She was due to order the celebration of masses for his soul in the Church of São Cristóvão, in Lisboa, where he wanted to be buried. After her death, it should succeed his aunt Catarina Meireles and afterwards her eldest daughter Brásia de Aguiar and her eldest son. This entail is composed of a "casal" in the place of Laveiras, on the outskirts of Oeiras.

Will (extract) by which Brás da Silva de Azevedo and his wife Isabel Dantas declared that they wanted to use their thirds in order to establish an entail. The institutors designated their son João Pereira and his heirs to be its administrators but, if he died childless, it should succeed his grandson António, son of their son António da Silva. The administrator was due to order the celebration of ten masses in the Church of São Tomé, where they wanted to be buried. The institutors also left some legacies to their servant Ana Vieira in order to get married. This entail is composed of lands on the outskirts of Montemor.

Will (extract) by which Margarida Fernandes established an entail, designating his niece Beatriz Fernandes, wife of Gião Fernandes, sangrador da Rainha, to be its first administrator. She was due to order the celebration of masses in the Monastery of São Domingos, using the rents of some houses located in Lisboa. After her death, it should succeed in this entail her niece's brother António Fernandes, ourives. The institutor also declared that she wanted to establish another entail, designating another niece called Beatriz Fernandes, wife of Afonso Pires, escrivão de almotaçaria, with the same obligation to celebrate masses in the Monastery of São Domingos using the rents of some houses. This obligation should always be transmitted to the eldest sons.

Will (extract) by which Sebastião de Morais orders the building of a chapel of the evocation of Santa Catarina in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, in the place of the old chapel of Chagas, which had been demolished. It shall be given to the Irmandade de Santa Catarina, and serve as his family's burial place. He establishes an obligation of two weekly masses for his soul, to be entailed to a public debt instrument, which shall be given to the Irmandade.

Will (extract) by which Diogo Marchão Temudo declared that he wanted to celebrate each year the Santo António's day and all the entail's successors were due to fulfil this obligation. He designated his daughter Luísa Maria Ravasco and his wife D. Brites Teresa de Mendonça to be his heirs, and the successors were obligated to incorporate their thirds into this entail. Their parents were buried in the Church of São Vicente de Fora and he wanted to be buried in the same place.

She bequeaths part of them to Maria de Faria with an obligation of three annual masses in the church of Santo Estêvão de Alfama, where Rui Pires and his daughters are buried. She bequeaths the other part to Pedro Gonçalves with an obligation of five annual masses for her soul and the soul of her husband. Both houses shall always be entailed to these obligations.

Will (extract) by which Maria da Conceição asked the executor of her will to sell part of her assets, including houses in Lisboa and her jewelry, and to buy a property with the sale's profit, which would be subsequently entailed to her chapel. She designated her husband, Manuel de Freitas Ferreira, to administrate it, determining that, at time of his death, he must choose someone among his relatives to become his successor. The future administrators of the chapel had to support the celebration of 300 annual masses for the institutor's soul and the soul of Simão Correia, her first husband, in the churches of Santa Maria Madalena, Nossa Senhora das Mercês, Nossa Senhora da Conceição dos Cardais and in the convent of Paulistas of Lisboa.

He also leaves her other houses in Rua de Valverde with the obligation of spending 1 000 réis of its revenues in the celebration of annual masses in that church. Furthermore, the testator donates houses in Rua dos Fornos to the priests of that church, asking them to celebrate a weekly mass for his soul perpetually.

Will (extract) by which Maria Cardoso de Montalvo established an entail, designating her nephew Francisco Cardoso de Montalvo to be its first administrator. He was due to order the celebration of masses for her and her aunt's soul. This entail is composed of a farm in Penha de França with its olive groves, houses and orchard; houses located in Lisboa; a "casal" in Santiago dos Velhos; and an orchard and a farm called "Teixeira", on the outskirts of Santarém. If her nephew died childless, it should succeed her niece Luísa Cardoso and her heirs. The institutor also established that her nephew Francisco Cardoso de Montalvo should sell leased propriety in order to buy free holding assets to be incorporated into the entail. She finally established that she wanted to give to her nephew Manuel Cardoso a rent of some assets located in Santarém, with the obligation to take care of his mother and the institutor's sister, and to celebrate masses for the soul of her deceased sisters and parents. Francisco Cardoso de Montalvo could buy this rent (foro) for the value of 200 000 réis. After Manuel Cardoso's death, this propriety should pass to the entail's administrator, Francisco Cardoso de Montalvo.

João Batista of Lumiar and light a lamp in its main chapel before and during each service. If Guiomar de Freitas died before inheriting the entail, it would be transmitted to Ana Correia, the testator's other sister. The entailed property could never be sold or exchanged for other one. The testator declares that her body must be buried inside that church, next to the remains or her parents.

Will (extract) in which António Vaz Pereira expresses his wish of being buried in the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, in his parents’ grave. He also establishes perpetual pious obligations for his own soul as well as for the souls of his parents and other family members buried in there. To ensure the fulfilment of these obligations he entails them to his estate, Quinta da Horta, in Bucelas. The testator notes that his Casal do Carvalhal, located in S. Lourenço de Banho, was already entailed to the obligation of a mass for his father’s soul, as established by his father’s will and which António Vaz Pereira was required to fulfil. The testator states that these properties comprise a third of his assets and will be assigned to his heirs after his death, but always with the specified obligations attached. If the properties are sold, they must be sold with the obligations attached unless their owners reach an agreement with the priests of the convent to release them from these charges.

If Brás Martins died before the testator's son, without appointing an heir, the entail would be inherited by Simoa Rodrigues, his wife, who should transmit it to her closest relative. Will (extract) by which Francisco Dias designated Baltasar Marques, his son, to administrate the chapel he had established in the church of S. Pedro of Alfama. He determined that he and his successors should give, each year, 1 200 réis, taken from the revenues of houses in Bairro dos Escolares, Lisboa, to that church, whose priests would be responsible for celebrating 18 annual masses for the institutor's soul. The testator entailed a store in Rua da Galé to that chapel. He mentioned that he had already established a contract with the priests of that church. At the time of his son's death, the entail would be transmitted to a son or daughter of his choice.

Will (extract) by which Simão Gonçalves de Figueiroa bequeaths all of his properties, consisting of houses in Lisboa, Caselas and Vale de Pereiro, as an entail, to his godson, Baltasar, son of Manuel Vidal and Maria Carvalho, appointing his father as his tutor during his minority. He orders the acquisition of the chapel of Mártires in the church of S. Roque of Lisboa, to use as his chapel and burial place, with an obligation of a daily mass. She indicated that her husband had established a chapel in that convent, entailing to it stores in Rua Nova, and asked their daughter, Soror Joana de Jesus, to choose a chaplain to celebrate a perpetual daily mass for his soul.
The testator instituted another chapel in that convent, entailing to it his public debt instruments. She determined that Padre António de Sequeira would be its chaplain and that Jerónimo Leitão, her husband's nephew, would administrate both chapels. He had the obligation to give, each year, 20 000 réis to her daughter, only during her lifetime. After his death, the chapels would be administrated by António, his son, and subsequently transmitted to his descendants.
