Declaration deed by which Fernando Pereira Barreto and Catarina de Sequeira, his wife, confirmed the foundation of their entail and determined that D. Maria Barreto and the entail's future administrators had to support the celebration of 12 annual masses for their souls in a church chosen by their daughter.

Declaration deed of the assets of the chapel and entail instituted by Fernando Álvares da Cunha, located in the church of Nossa Senhora da Vitória of Lisboa, issued by Doutor Gaspar Ferraz, provedor dos Hospitais, Capelas, Confrarias e Resíduos of Lisboa, following a petition presented by Joana Vaz. The administrator, after a demand with the entail, changed the properties previously entailed, requesting the declaration deed to add them to the books intended for the registration of the entail in Torre do Tombo and in the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Vitória, which she had already ordered to be made.
It also includes several documents relating to the purchase of real estate, incomes and public debt instruments, along with the realization of leases, prior to the establishment of the entail, dated between 1556-07-09 and 1570-10-14.

Declaration deed by Luís Álvares de Madureira and Joana de Madureira, by which they decided to incorporate in the previously instituted entail the inheritance they had received from Pedro de Madureira, father of Joana and father-in-law and uncle of Luís Álvares. They also included the houses they owned in Rua Nova, in Porto, as well as estates in the outskirts of Porto and Guimarães. They also decided that the administrators of the entail would be obliged to celebrate perpetual masses in the chapel located in the farmstead of Freixo, the head of the entail.

They give an account of the fulfillment of their wills and legacies. Among them, the institution of a chaplaincy of masses, in the monastery of São Francisco of Seville where he was buried, as well as another in the Hospital of Nossa Senhora da Paz. They also orders the rebuilding of the hermitage of Nossa Senhora das Neves, in Vila Nova de Monsarros, as well as the celebration of perpetual charges. João Manuel Soares would be its patron during his life, succeeding him the closest relative of Cosme Dias and the chaplain of the chapel, who would administer it together. Establishes another chapel for masses, in the convent of São Francisco of Coimbra.

Declaration deed by Belchior Dias precising that he had instituted a chapel in honour of São Gonçalo with two weekly masses, and listing the entailed properties.

Declaration deed made by Luís Fernandes Ligeiro in which he confirmed the foundation of an entail and chapel, ordering the executors of his will to make an inventory of the entailed assets, and also ordered that this chapel should have a perpetual mass obligation of one weekly mass celebrated every sunday on the altar of N. Sra. do Rosário, in Monforte. He also confirmed that his nephew Manuel Gil should be succeeded by his descendants on the administration, but if he had no children, then the administration should be handled to the closest relative.

Declaration deed by which Lopo Gago reports that the chapel of Santa Maria Madalena, located in the church of Santa Maria de Nisa, of which he was administrator, was established by Afonso Eanes Zaratão, in 1401. He also states that the chapel was administered by the Gagos, who are descendants of the founder, and that the income was reduced for the charges. He gives an account of other elements relevant to the history of the chapel.

Declaration deed by which Estêvão Martins Gavião states that he left, in his will, the income from the Herdade da Fonte Alva for the celebration of pious charges for the souls of Lopo Rodrigues and Maior Pires. In the same way, for incomes of the ferragiais of São Silvestre charges were to be celebrated by his wife Maior Domingues. Estêvão Martins entails the other half of the said ferragiais, adding charges for his soul. After his death, he shall be succeeded by his eldest son.

Declaration deed of Pedro de Brito mentioning that the five prayed masses described in his wife's will belong to her available portion and that he bequeaths his own available portion to his daughter with the pious obligation of other five prayed masses, in the church of Nossa Senhora da Luz, in Ponta do Sol, in Madeira island.

Declaration deed by which Antónia Dias Velha established an entail, incorporating the third part of her assets to fulfill the charges in the Church of São Sebastião de Granja de Alpriate, in Vila Franca de Xira. Her assets should be equitably distributed among her children Aldonça Correia, Ana Correia and João Vaz Correia. After the death of her daughters, João Vaz and his sons should remain with the assets. In 1610-10-03, the institutor made some changes to the previous declaration deed.

Declaration deed of Gil Vaz ordering that the chapel is in "fateosim", the masses will be celebrated by Vasco Dias and Álvaro Pires, and the administrator must have a ledger. This chapel should be attached to the chapel of his father and daughter and both administrated by the same person.

Declaration deed for celebration of masses, signed between the reitor and priests of the College of Nossa Senhora da Graça of Coimbra and D. Catarina Brandão, administrator of São Nicolau Tolentino's chapel, instituted by João Brandão, her brother, at that College. The administrator, who intended to be buried in the chapel that she administered, entails assets to increase the charges.
Follow is a consent deed by which Catarina Brandão accepts the clauses contained in the previous deed (dated 1621-04-02).

Declaration deed concerning Domingos da Silva's codicil, through which Frei Baltasar dos Reis, his late brother, declares that both the rent (foro) and the 50 000 réis mentioned by the former, and 33 200 réis found in a box owned by the deceased, would be delivered to Catarina da Silva, their sister and Gonçalo de Paiva's wife, with the obligation of celebrating, each year after Baltasar's death, 11 masses in a unspecified church. While Baltasar was still alive, Catarina was obligated to send, annually, 4 000 réis to their sisters, who were nuns in the convent of S. Domingos of Elvas. Catarina should pass this inheritance to her son or daughter.

Declaration deed through which Pedro Fernandes and Maria Antónia, his wife, revoke clauses of the donation deed they had made previously, determining that, if they do not have any children, their houses in Lisboa should be inherited by a son or daughter of Beatriz de Sousa, Madalena Antónia's sister. He/she would be obligated to support the celebration of 50 annual masses in the church of S. João da Praça of Lisboa and to transmit the entailed properties to his/her descendants. If Beatriz de Sousa forgets to appoint one of her children to administrate that entail, it must be passed to her eldest daughter. Those houses could never be sold or exchanged for other ones.

Declaration deed by which frei Pedro de Mesquita, comendador da Ordem de S. João do Hospital de Jerusalém and bailio de Lango e Leça, confirms the renounciation of a house, orchard and vineyards in Elvas that his brother, António de Mesquita, made to his son, Álvaro de Mesquita, and establishes the conditions of this donation, as had been accorded. He declares that these properties will be entailed to an annual mass for his soul over his tomb or in the chapel of Santo António of the cathedral of Elvas, where his parents are buried. After Álvaro's death, the entail will pass to his children. If he doesn't have successors, it will pass to his sister, D. Joana de Mesquita, and to her children, or to their brother, Alexandre de Mesquita. If his heirs don't fulfil the obligations, the entail will pass to the administrator of the entail founded by Álvaro de Mesquita and his wife, Pedro de Mesquita's parents. Álvaro de Mesquita is present, confirms the donation and accepts the conditions.

Declaration deed by which Simão Pereira de Sousa confirms the clauses of the dowry deed of his marriage to Branca Vieira de Bettencourt. The dowry was made in the form of a chapel, establishing the fulfillment of charges, celebrated in the church of Nossa Senhora das Neves do Norte Grande, on the outskirts of Calheta, on the island of São Jorge.

Declaration deed by which Leonis da Costa entails new assets and changes the charges for the chapel that he had previously established in the monastery of São Marcos of Coimbra.

Declaration deed by which Baltasar de Castro established an entail, incorporating several properties in order to fulfill some pious charges. He designated Francisco Gonçalves to be the chaplain and the first administrator of this chapel, which should be succeeded by a cleric from the institutor's family. In addition, Baltasar de Castro sent 9 bars of silver from the Cidade dos Reis to Seville, made several donations and ordered the purchase of several properties, in a process that would be handled by his nephews Francisco Gonçalves, Pedro Gonçalves Reigoto and António Gonçalves. Followed by an acknowledgment record dated 1628-06-18.

Declaration deed of D. Maria da Costa Noronha adding some clauses related to her chapel, founded by her will, and the entail of Costas, founded by her parents, D. Gil Eanes da Costa and D. Margarida de Noronha. The testator specifies that she wants that only the successors of D. João da Costa, conde de Soure, succeed in her chapel. Otherwise, if his lineage becomes extinct the administration of her chapel should be transferred to Misericórdia of Lisbon. D. Maria da Costa Noronha also entails to her parents' entail a golden ring with the coat of arms of Costas. Besides, she mentions that she owns the entail founded by D. Pedro de Sousa, in which she has a lawsuit with D. Lourenço de Sousa, informing that Nuno Gomes, seu criado, has to give account of the income taken from that entail.

Declaration deed by Rodrigo Pereira de Castro, written in Castilian, annexing some of his own properties to the entail founded by Álvaro Afonso and Grimaneza Pereira and appointing his son, D. Gonçalo Pereira de Araújo and his descendents as the entail successors. The testator also declares some clauses and conditions regarding the entail's succession and administration.

Declaration deed by João Durães and Marta Gonçalves, entailing their reserved portion, previously left in their will to their daughter Ana, with the obligation of one annual mass for their souls in the church of Santiago de Poiares.

Declaration deed by which Pedro Esteves Gavião and his wife Constança Martins, seeing how the assets entailed by Estêvão Martins Gavião and his wife Maior Domingues were insufficient to fulfil the determined charges, entail several properties for that purpose and to increase the charges. After their death, they shall be succeeded by their eldest son.

Declaration deed through which Domingos Nunes, Ana Maria Rodarte's widower, changed clauses of the chapel foundation deed he and his wife had made, entailing to it a public debt instrument of 19 170 réis in Estanco do Tabaco and withdrawing the 30 silver vases. He ordered the making of a tombo of the chapel's assets.

Court sentence by which Rui Forjaz and his wife Isabel Eanes, the administrators of Joana Lagostina's chapel, declared that she was flemish and wife of Álvaro Eanes de Castelo Branco and that she ordered the celebration of ten masses in the Church of Santa Iria and the Church of São João da Talha, using the rents of some olive groves. A papal bull had declared that in this chapel should be said forty masses and the administrators accepted these new obligations. Their children should succeed in this chapel and they could nominate whomever they wanted to be its administrator. The account of the administration specifies that this entail is composed of a "casal", vineyard and olive groves located in Loures.

Court sentence ordering the issuance of a letter of quittance to the administrator of the entail, João de Almada de Melo, since the request of an unnamed woman had been fulfilled. The friars of the monastery of S. Bento were released from their duty.

Court sentence handed down by Doutor João Lucena Homem, desembargador and vigário-geral in Lisbon, on behalf of Francisco de Aguiar, containing the exemplification of a papal bull for reduction of charges celebrated at the Hospital dos Pobres, in Unhos, in the outskirts of Lisboa, issued by Pope Clement VIII. The sentence confirms the information that had been sent to Rome to issue the bull, thus confirming the reduction in the charges of the chapel instituted by Joana Ferreira.

He designated Diogo da Maia, his cousin and brother-in-law, as his universal heir and expressed the wish to institute 2 daily perpetual masses for his soul in the church of S. Julião of Lisboa.

Contract and entail foundation deed by Duarte da Gama with António da Gama, his son, and licenciado Afonso Eanes, tutor of António da Gama, in which the first one founds an entail to his son with all his assets and the latter ones commit themselves to entail all the assets that António da Gama inherited from his late mother, in her reserved portion. Duarte da Gama appoints António da Gama as the first owner of this entail and, after his death, his firstborn male son, with the pious obligation of some masses in the monastery of Nossa Senhora da Piedade of Azeitão.

He committed on behalf of his constituents to give 10 000 réis, taken from the revenues of houses in Évora, to support the pious obligation and the chapel's maintenance. Therefore, the third part of the couples assets could not in any time be entailed to it.

Contract and bond deed between João Borges de Morais, D. Maria da Silva and António Borges de Morais, their son, and Frei Domingos da Ressurreição, ministro provincial of Arrábida and definidor geral of the Order of Saint Francis, Frei João da Ressurreição, definidor of that province, and the priest José da Silva, síndico of the same. The former donate to the latter part of a farm, in the parish of Nossa Senhora dos Olivais, for the maintenance of the Province's convalescence, under certain conditions. The farm would be administered, in the form of an entail, by the first who, through the donation, became patrons of convalescence.
The deed was ratified on 1674-09-30.

Contract and bond deed by which Filipa Tibão, represented by his son Jorge Tibão, declared that she was contracted with the Friars of the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça, in Lisboa, to establish an entail. She appointed her husband Afonso Martins to be its first administrator with the obligation to celebrate masses. This entail is composed of a "casal" located in Sintra.

Contract and bond deed by which the priests of the monastery of Nossa Senhora da Serra of Santarém give the main chapel of their church to D. Fernando Mascarenhas and his wife, D. Filipa da Silva, to serve as their family's chapel and burial place. D. Fernando and his wife donate a public debt instrument to the priests which they entail to an obligation of a daily mass for their souls. The priests promise to fulfil this obligation.

Joana da Silva, concerning the entrance of their two daughters, D. Lourença de Meneses and D. Beatriz de Sousa, in that institution and the erection of a family mausoleum. The couple gave 500 000 réis to the convent, which would be employed in the painting of an altarpiece to the main chapel, the construction of the mausoleum and in the acquisition of a public debt instrument or a property, whose revenues would guarantee the maintenance of the chapel. D. Gil and D. Joana also gave a public debt instrument of 9 600 réis in Almoxarifado de Santarém to the convent, which would support the celebration of perpetual annual masses for their souls and for the souls of their descendants. Both of the parties agreed that, following the deaths of D. Gil and D. Joana, the legitimes which belonged to their daughters would be inherited by the successor of D. Gil Eanes da Costa's entail. Contains copies of a letter of attorney and a warrant.

Contract and bond deed signed between the religiosos of the monastery of São Domingos of Évora and Gonçalo Boto regarding the chapel of Santo Espírito, which the latter had in that monastery. The contract establishes the pious charges that were to be concluded and the respective payment.

Contract and bond deed by which Manuel Mendes Lisboa contracted with the priests of the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça for the celebration of thirteen masses, using some houses located Lisboa.

Contract and bond deed between the beneficiados of the church of S. Nicolau of Lisboa and the executors of Fernando Velho's will, Diogo de Palma and Álvaro Barradas, by which the latter found a chapel in that church. The beneficiados give them the space where it should be erected the chapel of Madre Deus and the family mausoleum, committing themselves to celebrate weekly masses for the institutor's soul. In turn, the chapel's administrators are obligated to give, each year, 6 000 réis to that church. Followed by a carta de autoridade issued on 1533-12-13.

Contract and bond deed between the friars of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa and Luís da Silva, son of João Gomes da Silva, who had been Vedor da Fazenda do Rei and membro do Conselho Régio, by which they gave to him the convent's sacristy, where a family mausoleum should be erected to receive the bodies of his parents and of the future administrators of the entail established by his father. The friars also committed themselves to celebrate a perpetual daily mass in that chapel. Luís da Silva, in turn, donated a public debt instrument of 50 000 réis and 200 cruzados to that convent, with the purpose of supporting the celebration of masses and to guarantee the future improvement of the sacristy.

Contract and bond deed by which Francisco Serrão, fidalgo da Casa do Rei e do seu Conselho, husband of Maria Brandão, receives a chapel from the priests of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, which shall serve as his family's burial place and chapel of the entail he will found. He promises to entail to it a public debt instrument of 20 000 réis for an obligation of a daily mass for his soul. While the interest isn't bought, he entails to the obligation his houses in Lisboa. The administrator of his entail shall also administer the chapel.

Contract and bond deed by which António da Rocha Barém, administrator of Catarina da Rocha's entail and Alcaide-mor de Noudar, buys the chapel of Santo António to the friars of the convent of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, where the remains of the institutor and of her successors would be buried, for 350 000 réis. The administrator and his descendants are obligated to pay 63 400 réis, each year, for the celebration of annual masses for the soul of Catarina da Rocha, the lighting of two lamps and the general maintenance of the chapel. Contract and bond deed signed by the prior and friars of the convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça and by Doutor Rodrigo Botelho, executor of the will of the late D. Diogo de Meneses, by which the former donated the main chapel to the successors of the House of Ericeira and Louriçal, allowing the burial of the bodies of D. Henrique de Meneses, Governador da Índia, D. Diogo de Meneses and his descendants in there. The friars committed themselves to celebrate 3 perpetual daily masses and 2 anniversary masses for the soul of the Conde da Ericeira. In turn, Rodrigo Botelho promised to give 25 000 cruzados to the convent, whose friars would be responsible for buying assets to entail to the chapel. Furthermore, Rodrigo Botelho delivered tapestries that had belonged to the deceased, thus fulfilling his last will. It is referred that the House of Ericeira and Louriçal was administrated, at that time, by D. Fernando de Meneses. Contains a copy of a letter of attorney and various court sentences.

Contract and bond deed between D. Francisco Rolim and his wife D. Guiomar de Castro and the prior of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa. The prior gives the chapter house of the convent for their graves and obliges the religious to accomplish a set of pious charges for these couple’s souls, which are listed. D. Francisco and D. Guiomar promise as payment an annual rent paid in cereal from their properties in Azambuja and its outskirts. All the conditions and payment alternatives are detailed, as well as the role of the administrator, who is not identified, in these payments. It is followed by a consent deed by the religious of the convent (dated 1573-09-24, signed on 1573-10-03).

Contract and bond deed celebrated between the religiosos of the São Francisco of Évora monastery and João Afonso de Aguiar and his wife Maria Esteves. The latter had built a chapel in that monastery, where they wanted to be buried. This contract defined the charges that were to be celebrated upon and appointed Garcia de Melo to be the first administrator during his lifetime. After his death, he shall be succeeded by his eldest male son. The first ones agree with the clauses expressed in the contract.

Filipa, João's wife, receive the chapel of the invocation of Nossa Senhora da Graça in the convent of the same name, in Lisboa, to serve as their entail's chapel and as burial place for its founders, relatives and future administrators. Those masses would be prayed by the chaplain of Domingos Nunes and Ana Maria Rodarte's chapel. Pedro da Silva Rodarte and his wife accepted this deed. Furthermore, José Nunes Rodarte declared that after his death the chapel he administrated should be inherited by Doutor José de Carvalho Rodarte, médico graduado do partido do Rei, familiar do Santo Ofício, Cavaleiro da Ordem de Cristo.

Contract and bond deed by which D. Joana de Noronha, daughter of the condes de Linhares and niece of doutor Diogo de Paiva de Andrade, establishes the chapel ordered by her uncle in the monastery of Nossa Senhora da Graça of Lisboa. She receives the chapel of S. Nicolau de Tolentino from the priests of the convent, to serve as her uncle's burial place, and promises to give them 34 000 réis of interest set in the Alfândega of Lisboa. The priests promise to pay a daily mass for the institutor's soul.

Contract and bond deed by which D. Maria Bulhão, widow of Fernando Bulhão, acquires a chapel in the church of S. Mamede of Lisboa, to use as her family's chapel and burial place. She bequeaths the priests money from the revenue of her farmstead in Caneças, with an obligation of masses for her soul, which they accept to pray.

Contract and bond deed by which Francisco da Fonseca and his wife Maria Salvado, the institutor's daughter, contracted with the priests of the Church of São Tomé to build a chapel following the institutor's will. They should be its first administrators and their heirs should succeed in this entail. If they did not nominate one of the children, it should succeed the eldest son, or daughter. This entail is composed of a farm in Vale Escuro, with its houses, and fruit trees located on the outskirts of Lisboa.

Contract and bond deed made between Margarida de Horta, widow of Francisco Gomes de Alcobaça, on her behalf and Mécia Nunes de Horta, her sister, and the officers of the Confraria do Espírito Santo da Pedreira. The confraternity authorizes the burial of the first ones, and their descendants, in the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, in the church of Espírito Santo da Pedreira. The former undertake to make an altarpiece for it, and provide it with everything else necessary for the cult, within a year. Margarida Nunes de Horta also gives the confraternity a public debt instrument, in the amount of 50.000 réis, under the agreement. The founders could appoint the next administrator, but in case of extinction of the lineage, the administration would pass to the confraternity.

Contract and bond deed by which Simão Correia Lomelino and his wife, Guiomar Cabea, establish a chapel of the invocation of the Almas do Purgatório in the church of Santa Maria de Oeiras, where they wish to be buried. They entail to it a vineyard in Oeiras, which shall pay 2 000 réis each year for the ornamentation of the chapel and pious obligations for their souls.

Contract and bond deed between the friars of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa and Ana Leme by which the latter gives 200 000 réis to them in exchange for the donation of the chapel of S. Tomás, where her parents' remains and the administrators of Henrique Leme's entail should be buried. She committed herself to give 18 000 réis, each year, to that convent with the purpose of assuring the fulfilment of the pious obligations established by Henrique Leme, her brother. Contract and bond deed by which D. Gil Eanes da Costa, fidalgo da casa real, and his wife Margarida de Noronha declared that they contracted with the priests of the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça to be buried in the chapel of São Nicolau Tolentino. The institutors wanted to order the celebration of masses in their grave for their and their parents soul. They established to give to the priests 27 000 réis, 500 réis for wax and 2 000 réis for chapel's work, using the rents of a "herdade" located in Azambuja. They also determined that the administrators of the chapel should be the successors of their entail. This document has inserted a proxy of D. Margarida de Noronha dated 1594-08-30.

Contract and bond deed by which the friars of the convent of S. Domingos donated to Brianda Nunes, Francisco Rodrigues de Elvas' widow, and her sons, Gonçalo Rodrigues de Elvas and Nicolau Nunes de Elvas, the space for them to erect a chapel and family grave in the church of that convent, in exchange for 100 000 réis. Brianda, Gonçalo and Nicolau committed themselves to give the friars, each year, a public debt instrument of 54 000 réis, whose revenues would support the celebration of annual masses for their souls and those of Francisco Rodrigues de Elvas and Belchior Gomes, Brianda and Francisco's son. Thus, they followed the wishes expressed in Francisco and Belchior's wills, who already were buried in the chapter house of the referred convent. Pedro de Alcáçova, establishes six daily masses in the chapel of Santíssimo Sacramento of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, which shall be administered by her son, D. She promises to give 180 000 réis of interest to entail to this chapel, for which the priests of the convent sell her 80 000 réis of a public debt instrument they owed in the Casa da Imposição dos Vinhos. Contract and bond deed made between the priests of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa, represented by Frei Manuel dos Reis, and Catarina Ferreira and her mother Antónia Ferreira, António de Azevedo’s widow. Catarina Ferreira and her mother agree to the conditions stipulated in Ricarda Antunes’ will. The testator had bequeathed her niece Catarina her share in some houses located in Lisboa, which she had perpetually rented from the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa, requiring the fulfilment of pious charges. Ricarda Antunes also left to her niece the third part of her father Fernando Eanes’ assets, consisting of a share of houses in the same location. Catarina was to own the houses in their entirety and entailed to Ricarda’s chapel. Thus, Antónia Ferreira renounces her inheritance from her late son Francisco Manuel da Costa in favour of her daughter Catarina, so that she could own the houses as a whole as her sister-in-law had wished. Subsequently, Catarina enters into a perpetual lease agreement with the convent for these properties, which includes all the detailed clauses, and the convent agrees to fulfil the charges established by her aunt. An extract of Ricarda Antune’s will is included, along with a reference to the approval deed (dated 1622-05-20) and to a certificate of the opening deed of will (dated 1631-07-21).

Contract and bond deed by which Manuel de Almeida, fidalgo da Casa do Rei e do seu Conselho, and his wife D. Beatriz Pinheiro contracted with the friars of the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça, in Lisboa, to found a chapel, appointing the successor of the entail they will found to be its first administrator. Contract and bond deed by which the priests of the convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça of Lisboa donate the chapel of Espírito Santo, in their church, to Diogo Dias de Andrade, cavaleiro fidalgo da Casa do Rei, and to his wife, Esperança Gomes, to serve as their chapel and burial place. They promise to pray a daily mass for their souls in exchange for a public debt instrument worth 45 000 réis, which the instutors pledge to give them in the next two years.

Contract and bond deed between Antão de Faria, Fidalgo da Casa do Rei, his wife, Leonor Gonçalves de Oliveira, and the prior of the convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça, by which the former declared that they had established a chapel in that convent where their bodies would be buried. In order to guarantee the celebration of annual masses for their souls in perpetuity, they entailed a property (casal) in A do Fação, Sintra, to their chapel. The friars of the convent had to fulfil that pious obligation and to take care of the chapel's ornaments. The prior accepted the terms of the contract. Contract and bond deed between Luís de Barbuda de Melo, Fidalgo da Casa do Rei and Alcaide-mor de Montemor-o-Velho, and the convent of S. Contract and bond deed between Jorge da Silva, Duarte de Melo, padre Frei António do Casal and Duarte Cedreira, executors of D. Manuel de Lima, and the religious of the convent of São Francisco of Lisboa, so that D. Manuel de Lima was buried in the chancel of that convent, after having transferred the bones of the Duquesa of Bragança. There, D. Maria de Mendonça, widow of D. Manuel de Lima, and other persons named in the contract could also be buried, but no others. The religious are obliged to carry out charges, receiving, from the executors, various assets, included in the inventory. The legitimate descendants of Manuel de Lima were the administrators of the chapel, with the obligation to monitor the fulfillment of the charges.

Contract and bond deed by which D. Diogo Teles Henriques, heir and successor of the properties of his deceased uncle, Aires Teles de Meneses, buys the former chapel of S. Bento of the convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça of Lisboa, to establish there the chapel and burial place ordered by his uncle, which shall have the invocation of S. Gregório. He entails to it a public debt instrument in the Alfândega of Lisboa, with an obligation of a daily mass and five annual masses, according to his uncle's will. The priests of the convent promise to fulfil the obligations.

Maria Botelho, widow of André Soares, establishes a daily mass in her chapel of Nossa Senhora da Conceição in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade for the soul of her daughter, D. Inês, who had requested it in her will, and for the souls of her other children. She entails to it a public debt instrument of 22 650 réis set in the Alfândega de Lisboa.

Contract and bond deed by which Brás Rodrigues Pita, cavaleiro da Ordem de Cristo, receives from the nuns of the convent of Santa Clara de Caminha the main chapel of their church to use as his family's burial place, to which he and his wife will entail their third parts with obligations of masses. He declares he has made a contract with Domingos Gonçalves, pedreiro, to build the chapel. Both parts agree to this contract and promise to fulfil it.

Contract and bond deed celebrated between Fernando de Brito and his wife Isabel de Azevedo and the prior and raçoeiros of the church of Santiago of Évora. The second cede the chapel of São Brás, situated in that church, for the tomb of the first and their descendants, and undertake to celebrate the charges, upon payment of the contractual rent. Francisco de Brito and his wife Isabel Zuzarte agree with the conditions, committing themselves to their fulfilment.
