Will (extract) by Francisco Pestana and Beatriz de Faria, his wife, through which they establish an entail, with the third part of their assets, including lands (casais) in Loures, in Godinheira, in Alpolentim and a farmstead (quinta) in Varatojo. The revenues extracted from those assets should support the celebration of 4 annual masses in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa.

Will (extract) by which Luísa Franca bequeaths the revenue of her houses in Lisboa to her niece, Maria Pinheiro Miranda, with the obligation of 80 masses in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. Another extract of the same will mentions a donation of twelve alqueires of wheat whilst another foro isn't "destratado", which the institutor gives to José Guterres, son of Jorge Guterres, her nephew, under the condition that if he dies without descendants, it shall pass to his sister, Catarina de Góis, who can bequeath it to her children. If she has no descendants, it shall be given to the Misericórdia of Lisboa. And if the foro is "destratado", the person who at that time charges the wheat will have to order 100 masses for her soul.

ENCARGOS (ANUAIS): missa cantada com ladainha e responso sobre a sepultura da testadora, na igreja da Ribeira Brava, pela esmola de um cruzado. Em 1796 (f. 93-98) o administrador D. José de Brito obtém componenda de redução de pensões em atraso.
REDUÇÃO DE ENCARGOS: por sentença de 1819-02-09 (f. 257-279 do processo de capela de João Mendes de Brito e mulher), as pensões desta capela e as outras administradas por António Saldanha da Gama são reduzidas à pensão anual de 70.000 réis à Misericórdia do Funchal (vd. despacho do juiz do Resíduo na f. 107 v.º, a ordenar a averbação ao processo desta redução).
BENS VINCULADOS: terça dos bens, que importou em 511.702 réis, segundo o documento “Pagamento à terça de Guiomar Ferreira” (f. 61 v.º-62). Em bens imóveis, são apenas referidos a terça de um lugar na Fajã da Ribeira Brava e um foro de 2.500 réis pago por Gaspar Gonçalves, (não se mencionado onde está imposto).
SUCESSÃO: terça dos bens seria usufruída pelos filhos Gaspar de Vilela e Isabel de Vilela «as comerão em suas vidas», nomeando depois o neto Antão Vilela de Castelo Branco, filho de Gaspar de Vilela, e os seus descendentes em linha direita. Caso não tivesse herdeiros ficaria à neta Guiomar Ferreira, também filha de Gaspar de Vilela.

Francisco of Lisboa, where his parents and siblings were also buried. He establishes that properties should be bought for the maintenance of the chapel, with total a revenue of 100 000 reis, and that 12 divine offices and 36 masses should be prayed annually for his, his parents, his siblings and his successors' souls. He appoints his brother, Doutor Francisco Lopes, as the entail's first administrator or, if he is already dead, his other brother, António Lopes de Murga. They shall pay 400 000 reis to another of their brothers, Rui Lopes de Murga.

Francisco of Lisboa, which include houses in Lisboa, in rua do Almada, the casal da Falagueira and a casal foreiro to the convent of Almoster, with the obligation of 12 masses for her soul and a pitcher and a half of oil for the lamp of the Santíssimo Sacramento. If her great-niece dies without descendants, the properties shall be bequeathed to her brother, Agostinho de Aguiar, or to her sister, Helena de Aguiar, or to Francisca Lopes and João de Aguiar, if all their children die without succession. If all of them die without succesion, the chapel shall be bequeathed instead to Catarina de Sena and her successors. If Francisca Antunes's lineage is extinguished, the chapel shall be bequeathed to the confraria dos Fiéis de Deus of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa.

He bequeaths it to his nephew, Lourenço Vieira, with the obligation of four annual masses in the chapel of S. Lourenço of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, on the days of S. João Evangelista, Jesus, Easter and S. Lourenço, and other twelve masses on each first Sunday of every month. He also orders that he and his sucessors take 50 000 reis of the third parts of their inheritances to keep the chapel repaired. He also establishes an annual mass for the soul of his first wife, Margarida Carvalho, and their son, Francisco Carvalho, in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, where they are buried. Catarina Neto will have the capacity to appoint one of her daughters as the next administrator of the chapel. If none of them are alive, it shall be bequeathed to their closest relative. He also bequeaths money to the Irmandade de Nossa Senhora do Paraíso to pray more masses in both monasteries.

Will (extract) by which Maria Birrenta adds ten masses to the chapel established by her husband, to be prayed in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. She bequeaths this obligation to her heir, João Simões, and asks that, after he solves the bail of the houses entailed by her husband, he buys more properties to entail to the chapel. While those houses aren't sold, he shall have the obligation of 16 masses, 6 for her husband's uncle and first wife, and ten for her and her husband's souls.

They also mention that if they win the legal action which opposes them to Álvaro Pacheco's heirs, thus obtaining other houses in Lisboa, part of its revenues should be used to fulfil pious obligations.

Will (extract) by which Inês Nunes establishes an entail with houses in Lisboa, appointing Leonor de Almeida, her sister and João Vaz's wife, as its first administrator and ordering her to support the celebration of 25 annual masses in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. After Leonor's death, it would be passed to her son, Duarte Vaz.
The testator also bequeaths other houses in Lisboa to Beatriz Nunes, her sister and Gaspar Ferreira's wife, instituting the pious obligation of celebrating 25 annual masses for her soul in the referred church. After Beatriz's death, the entail would be inherited by one of her legitimate sons. Inês chooses to be buried in the mentioned church.

If the pregnancy doesn't come to full term, he appoints his brother, Francisco Borges, as his heir, and his successors afterwards.
Followed by the information that the properties were given by Álvaro Lopes, boticário, to his niece, Paula da Silva, by a dowry deed dated 1593-05-10, with the obligation of one mass in Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa.
