Contract and bond deed by which D. Diogo Teles Henriques, heir and successor of the properties of his deceased uncle, Aires Teles de Meneses, buys the former chapel of S. Bento of the convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça of Lisboa, to establish there the chapel and burial place ordered by his uncle, which shall have the invocation of S. Gregório. He entails to it a public debt instrument in the Alfândega of Lisboa, with an obligation of a daily mass and five annual masses, according to his uncle's will. The priests of the convent promise to fulfil the obligations.

He declares he has made a contract with Domingos Gonçalves, pedreiro, to build the chapel. Both parts agree to this contract and promise to fulfil it.

The second cede the chapel of São Brás, situated in that church, for the tomb of the first and their descendants, and undertake to celebrate the charges, upon payment of the contractual rent. Francisco de Brito and his wife Isabel Zuzarte agree with the conditions, committing themselves to their fulfilment.

Contract and bond deed between António Machado (o moço), homem de negócio, and the brotherhood of Santíssimo Sacramento of the church of S. Nicolau, by which the former, on behalf of his cousin, João Machado, homem de negócio em Goa, donates to its members 1 conto de réis, which are henceforth obligated to celebrate a daily mass, in that church, for his soul. The brotherhood commits itself to fulfil those pious obligations and to give, each year, 40 000 réis to the chaplain responsible for the celebration of the masses. The chapel's institutor determines that as long as he, his brothers, Paulo Machado and Inácio Machado, his nephews or their sons live in Portugal, they have the privilege to appoint the chaplain.

Contract and bond deed between the priests of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa, and Luís da Cunha, on the behalf of D. Catarina de Meneses, D. João Coutinho’s widow. The priests bequeath her the chapel of Santíssimo Sacramento for her grave, for the grave of her husband and her heirs. D. Catarina obliges herself to pay a public debt instrument of 60 000 réis for the chapel and for the pious charges she established, which will be delivered by the counts of Sabugal with conditions that are detailed.

Violante de Castro. The priests oblige themselves to fulfil pious charges, which are detailed, for the soul of D. Violante and for the souls of her father, mother and other ancestors already deceased. D. Violante has a public debt instrument of 50 000 réis at the Almoxarifado in Alenquer and she promises to leave 25 000 réis after her death to pay annually for these charges.

The condes entail a revenue of 10 000 reis from the Casa do Pescado of Peniche to an obligation of finishing the construction of the chancel and keeping it well-kept and decorated.

Contract and bond deed between the priests of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Monte do Carmo de Lisboa and Álvaro Pacheco and his son-in-law, Diogo Fernandes das Póvoas. It reinforces a previous agreement in which the priests granted them a chapel in the convent's church to serve as a burial site for them, their wives, and descendants, under a set of detailed conditions. Álvaro Pacheco and Diogo Fernandes established perpetual pious charges, including masses in the chapel, and agreed to pay an annual rent in wheat to ensure their fulfilment. After their death, the chapel would be administrated by Álvaro Pacheco, o Moço, respectively their grandson and son. Álvaro Pacheco strengthens this entail by giving his grandson three properties, described in detail along with the conditions for the entail's transmission.

Contract and bond deed between the priests of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa and Filipe Peixoto da Silva, by which he accomplishes the will of his late wife Isabel Gomes. She expressed her wish of obligating the third part of her assets to the fulfilment of a daily mass at the altar of Santo Cristo in the church of that convent. Filipe Peixoto binds himself and the future administrators of the chapel to the payment of 28 000 réis or 30 000 réis per year, entailing his property (casal) in Cabrela, in the outskirts of Sintra.
It mentions that Filipe Peixoto is son of Estêvão Peixoto da Silva and Isabel de Araújo, and it inserts his petition to sign this contract in the absence of the procurador das capelas (which is not dated) and the dispatch issued by the provedor dos resíduos (dated 1658-10-27).

Contract and bond deed between the priests of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa and Diogo Rodrigues de Lisboa, as administrator of the chapel of his brother Henrique Rodrigues de Lisboa, who died in Goa. Diogo Rodrigues was notified by the procurador das capelas to accomplish his brother’s will and establish a chapel with a perpetual daily mass in the church of that convent. Although his brother's assets did not arrive from India, Diogo Rodrigues gives 42 0000 réis to the priests who must buy a property whose annual income should exceed 30 000 réis to ensure the pious charges and the chapel’s maintenance. Other obligations for both parties are detailed in this contract.

They promise to entail a public debt instrument and a rent to an obligation of a daily mass in that convent and masses in the days of Santo António and of Todos os Santos. The chapel will be administered by the administrators of the entail they will institute. The priests of the convent promise to fulfill the obligations and give them a place for the chapel.

Contract and bond deed by which Pedro Cardoso, fidalgo da Casa do Rei, in his name and in the name of his wife, D. Isabel de Carvalho, establishes the amount of masses to be prayed in their chapel and burial place, which they ordered to be built in the Colegiada of Santa Maria de Oliveira de Guimarães, 12 years before, and was now finished. He and his wife have agreed to entail their third parts, headed by their farmstead of Paço dos Cardosos, in the parish of Nespereira, to this obligation. The masses will be for their souls and for the souls of kings D. Manuel I and D. João III. The priests of the colegiada accept the payment and promise to fulfil the obligations. Pedro de Cardoso promises, in his, his wife's and his successors' names to pay the priests the amount necessary to their fulfilment.
Followed by an acceptance deed by Isabel de Carvalho, agreeing to the conditions of the contract, on the same day.

Contract and bond deed signed by the friars of the monastery of S. Bento of Lisboa and João de Almada de Melo, Fidalgo da Casa do Rei and Comendador da Ordem de Cristo, through which they gave him and his successors the chapel of S. Bernardo, where the remains of Gaspar de Araújo e Sousa and of the administrators of his entail would, henceforth, be deposited. João de Almada de Melo, who was the nephew of Gaspar de Sousa Lobo and succeeded him in the administration of Gaspar de Araújo e Sousa's entail, was obligated to finish the construction of the chapel and to leave a public debt instrument of 54 000 réis to the monastery. Its revenues would support the celebration of a perpetual annual mass for the institutor's soul. Contains a consent deed issued by D. Filipa de Sousa, wife of the entail's administrator.

Fernando de Noronha, and his wife, D. Filipa de Sá, the chancel of their church to serve as their family's burial place. The previous condes de Linhares, D. António and D. Joana de Noronha, and all of their house's descendants, shall also be buried there. The chapel will have an obligation of a daily mass and an annual one for their souls and for Violante de Andrade's soul. They promise to give a public debt instrument worth 70 000 réis to the priests to entail to this obligation. While this donation isn't made, they pledge their houses to them, allowing their entailment. D. Fernando and his wife also pledge the rents of the entail they possess to the fulfilment of this obligation.

He commits himself to give each year to the convent 330 reais brancos, which should be extracted from the revenues of his farmstead (quinta) of Fontoura, in the outskirts of Lisboa.

He promises to pay anually to the convent 2 000 reis for its ornamentation and to order a weekly mass for the souls in Purgatory. He designates it as his family's burial place and entails to it his houses in Lisboa, in rua dos Cabides, passing these obligations to his successors. The document mentions an acquisition deed dated 1645-10-24, by which Cristóvão Rodrigues Becares acquired the chapel from Álvaro de Azevedo, who had bought it from Luís Vaz de Resende, who had acquired it through a public auction.

Thus, he establishes a chapel, to which he entails houses in Lisboa, a public debt instrument of 64 000 réis in Casa da Portagem de Lisboa, lands (herdade) in the outskirts of Évora and properties in the outskirts of Vila Nova da Rainha.

The priests give them and their heirs and successors a place in the church of the convent to build a chapel dedicated to S. Pedro and oblige themselves to accomplish perpetual pious charges for this couple’s souls, and to provide the chapel with everything necessary. In their turn, the couple promise to offer an annual public debt instrument or rent of 35 000 réis. If they die without fulfilling the promise, this value should be taken from their assets until their heirs purchase the public debt instrument or rent. It is followed by a consent deed of Juliana Correia (made on the same date, signed on 1628-05-09).

He establishes a daily mass for his and his wife's souls, and promises in their name and the name of their successors, to give a public debt instrument to the convent to support this obligation. If it isn't given, the payment of the masses shall be made from the revenue of their houses in Lisboa.

Contract and bond deed between D. Maria de Castro and the prior and friars of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Espinheiro, by which they gave to her the chapel of S. Jerónimo and committed themselves to celebrate a perpetual daily mass for the soul of her late husband, D. Garcia de Meneses. The chapel would become a family mausoleum. D. Maria de Castro entailed a public debt instrument of 45 000 réis to the chapel, which would be given by D. Duarte de Castelo Branco, Meirinho mor, and D. Catarina da Silva, his wife. Part of the public debt instrument's income had to be spent in the chapel's maintenance. The friars were obligated to give an account of how they managed that money to the chapel's administrator. Contract and bond deed by which D. Filipa de Figueiredo, widow of Simão de Faria, declares that her husband had made a contract with the priests of the convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça of Lisboa to establish a chapel of the invocation of S. Tiago in their church, as his father, Lourenço de Faria, had wished. Simão de Faria had established an obligation of 36 annual masses and had bequeathed 30 000 réis for the acquisition of a rent of wheat in Campo de Santarém, according to a contract made in 1515-11-12. As heir of her husband, D. Filipa had inherited this money and now promised to acquire the rent for the chapel of her husband and father-in-law. If she dies without acquiring this property, the farmstead where she lives will be entailed in place of the rents.

Contract and bond deed signed by the friars of the convent of S. Bento da Saúde of Lisboa and the executors of Luís Mendes de Elvas' will, Belchior Gomes de Elvas and Manuel Correia de Sousa. The executors delivered 2 contos and 492 000 réis to the convent to support the celebration of 3 perpetual daily masses for the souls of Luís Mendes de Elvas and his father, António Gomes de Elvas, and to pay for masses already celebrated in their honour. Since the executors were unable to buy a public debt instrument, they gave the money to the friars to guarantee that they bought assets to entail to the chapel, took care of its preservation and its ornaments, which are minutely described in the document. Contract and bond deed by which Francisco de Melo, monteiro-mor, contracted with the priests of the Convent of São Francisco de Santarém to have the main chapel in order to place there his grave. The institutor wanted to give to the priests 300 000 réis, and to pay more 25 000 réis each year for the celebration of masses for his and his heirs' soul. He also wanted to give five jars of oil for the candles of the Santíssimo Sacramento and whatever would be necessary for the maintenance of the chapel. Followed by a consent deed of his wife D. Luísa de Mendonça dated 1641-09-12.

Contract and entail foundation deed by Duarte da Gama with António da Gama, his son, and licenciado Afonso Eanes, tutor of António da Gama, in which the first one founds an entail to his son with all his assets and the latter ones commit themselves to entail all the assets that António da Gama inherited from his late mother, in her reserved portion. Duarte da Gama appoints António da Gama as the first owner of this entail and, after his death, his firstborn male son, with the pious obligation of some masses in the monastery of Nossa Senhora da Piedade of Azeitão.

Court sentence by which Rui Forjaz and his wife Isabel Eanes, the administrators of Joana Lagostina's chapel, declared that she was flemish and wife of Álvaro Eanes de Castelo Branco and that she ordered the celebration of ten masses in the Church of Santa Iria and the Church of São João da Talha, using the rents of some olive groves. A papal bull had declared that in this chapel should be said forty masses and the administrators accepted these new obligations. Their children should succeed in this chapel and they could nominate whomever they wanted to be its administrator. The account of the administration specifies that this entail is composed of a "casal", vineyard and olive groves located in Loures.

The sentence confirms the information that had been sent to Rome to issue the bull, thus confirming the reduction in the charges of the chapel instituted by Joana Ferreira.

Declaration deed of the assets of the chapel and entail instituted by Fernando Álvares da Cunha, located in the church of Nossa Senhora da Vitória of Lisboa, issued by Doutor Gaspar Ferraz, provedor dos Hospitais, Capelas, Confrarias e Resíduos of Lisboa, following a petition presented by Joana Vaz. The administrator, after a demand with the entail, changed the properties previously entailed, requesting the declaration deed to add them to the books intended for the registration of the entail in Torre do Tombo and in the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Vitória, which she had already ordered to be made.
It also includes several documents relating to the purchase of real estate, incomes and public debt instruments, along with the realization of leases, prior to the establishment of the entail, dated between 1556-07-09 and 1570-10-14.

They give an account of the fulfillment of their wills and legacies. They also orders the rebuilding of the hermitage of Nossa Senhora das Neves, in Vila Nova de Monsarros, as well as the celebration of perpetual charges. João Manuel Soares would be its patron during his life, succeeding him the closest relative of Cosme Dias and the chaplain of the chapel, who would administer it together. While Baltasar was still alive, Catarina was obligated to send, annually, 4 000 réis to their sisters, who were nuns in the convent of S. Domingos of Elvas. Catarina should pass this inheritance to her son or daughter.

Declaration deed through which Pedro Fernandes and Maria Antónia, his wife, revoke clauses of the donation deed they had made previously, determining that, if they do not have any children, their houses in Lisboa should be inherited by a son or daughter of Beatriz de Sousa, Madalena Antónia's sister. He/she would be obligated to support the celebration of 50 annual masses in the church of S. João da Praça of Lisboa and to transmit the entailed properties to his/her descendants. If Beatriz de Sousa forgets to appoint one of her children to administrate that entail, it must be passed to her eldest daughter. Those houses could never be sold or exchanged for other ones.

João do Hospital de Jerusalém and bailio de Lango e Leça, confirms the renounciation of a house, orchard and vineyards in Elvas that his brother, António de Mesquita, made to his son, Álvaro de Mesquita, and establishes the conditions of this donation, as had been accorded. He declares that these properties will be entailed to an annual mass for his soul over his tomb or in the chapel of Santo António of the cathedral of Elvas, where his parents are buried. After Álvaro's death, the entail will pass to his children. If he doesn't have successors, it will pass to his sister, D. Joana de Mesquita, and to her children, or to their brother, Alexandre de Mesquita. If his heirs don't fulfil the obligations, the entail will pass to the administrator of the entail founded by Álvaro de Mesquita and his wife, Pedro de Mesquita's parents. Maria da Costa Noronha also entails to her parents' entail a golden ring with the coat of arms of Costas. Besides, she mentions that she owns the entail founded by D. Pedro de Sousa, in which she has a lawsuit with D. Lourenço de Sousa, informing that Nuno Gomes, seu criado, has to give account of the income taken from that entail.
