Will (extract) made by Sancha Eanes in which she ordered the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of masses celebrated every year in the monastery of São Francisco of Évora. She appointed Estêvão Eanes and Pedro Martins Racom to be the first administrators during their lifetime. After their death, the administrator was to be appointed by the guardião of that monastery.

After the death of the last one, it should succeed the closest relative of the institutor, with the priority to choose the ecclesiastical ones.

He appoints as his heir his great-nephew, Luís Álvares da Cunha de Eça, of whom he is the tutor and curator, and who is the administrator of the entail of Quinta da Pipa. He establishes an obligation of 5 000 reis of masses and a lamp in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa and the celebration of masses of the Martinho Esteves' chapel in the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora. He also entails a public debt instrument to a chapel of ecclesiastical administration in the Cathedral of Lisboa.

Will (extract) by which Diogo da Costa Cabral founded an entail, incorporating in it a public debt instrument of 50 000 réis and leaving to his successors the decision about which one of other two assets, a public debt instrument of 20 500 réis, or houses that he owned in Lisboa, should also be entailed. The remaining asset had to be sold. He instituted the pious obligation of a daily mass celebrated in the chapel of Santiago, which was supposed to be erected by his successors. He appointed Fernando Dias da Palma and Beatriz, his sister, as his will's executors and first administrators of the said entail. He ordered that Beatriz should appoint the entail's next administrator, with the condition that she chose someone within their family.

Will (extract) by which Joana de Campos expresses her wish to be buried in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. She bequeaths all her properties to her husband, Luís Lopes Madeira, or to her sister, Catarina de Campos, if her husband has already died, under the condition that they shall chose a nephew and a niece of both of them, that shall marry and unite their properties in an entail, which shall pass to their successors. This entail shall have the obligation of a daily mass. If her husband doesn't wish to entail his properties with hers, she bequeaths them, instead, to her closest relative, with an obligation of masses in the holidays of the Virgin and during Lent.

Will (extract) by which Luís Lopes Madeira expresses his wish to be buried in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, next to his first wife, Joana de Campos. He establishes an entail with his properties and the properties he inherited from his wife, fulfilling her will. He beaqueaths them to his second wife, Antónia de Lemos, during her lifetime, under the condition that, afterwards, they shall be inherited by his and his first wife's relatives, who shall marry, and by their descendants. They shall order a daily mass for his and his first wife's souls in their burial place. The casal da Carapinha, which Catarina de Campos, Joana de Campos's sister, inherited, shall also be annexed to this entail, if she dies without descendants. If these conditions aren't fulfilled, the properties shall be bequeathed to the Misericórdia of Lisboa, to employ in pious obligations.

Will (extract) by which capitão Diogo da Veiga requests to be buried in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, wearing the habit of the Franciscans. He establishes a chapel in the same convent, entailing to it the third part of his inheritance, set on a public debt instrument in the Casa das Imposições de Vinho, with the obligation of one weekly mass. He appoints his daughter, D. Bárbara, as the entail's first administrator, and her successors after her death. The remains of his assets shall be used to buy properties for the chapel.

Will (extract) by which Brás Figueira Lobo and his wife, Filipa de Almada, establish an entail. They unite the third parts of their assets, the money entailed to the chapel of Brás Figueira Lobo's parents, in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, and a farmstead in Alvalade, entailed to the chapel of Isabel Lobato, in S. Pedro de Alfama. They establish an obligation of 25 masses in S. Francisco of Lisboa, where they shall be buried, and one in S. Pedro de Alfama: 15 for the soul of Brás Figueira Lobo's father, ten for their own souls and one for the soul of Isabel Lobato.

He entails the casais de Paços to support five masses each year and appoints his nephew Afonso for the chapel's administration. He entails his casal do Reguengo de Sabadim to another obligation of five annual masses, and bequeaths it to Gonçalo, son of Domingas, criada of Domingos Martins de Carvalho de Alva. He bequeaths other properties to Álvaro, João, Maria, Constança and Graça, his criados, with the obligation of five masses each. He designates Lourenço Martins, his cousin, as his universal heir and executor, and orders him to fulfil other obligations in the monastery of Sabadim.

Will (extract) by which Pedro Manhos and Isabel Pedrosa declare that the entail established by him should be associated to a pious obligation to be fulfiled, each year, in the church where the institutor's body would be buried. His bones must be firstly deposited in a church in Lisboa and, after some time, transferred to the church of Nossa Senhora dos Mártires of Sacavém. After the death of both of them, the entail should be inherited by Lourenço Marques, their nephew, and the properties incorporating it and another unidentified entail should be listed in a tombo.

Will (extract) in which Ana Camelo bequeaths her houses in Belém to her nephew, Miguel Ruão, and his heirs. If he does not have children, she establishes other alternatives for succession, including the possibility of her cousins Manuel Álvares Camelo, Leonor Camelo, Francisca Camelo and their heirs succeeding. If all of them die without children, the houses must pass to a female from the Carneiro or Camelo bloodline who is poorer. She entails these houses to perpetual masses for her soul and whoever owns the houses must pay 1000 réis to the priests. She also bequeaths to her nephew a rent from a watermill she has in Barcarena, on the condition of fulfilling pious charges for her soul and for the souls of António Ribeiro, her father, mother, and other members of her family at the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa.

Will (extract) by which Luís Pereira de Barros established an entail, designating his daughter D. Francisca Pereira de Teles to be its first administrator. It should succeed in this entail her legitimate heirs and, if she died childless, it should succeed the eldest son of his cousin João Coelho Henriques. The successors of this entail were obligated to incorporate their thirds into this entail. The administrator was due to order the celebration of masses with the rents of his third and other belongings such as gold, silver ou white clothes. The institutor also ordered that his natural daughter, a nun in the Convent of Castanheira, should receive 20 000 réis each year.

She refers an asset (“uma viagem”) that should be sold to buy a public debt instrument to ensure this pious charge, but if the sale did not take place, she would entail half of the Quinta de Valongo, near Vila Flor, and, if necessary, other assets she shall inherit from her dowry and arras.

Will (extract) by which João Domingues established a chapel with an olive grove located near S. Francisco, designating his daughter, Guiomar Domingues, to administrate it. She and her descendants were obligated to support the celebration of 5 annual masses in honour of the five holy wounds. After her death, she would be succeeded by António, her son.
He also left Guiomar Domingues his houses on Rua das Carniças [?] and a vegetable garden (horta) near Fonte da Rala with the obligation of celebrating 2 perpetual annual masses for his soul.
The testator instituted another chapel with an olive grove near the road to Espinhaço da Cabra, a rent (foro) of 1 200 réis in a vegetable garden near Fonte da Rala and a rent of 900 réis in houses located on Olivença. He chose his grandson, João, to administrate it, obligating him and his descendants to support the celebration of 2 annual masses for the souls of the institutor's parents, João Sobrinho and Teresa Vaz. If João died without heirs, the chapel would be administrated by António, Guiomar Domingues' son, or his offspring.
