Isabel would be the first administrator, being succeeded by his son Manuel Teles and his descendants. If his son died without leaving heirs, the entail would pass to the eldest son of his cousin Diogo de Sousa, o Galego.

Will (extract) by which Lopo de Baião bequeaths a farmstead (quinta) in Varche, Elvas, to his daughter, Maria, with the obligation of supporting the celebration of 3 annual masses for his soul. After her death, the entail would be transmitted to her son.
He also leaves another entail, established by Catarina Fernandes and Leonor Afonso, his aunts, to his daughter, declaring that an olive grove in Reguengo, a property (cerrado) in Porta de Évora, houses in Elvas and a vineyard in Alpedrede were entailed to it. Its administrators were obligated to support the celebration of a sung mass every year.

Extract of Diogo Afonso's will, instituting an entail with the obligation of 4 annual masses in the church of São Paio de Antas. As administrators, Diogo Afonso appointed his nephews Pedro e Domingos, which had the right to transmit their part of the administrator to their offspring.

Extract of Diogo Barbosa de Almeida's will, instituting an entail with pious obligations in the church of Santiago de Carreiras, where he should also be buried. Diogo left his estates to his brother Manuel de Almeida and to his nephew João Barbosa de Almeida. These estates were entailed, and each administrator had the right to appoint his successor amongst his offspring.

Will (extract) of Gaspar Rodrigues Evangelho bequeathing the remaining of his available portion to Francisco Peixoto, his grandson, with the pious obligation of ten annual masses in the church of Santíssima Trindade of Lajes do Pico, five masses in honour of the Five Holy Wounds for his and his wife's, Filipa Pereira, souls and other five masses for the souls of the testator's parents. If his grandson or Beatriz Evangelho, his granddaughter, has not grandchildren the available portion will be bequeathed to the confraternity of Santíssimo Sacramento of Lajes do Pico and Casa da Misericórdia of the same town.

Will (extract) of Luís Gavião Barreto, in which the testator declares that his wife Catarina Lobo was to be his universal heir. They had agreed on the establishment of an entail, for which Luís Gavião Barreto left his "terça", including the lands he owned in the parish of Roriz and the patronage of the local church. The administrator would be his son Manuel Gavião Barreto, who would take possession of the properties after the death of Luís and Catarina, and who would be succeeded by his first-born son. If he died without descendants, an administrator would be appointed from among the relatives of Luís Gavião Barreto's mother.

Will (extract) by which Isabel Álvares bequeathed the third part of her assets, including a property named "Cabeço de Vasco Vicente" to her daughter, Isabel Lobo, determining that its revenues would support the celebration of 3 annual masses for her soul. If Isabel Lobo died without leaving descendants, the entail would be administrated by Tomé Lobo, the testator's husband, and subsequently passed to Mécia, her niece. It was approved by Francisco Fernandes, tabelião, in 1563-10-23.

Will (extract) by which Luís de Carvalho establishes a chapel in the memory of his parents, according to their will, entailing assets in Évora, Monte Redondo, Alhos Vedros and Lisboa, with the obligation of 104 masses, two each week, in S. Francisco of Lisboa. He appoints his wife, Isabel Fragoso, as first administrator and, after her death, his nephew, Bento Carvalho de Botafogo, son of Pedro Carvalho, and his children, afterwards. He also establishes a payment of 2000 reis a year to the confrary of the Santíssimo Sacramento of the convent, to pray the masses.

Will (extract) by which Maria Afonso appoints Álvaro Vasques as administrator of the entail she had inherited from her great-grandfather, Martinho Silvestre, her grandfather Gomes Martins and her cousin, also named Gomes Martins, composed of houses and farmlands in Mourão and Monsaraz. If by the time of Bárbara Gonçalves's death Violante Gil has already died, the entail shall be bequeathed to her granddaughter, Leonor Correia, and to her succession thereafter.

Will (extract) by which Gaspar Lopes de Murga declares his intention of being buried in the chapel he was building in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, where his parents and siblings were also buried. He establishes that properties should be bought for the maintenance of the chapel, with total a revenue of 100 000 reis, and that 12 divine offices and 36 masses should be prayed annually for his, his parents, his siblings and his successors' souls. He appoints his brother, Doutor Francisco Lopes, as the entail's first administrator or, if he is already dead, his other brother, António Lopes de Murga. They shall pay 400 000 reis to another of their brothers, Rui Lopes de Murga.

Will (extract) by which Lourenço Vieira establishes an entail on his farmstead in Lumiar, Lisboa, near the church of S. João. He bequeaths it to his nephew, Lourenço Vieira, with the obligation of four annual masses in the chapel of S. Lourenço of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, on the days of S. João Evangelista, Jesus, Easter and S. Lourenço, and other twelve masses on each first Sunday of every month. He also orders that he and his sucessors take 50 000 reis of the third parts of their inheritances to keep the chapel repaired. If by the time of Lourenço Vieira's death his nephew has already died, the entail shall be bequeathed to his sister, Beatriz Vieira.

Will (extract) by which Dinis Gonçalves and his wife, Mécia Dias, unite the third parts of their inheritances, establishing an entail and a chapel in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, with the obligation of two weekly masses and three annual masses. At the time of their death, the administration shall be bequeathed to Brás Soares, Mécia Dias's son and Dinis Gonçalves's stepson, and to his successors.

Will (extract) by which Aleixo Fernandes establishes an entail with his properties in Nossa Senhora do Amparo, Burrel and Urmeiro, in the outskirts of Lisboa and Sintra. He appoints his sister, Maria das Neves, to be its first administrator, obligating her to celebrate 20 annual masses in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. After her death it should be inherited by Padre Roque Luis, their brother. The eldest son or daughter of Maria das Neves would become administrator of the entail after Roque's death.

Will (extract) by which Salvador Esteves bequeaths his second wife, Catarina Neto, all his silver and gold, so she can buy properties to annex to his quinta das Marnotas in Loures, in an entail. He establishes an obligation of a sung mass every Sunday, and holiday of Nossa Senhora, in the monastery of Trindade, for his soul. He also establishes an annual mass for the soul of his first wife, Margarida Carvalho, and their son, Francisco Carvalho, in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, where they are buried. Catarina Neto will have the capacity to appoint one of her daughters as the next administrator of the chapel. If none of them are alive, it shall be bequeathed to their closest relative. He also bequeaths money to the Irmandade de Nossa Senhora do Paraíso to pray more masses in both monasteries.

Will (extract) by which Inês Nunes establishes an entail with houses in Lisboa, appointing Leonor de Almeida, her sister and João Vaz's wife, as its first administrator and ordering her to support the celebration of 25 annual masses in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. After Leonor's death, it would be passed to her son, Duarte Vaz.
The testator also bequeaths other houses in Lisboa to Beatriz Nunes, her sister and Gaspar Ferreira's wife, instituting the pious obligation of celebrating 25 annual masses for her soul in the referred church. After Beatriz's death, the entail would be inherited by one of her legitimate sons. Inês chooses to be buried in the mentioned church.

Will (extract) made by João Trigo in which he ordered the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of masses celebrated every year in the church of Santa Maria of Viana. He appointed Catarina Soajo to be the first administrator during her lifetime and, after her death, she shall be succeeded by closest male heir of the institutor.

Will (extract) by which Pedro de Carnide bequeaths the third part of his assets, including houses in Lisboa, to his wife, Maria Seabra, with the obligation of celebrating 9 annual masses dedicated to Nossa Senhora do Rosário. After Maria's death, the entail should be inherited by Pedro's son, Francisco de Carnide.

Will (extract) by which Amador Fernandes, carpinteiro, bequeaths the third part of his assets, including rents of houses and lands in Godigana, Sintra, to his son, Domingos Fernandes, Maria Luís' husband, with the obligation of celebrating 5 annual masses for his soul in the church of the convent of S. Will (extract) made by Constança Salvado in which she ordered the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of masses celebrated every year in the monastery of São Domingos of Évora. She appointed Cristóvão Vasques to be the first administrator during his lifetime and, after his death, he shall be succeeded by his eldest male son.

Will (extract) by which Maria de Abreu Faria ordered her eldest son, José Correia de Abreu, to buy a public debt instrument or properties with the third part of her assets and to use its revenues to support the celebration of a perpetual daily mass for her soul and for the soul of her husband, Filipe Correia, in the church of Santa Maria Madalena of Lisboa, where her body would be buried. The chapel should be administrated by him during his lifetime and, at the time of his death, inherited by his eldest son.

Will (extract) by which Maria das Neves bequeaths and olive grove in Santa Iria, on the outskirts of Lisboa, to her nephew, Domingos Jorge, determining that him and his descendants must support the celebration of 20 annual masses for her soul in the church of Santa Maria Madalena of that city. At the time of his death, Domingos Jorge should transmit it to his eldest son, who would pass it to his successors. If the former dies childless, the entail has to be inherited by Manuel Antunes, the institutor's nephew and Vicência Antunes' son. The olive grove could never be sold.

Will (extract) by which Luísa Chamosa expresses her wish to be buried with her husband, Cristóvão Alcoforado, in the chancel of the church of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, with an obligation of half an annual of masses for each of them, to which two public debt instruments of 10 000 réis shall be entailed. She establishes an entail with her properties, and designates as heir, after her husband's death, D. Jorge, son of D. António de Noronha and of D. Briolanja, and his successors and relatives from his mother's line. If her heirs don't fulfill the obligations of her will in two years, the entail and obligations shall pass to the priests of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade.

Will (extract) by which Simão Nunes established a chapel in the church of Santa Maria Madalena of Lisboa, entailing to it the third part of his assets, including houses in Rua Ver-o-Peso, Lisboa. He designated his wife, Joana Nunes, to become its first administrator, determining that she and her successors must celebrate annual masses for her soul during Christmas and on the day of S. Simão. She was also obligated to give a pension of 20 000 réis each year to Teresa de Jesus, his daughter, as long as the latter lived. After the death of the first administrator, the chapel had to be inherited by Simão, the institutor's son, and passed to his descendants.

Will (extract) by which António Viegas Gentil established an entail, designating his daughter D. Maria Chichorra de Sousa to be its first administrator. She should incorporate her "legítima" and other assets into this entail, under penalty of loosing this succession. In this case, this entail should be succeeded by his nephew Francisco de Lucena. If his daughter accepted his condition, and if she died without heirs, this entail should be succeeded by D. Leonor and her heirs from the second marriage, but she just could marry after her daughter's. The institutor also established that his assets should be used to buy public debt instrument or immovable goods in order to incorporate them into the entail. The administrator was due to order the celebration of masses wherever he would be buried. This entail is composed of houses located in Lisboa.

Will (extract) by which Antónia de Almada established an entail, with the obligation to order the celebration of two masses in the Convent of São Romão de Alverca for her mother's soul. She also established the celebration of two more masses in the Monastery of Amparo, where she would be buried. The administrator was also obligated to give some wine and oil to the friars of this last Monastery. The successors were obligated to incorporate into this entail 100 000 réis. This entail is composed of a farm of Alfarrrobeira and houses in Lisboa.

Will (extract) by which João Alves da Fonseca, mestre de campo, established an entail, designating his nephew Jorge de Sousa da Costa to be its first administrator. He left to João, son of João Alves Coutinho and his wife Dona Catarina de Vilhena, his farm called "Soutos" and other rents on the outskirts of Santarém, with the condition to return to Jorge de Sousa da Costa's successors after his death. The administrator was due to order the celebration of masses in a privileged altar wherever he wanted and to give some legacies to the nuns of the family. If Jorge de Sousa da Costa died without heirs, it should succeed the heirs of his brother João da Costa.

Will (extract) by which Fernando Afonso, hortelão, bequeaths his properties in Lisboa to his wife, Margarida Afonso, during her lifetime. After her death, his houses and an olive grove in Chelas shall be given to his sister, Isabel Afonso, wife of Pedro Afonso, and to her descendants, with an obligation of an annual mass in the convent of S. Francisco de Xabregas, Lisboa. His casal in Lousa, Loures, shall be given to his brother, Jorge Afonso, and to his descendants, with the obligation of another annual mass in the same convent.

Will (extract) in which Pedro Varela entails his houses and properties in Setúbal and bequeaths them to his nephew Miguel Leite Ferreira as dowry for his marriage to D. Leonor de Távora. Miguel Leite is obliged to give 5 000 réis annually to the priests of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa for the fulfilment of perpetual pious charges for his uncle’s soul and other family members. If the testator is buried in another place before being transferred to this convent, in the meantime, the amount paid and the celebrations established should take place at that location.
Pedro Varela also requires that his nephew assures the fulfilment of pious charges for the soul of his first wife Isabel de Paiva Estocha Serrão, who is buried in the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa, and for her family members.
After Miguel Leite’s death, his second son Pedro Varela should succeed in the administration of the entail and then it should pass consecutively to the eldest sons. The testator details the conditions and alternatives for succession.

She appointed Manuel Rodrigues Vindeiro and Isabel Dias to be the first administrators during their lifetime and, after their death, they shall be succeeded by their eldest sons.

Will (extract) by Estêvão de Brito Freire in which he ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of an entail composed of several assets in Lisboa, Beja and Salvador da Baía, with an obligation of a daily mass celebrated on his Chapel of S. Estêvão, located in the church of the convent of Nossa Senhora de Jesus, in Lisboa, where his body should be buried. He named his son Gaspar de Brito Freire as first administrator of the entail and chapel, and after his death the succession should always continue, preferably, on the eldest male heir. The administrator should keep a lamp permanently lit on the chapel, use the surname "Brito Freire" and the family coat of arms or lose the administration. Clerics and anyone who married a person of jewish or moorish ascendency should immediately lose the administrators, as well as anyone who committed lese-majeste crimes.

Will (extract) by which Vicente Rodrigues Castelão declares that, following the death of Joana de Almeida, he married Filipa Monteiro and divided the chapel he had established with his late wife in two parts. Maria de Sá, Joana de Almeida's niece, was appointed to administer her aunt's share. She appoints her husband, Simão Monteiro, as administrator of this chapel during his lifetime. After his death, this chapel will be entailed to the one in Beja established by Lourenço Vaz Testa, with the same obligation of 33 masses in S. Will (extract) by which Luís de Almeida de Vasconcelos orders, among other dispositions, the foundation of a chapel in the Igreja da Misericórdia de Lisboa, dedicated to Espírito Santo, entailing to it a sugar-mill, named Laranjeiras, and two farmsteads, named Barra Funda and Boa Vista, in the island of São Tomé, and the donatary captaincy and Alcaidaria-Mor of the island of Ano Bom, with cotton farms and more than 250 african slaves. He appoints his cousin D. Maria de Almeida to be the first administrator, but only if his wife D. Simoa, had no children of his own. He orders that 20 000 cruzados should be given to the Misericórdia de Lisboa in order to pay for the ransom of portuguese captives in Africa.

Will (extract) by which Brás Figueira Lobo and his wife, Filipa de Almada, establish an entail. They unite the third parts of their assets, the money entailed to the chapel of Brás Figueira Lobo's parents, in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, and a farmstead in Alvalade, entailed to the chapel of Isabel Lobato, in S. Pedro de Alfama. They establish an obligation of 25 masses in S. Francisco of Lisboa, where they shall be buried, and one in S. Pedro de Alfama: 15 for the soul of Brás Figueira Lobo's father, ten for their own souls and one for the soul of Isabel Lobato.

Will (extract) by which Pedro Manhos and Isabel Pedrosa declare that the entail established by him should be associated to a pious obligation to be fulfiled, each year, in the church where the institutor's body would be buried. His bones must be firstly deposited in a church in Lisboa and, after some time, transferred to the church of Nossa Senhora dos Mártires of Sacavém. After the death of both of them, the entail should be inherited by Lourenço Marques, their nephew, and the properties incorporating it and another unidentified entail should be listed in a tombo.

Will (extract) by which Luís Pereira de Barros established an entail, designating his daughter D. Francisca Pereira de Teles to be its first administrator. The administrator was due to order the celebration of masses with the rents of his third and other belongings such as gold, silver ou white clothes. The institutor also ordered that his natural daughter, a nun in the Convent of Castanheira, should receive 20 000 réis each year.

Will (extract) by which Beatriz de Mesquita founded an entail with all her assets, including lands (casal) in Vila Nova, determining that its revenues had to support the celebration of a weekly mass and other masses every Christmas in the church of S. Francisco. The institutor appointed her brother, Gonçalo Pinto de Mesquita, as her universal heir, executor and successor in the entail's administration.

She and her descendants were obligated to support the celebration of 5 annual masses in honour of the five holy wounds. After her death, she would be succeeded by António, her son.

If João died without heirs, the chapel would be administrated by António, Guiomar Domingues' son, or his offspring.
